  1. I've been thinking it does affect it since I've been using torags lately and I splash quite a few times even at 90 mage.

    You have two people surely say it is effected, and you are 50/50 but you are thinking it may effect? :wall:

    I tried to reply when there were 2 replies.. You posted before I clicked sumbit. But yea thanks I know now.

  2. I will get exp per hour aswell but I am a little busy this past week and I couldn't be on for long enough to get 1 hour exp's worth. It will be up soon tho.

    About the one at Pirate Cove, I didn't start the quest for it, and I was unaware of it. :oops: I will start the quest asap and add it to the guide.

    Thanks for suggestions. :D

    Highlighted are the drops worth picking up/alching. You can pick up the other drops if you like too tho.

    That is the outfit I wear to range. If you do not have the best gear here are some other possible ones starting from best to worst.

    Helms: 3rd Age Coif > Robin Hood Hat > Archer's Helm > Karil's Coif > Snakeskin Coif > Coif

    Necklace: Fury > Glory > Power > Accuracy

    Cape: Ava's accumulator > Any cape

    Body: Dragonhide > Others

    Legs: Dragonhide > Others

    Weapon: MSB > Best bow you can use

    Weapon2: Knives > Darts > Javelins (Together with Zammy Book)

    Gloves: Barrows Gloves > Dragon Gloves > Vambraces

    Boots: Ranger Boots > Snakeskin Boots

    Ring: Archer Ring > Ring of Wealth[/hide]

    The Inventory ->

    [hide=Your Invent]mosstheinventdu4.png

    Since you will be ranging the Mossies from a safespot, not alot to no food will be required at all. The food are for when you first get to spot and they are aggressive to you. A 1 click tab may not be necessary but if you are low level it would be better there for emergencies, otherwise bring tele runes incase you want to leave, but a bank is far away. Any fire staff (lava is shown in the picture, it is unlimited fire and earth runes) can be used, and the nats are there for you to high alch some of the items that the Mossies drop. They also drop nats so you wouldn't need to bring that much yourself. The money is there if you need to take a boat ride, ect. to other places.

    Training Spots ->

    [hide=Northwest Brimhaven (Moss Giant Island)]mossspot1vu7.png

    To get to Moss Giant Island you start off at brimhaven, which IMO is the fastest way to get there and to go back and bank.

    Green:The boat ride from Ardy port.

    Red:The walk from Brimhaven port to the rope swing.

    Blue:The blue line is the rope swing to access the island.

    Cyan:This is the spot you want to be.

    Safespots are all around the island, the dead bushes and trees provide cover. Be careful if you are 84 combat or lower as the moss giants will still be agressive against you. (I was 100 combat when I found this place and do not know if they are aggressive to players 84 combat or lower, if someone would confirm it, please post)

    This safespot is good for when the Mossies stop being aggressive and you can safely range them from here or if you are high enough combat for them not to be aggressive.

    mosssafespot1zy6.png

    This next safespot is when you first enter the island and they are aggressive to you. This works well because no Mossies can reach you.

    mosssafespot2wt3.png

    There are also 2 cake slice respawns northwest and southwest of the island. They are good if you get hit by the Mossies and don't want to waste if you brought any with you or run out but get hit.

    mosscakespawnhf1.png

    If you need to bank, just take the rope swing back and walk back to the Brimhaven port and take the boat ride back to Ardy and bank. (Remember your money for the boat rides)

    This is my preferred place to range Mossies because there's little no no one here.[/hide]

    [hide=North of Ardy - East of Fishing Guild]

    mossspot2kr2.png

    To get to this spot, you start off at the bank North of Ardy. Head north to the fishing guild and then go east. When you see a bridge with a fishing spot you will know you are there.

    Purple:Walk from ardy to East of the Fishing Guild near a bridge with a fishing spot sign.

    Red:Marks where the Mossies are approximately are at.

    The safespots with the rocks work well if they are not aggressive against you or you have stayed there past their aggressive period. It's not rly that good because if you are safespotting a Mossie and another one spawns near you while they are still aggressive will make it atk you.

    mosssafespot3as6.png

    This safespot requires little luring. It spawns on the other side of the rock, and you can hit over the rock, but sometimes it moves away and you may get hit while luring it back.

    mosssafespot4pf1.png

    This is an okay spot to train, but it gets crowded near peak hours and is hard for you to keep constantly killing them because you will have to either hop, or wait for one to spawn. If you need to bank, just walk back to Ardy and use the North bank.

  4. I just recently bought 50 crystal bows

    ??!??!?!?!

    usually pple will buy only 1, or 2 to maintain the range bonus.

    I heard of this thing but how does it really work?

    And yea you should just collect hides and bury bones to get the money back for your bows.

  5. I used to mine tin and copper at the Varrock south-east mine, smelt it into bronze bars in the Lumbridge furnace, smith into basic bronze weaponry at the Varrock anvils, sell at the Varrock sword shop, repeat.

    I then realized that if I mined and banked, then smelted and smithed, instead of doing the whole routine at once, I could have gone faster. :oops:

    Mneh, to relive the good ol' days... <3:

    I did the exact same thing :x I didn't learn to mine then bank until I went and started killing things for money instead of mining, smithing, and selling because I find that I make money faster that way.. thats how its been since

  6. I think the guy on youtube did it before the update. I tried fight caves after the update so I dont know how much it changed, but I nearly ran out of sara brews when I reached jad.. Unfortunately he 2 hit me :( Both times..

  7. Im usually verac'ing now so I hate dh and karil. Alot of the time Karil pwns my def, and Dh will own me if I dont pray. The rest are nothing really except when guthans heals a 23 on me.

  8. As said before, you only need the quest points and quests required done. The requirements are for when you are doing the quest as they are needed to do certain tasks.. Thats how I got my barrows gloves, but then I got the requirements to do the quest to use the d sq.

  9. ^ You need 50 construction as you cannot use tea/saw to build rooms.. Portals are located in the Portal Chamber which requires 50 construction to build, so tea/saw will not work

    People barrows in armour because the melee brothers (also sometimes people mage Karil) have low mage defence which was already explained, so even though your mage bonus is in the negatives you still hit them..

    People use slayer dart because you mostly get your runes back from the chest.. So most of the time you break even or more.

    Only Dharok, Verac, Guthans, and Torags uses melee. Karil uses range and Ahrims uses mage.

  10. D Bones w/ Ecto = 288 exp

    Baby D Bones w/ Ecto = 120 exp

    So for every D Bone you sell you need 2.4 Baby ones

    Last time I checked D Bones were selling upwards of 2k ea.. I don't know about Baby D Bones so you'll have to find out.. Depending on the cost of the Baby ones you may get more/less exp..
