  1. 1. It's nest never to attack them, escpecially if you're F2P.

    2. They teleblock, freeze, and maybe poision on F2P and P2P servers.

    3. Summoning has not been released yet. People have managed to kill them, but the loot is pretty absymal.

    4. It's best not to go for revenge unless you have 5+ people.

In p2p drops you get drag daggers, glorys and obby capes from the higher lvl revenats.

Hm, even then it would be much better to DK, or something else then go take on revanents. Even if they drop obby capes, when something freezes, teleblocks, uses all three combat styles(from what I heard), and also consistently hits 20+s, it's not the first thing that comes in mind...

  2. ~You lose very little in World 16. I'd suggest getting 44 RC really quick, while you can still use the runners before the new trade limit thing comes out.~

Why would it matter? Runners get paid 2k per trade. The new update is 3k right..?

Try making fires via duel rings if you want an alternative to 44 RC.

But the limit is 3k/15 minutes, not per trade. I don't know how many times I've pointed this out, :uhh:

Oh sorry if I don't know every single little detail about the up and coming update -.-

  4. I've been merchanting steel bars for over a month and I've been running into trouble. Should I:

    1. Wait out the 3k per trade phobia(I haven't been trading a lot).

    2. Expand to iron bars/mith bars/addy bars(It will stretch my capital.)

    3. Increase pay, thus reducing profit margin but hopefuly getting more trades.

    4. Merchant something else.

    A. For a little while.

    B. Permanently.

    5. Leave the business.

    A. For a bit.

    B. Forever...

I'm kind of split for my options right now...

As you can see the minimum price for steel bars is 508. Compare that to the measley 120ea you are previding. Your buyers would have to be morons to sell to you when they can easily sell to GE.

No offense to your sellers. #-o

If you read my topic, I trade 110-120 gp per bar and 2 coal and 1 iron... I've seen Magics and Nuclear employ this merchanting technique for months. I fail to see why it's starting to collapse now, when it was doing fine during the G.E update...

EDIT 1: Hm I'm thinking of either leaving the sector, or just expanding to new bars... I'm stuck here...

EDIT 2: Now I see why so many people are screaming 'merching is dead'. I've been stuck in the safe room for too long.

  6. Okay I have a question. I'm a merchant in the steel bar business(look at my sig). I've put posts on this forum (don't yell at me here), Sals and Zybez, the big three fansites. I've been paying the most on all three forums, I've had the posts up for over a month and yet I'm still not trading a lot... Anyone want to help me out and explain my lack of smelters..? One of my good friends said it's because of the 3k a trade limit, but I still don't get it...

    2. Slayer/Barrow

All barrows stuff prices go down thanks GE effect...

Somebody else said price went up...

Even if prices went down by 20%, getting a Guthans spear sure puts you up a mil or two... And I think the runes from the chest themselves can make you a decent profit...
