  1. Very good guide.

Just one small thing i noticed on the mining section, varrock armour 3 and 4 definitely work at granite but it only helps up to adamantite ore when mining rocks.

    Thank you. :)

That is very true, though, if you are trying to get strange rocks, you will be after either a more experienced based one or a one that gives more resources. Considering even adamanite is a stretch on speed AND experience I would not recommend runite (making the 3rd/4th Varrock armour useless in this situation).

Both of these, mainly rune are used for the money. I'm not sure of the profit from the coal and gold deposits, but I do know they are vastly faster, and give more experience, because of this you will want to mine from these after Granite (or a slower method like the coal trucks).

  2. Well... Didn't mean to start this argument. Me not having a worry of the wilderness shouldn't have you react that i'm cocky and other hypothetical things.

Thanks Sinkhanm, didn't see the "still working on it" part when I read before. I have patience.

    "My question is now answered"

  3. Pkers don't worry me. Don't bring what you aint willing to lose. Not incredibly hard to get away from 1 person, and you should be able to see if a group is coming. I really am not bothered in the slightest.

Thanks for that info about the AZ being instanced though!

  4. Hmm. Well I got my extra xp from all the portals. That's good.

Nice to know I can get quick transport to the Armoured Zombies. Safe isn't what I care about. People overreact about that, Wildy is harmless.

  5. I read in the FAQ a week ago there would be new rewards to those activities which take you to the wilderness.

I didn't see anything about new rewards in the update post. Did they scrap the idea?

  6. I just got 77 mining, and would like to mine the coal there.

A friend that mines there said the populated world is 88. Tons of bots or something for protection. I went to world 88, it was empty.

Could someone tell me what world people normally use?

  7. When you fight Hati the wolf, he speaks. Jagex said this was in another language, of which I am not sure, however you could visit the other language forum to see if they had figured it out.

I looked over the wikipedia page to see if someone had added what the wolf said, but with no luck. I was wondering if anyone else has found out what he says.

  8. I have a tiny question about the shattered heart activty.

I just got the statue for the first time yesterday.

My question is: Can i get all the rocks immediatly back ?

Or do I have to wait for a week to get the rocks ?

Or do I have to wait only for rebuilding the statue ?

    thanks

You will have to wait only for rebuilding the statue. Once you've built the statue completely and gotten the replica piece, you can continue gathering more strange rocks. You can also put new rocks on the statue without waiting, however you won't be able to place the last rock pair until a full 7 days has transpired.

  10. I've updated the guide with the following information:

    Rocks from Herblore Habitat

FAQ if rocks are obtained from Monkey Knife Fighters

Estimated overall experience you could expect from this D&D

New Pictures for Herblore, Hunting, Runecrafting, Smithing, Thieving, and Woodcutting

Added descriptions on the inventory for each picture/skill on the inventory/worn inventory.

If you have any suggestions on how things could be shown, please tell me.

  11. This is partially help, and assistance.

I am currently upgrading my Shattered Heart guide with the latest few updates. HERE for guide

These updates would include the new Monkey Knife Fighters from the Do No Evil quest, and the farming and herblore elements of the Herblore Habitat training area.

I am already aware that catching jinkinos (the raptors) can give strange rocks, but so far, I am unsure with farming and herblore elements. I have heard rumours that farming gives rocks, but this may be someone getting one when harvesting a fruit tree, which is already known to give rocks.

As for the monkey side, I spent roughly 20-30 minutes there theiving them, and did not get any rocks. This could be that I am unlucky, or that they do not give them. Help is appreciated and your name shall go in the credits. Thank you for any helpers. :)

  12. Thanks Mikeg and Quyneax. :)

With the Herblore Habitat update, I noticed you can get strange rocks from it. I got one myself while hunting the little raptors, but I haven't gotten one from the farming plants or making the potions. I did hear rumours though that you could. If there is anyone who could confirm to me if you get strange rocks from either farming (and if it is only particular spots) or juju Herblore it'd be great and i'll put you in the credits. :)

  13. On the ring part: I haven't read them in a while, so all I remember from the ring classes is getting extra ores/logs. But thanks for that.

