I'm on the 3rd floor of 4, but I'm really picky about water pressure because it's hard to get shampoo out of long hair.

Oh yeah, my room is HUGE compared to my room at home. It's definitely an upgrade.

Gahh, I wish I could have a bathtub somewhere close to me. I prefer bathing. Easier to shave. And if the water pressure here is crap anyway, might as well bathe, it's easier to rinse my hair in a tub than a low-pressure shower.

Yeah, community showers, my complaint isn't that they're community but that they're so tiny and don't have enough water pressure.

I was so jealous of the BYU girls, they were hyper excited and got exactly what they wanted. I got a good deal for not getting what I wanted. My room is bigger than my friend's and I'm in here alone. Yeah, I have to ride the shuttle bus back and forth (or walk, but I'm not going to do that before classes), I don't have a sink, and my room gets lonely, but ehh. I like it.

You can usually request, but the extent of how exact your requests are and how they're prioritized vary by school and how soon you request housing. I requested late, so I didn't get a room in any of my top 5 buildings, but I'm pretty satisfied. Some of my friends requested super early and got exactly what they wanted, some schools have special housing for honors program students, one of my friends is in the diversity dorm, and my Mormon friends are in apartment-style dorms where they selected their exact beds in a 3-bedroom apartment dorm. It varies a lot. Most liikely though, yes.

Sure, I'll just take the freshman 15 all at once, get it out of the way

So it's real, the girl across the hall from me is in my English class, I thought it was her.

Tonight, I have to write a speech, check what needs to be done for English, put a little time in on a bunch of Spanish worksheets I was given today, and watch a show at 10.

The professor passed around coal and told everyone to fondle it, become one with it, do whatever we wanted with it. It was bizarre. Right when it got passed to me a chunk of it broke off, it was awkward