Ok, if I put it that I didn't care about being an "elite dunger" and doing incredibly fast floors (so no spear), what is more important? Stab, Slash or Crush? Because really I do little killing, besides a guardian or monolith which i have to do, and the boss if no more rooms are left. I'm sure you're probably thinking i'm an idiot, but really I want to change weapons (shouldn't have listed the spear on there >_>), so my preference would go to the longsword or battleaxe. I can only wear Goronite.

Another thing to consider, are you just going on random teams, or do you have set people you dungeoneer with?

I said in the OP the two people i'm mainly dunging with have a rapier and a 2h (person with rapier having better stats), which is why i'm split between the choices. Cause rapier still isn't that good, and neither is the actual player with the 2h.

  14. My ring atm is on gatherer. How does that help with the failing doors though (unless i read the sentence wrong)?

I wouldn't change my ring off gatherer if I got another weapon, because i'm quite content with it's special (and I don't really want to spend too many tokens on it). Although, people tend to use two ring classes right? That's what the quick-switch is used for?

I feel like changing, since I've had the spear for a number of months, so that would be between the battleaxe or the 2h then. If I got the battleaxe, what additional ring class would I get?

  15. I currently use a Gorgonite Spear P++. Since i'm only going to be doing Team dunges from now on, I want a weapon where i can hit a bit better (when using slash and crush obviously, Spear covers stab).

I'm considering any of the following:

    Longsword (71 Stab, 101 Slash, 114 str)

    Battleaxe (96 slash, 90 crush, 120 str)

    Rapier (67 Stab, 54 slash, 96 Str)

    2H sword (145 slash, 121 Crush, 141 str)

Keep the Spear (110 stab, 61 slash, 97 crush, 128 str)

I pick those (except the 2hsword) because they are single handed, and because I'm the one who mostly keys/tools the dungeon, if I find a kite shield, it could help me a bit. Also, because they all have 2 attack styles.

The two main friends I dunge with have use a rapier or a 2h sword, the girl using a rapier having better combat stats (10 so attack/defence levels).

Because of this I was thinking either a Longsword or a battleaxe would be my best options. I'm not sure whether stab or crush (the two styles where one is missing from either weapon) is used more often, so I would like some help, Please.

  16. I came to this guide looking for information about building that statue in my home. One thing that was not addressed (that I could find) is how many strange rocks you have to get to complete the statue, how long it might take and how much total xp you can expect if you complete the statue.

So I have a long way to go, but I think you have to get 1680 strange rocks??? At my levels, that is around 6500 xp each. That comes to over 10 million total xp in the 15 different skills in bonus xp -- not including the actual xp I get seeking the stones and any increase in bonus xp I will get as my levels increase. Am I even close to correct?

And how long does it take to get all the replica pieces? There are 56 total? I'm not sure.

I still don't know what the statue does when it is completed. But I'm happy to not know until I complete mine. At my current rate I should have it completed some time in 2021.

    Thanks for the feedback.

The actual end result of the Distraction/Diversion is purely cosmetic, so far from what i've heard from people who have completed it (i'm only half way myself, and have been rather inactive), it does nothing.

There being 15 skills used in the D&D, each of them giving 2 rocks per creation of the statue, means you can gain 30 rocks per week. The replica statue, is, well a replica, so it is built in the exact same way, therefore requiring 30 pieces, which is 30 weeks (about 7.5 months). In total, you'll collect 30x30 (900) strange rocks from the entire activity, not including the clay replicas.

I'm going to avoid adding a "you will gain this much exp for 30 weeks", because it will be incredibly inaccurate. The D&D can be started at any level and you level up over time and while doing the activity; which means, your 'reward' exp, will be very difficult to calculate. You may go from level 50-70 in one skill during the entire time, and only go up 80-85 in another skill, which again, makes it hard to calculate.

If you for some glitched up miricale, had level 50 in all of the 15 skills for the entire length of the D&D, you would receive 2500 exp for each stone. There being 900 stones, means you will gain 2.25 mill bonus experience overall (150k each skill). If you were level 90 the entire way, you would expect 7.218 mill bonus experience (481.2k each skill). That's about the average you can/would/should expect.

Hope this has helped. :) I will update the guide with that information soon.
