to tell you the truth i will never hop even if there is someone there before me. for me the whole point of leveling is to out play the other person.
like mining if i can out mine you why do i need to hop? dont you think i need to do my runs too.

You do realize that banks get reset like every 6 months or so. So inactive accounts- 0money to f2p. I'd say p2p win easily this time, i mean really, its so darn easy to gain money now when pvp is out, jsut take 75k, get a mate , go pk, several tries - milions of gp.... easyyyy (not to mention gwd, boy its easy to get money in there)

topic: well as a full blown f2p currently, my bank is worth about 70mill gp (goal is triple digits)
cut yews all the way to from 60-99
mining/smelting mith and addy from lumby mines since 70-current
so far i am richer than all my member friends

yep skilling is the main way to make money in f2p. i am f2p and my bank is worth abouy 70mill with f2p items only.
i find skilling fun but others may not. when i am members maybe combat will be more fun

Ok thanks. Just wondering, is that how you've gotten your mining level?
From 85-91 it was mostly granite. Since 91 I've been mining whatever I feel like, but since the granite update (Where you can break the larger chunks into the smaller ones) I've been sticking to gold, iron, and runite.
if that dosnt work go to lumbrigde and mine the coal addy and mith and super heat. extremly slow only do it when you have stuff to watch like me i am and been mining there since summer ended. i am catching up on tv shows like Chuck and other stuff

Would be cool if they introduced something that requires maybe 50 defence and attack, not too much better than rune though, but enough to be desirable.
Although, other than the PVP rewards (Unspecified), I have heard nothing of these "new" armor and weapons, and seriously doubt they would have level 70 reqs in F2P.
well i think if they do drop weapons in the new pvp
they would have a selective drop for f2p and a selective drop for p2p
if they are planning to give f2p and p2p new armor then more likely the f2p drop will be a weaker version and the p2p is a stronger version, for example the fog mage gears
so there might be a chance that there will be a lvl 50 armor for f2p and a lvl 75+ for p2p?
just a wild guess

Jagex said you will can make money with the new PvP so it would be nonsense if the new equipment will be untradeable.
you may be right but profitable dosnt always mean armor drop...it would more likely for f2p noted ores,runes, or gp
but there is always wishfull thinking

there was a couple that i have been buying but they rose to over the price of covering the cost. just search and compare and eventually you will find one.
just did a check all you can do is get a small loss now. they fix all the prices.
you can buy armor at low at alching price only
so gems cost less than the alching price but you still make a loss because of the nats. no big deal small loss anyways

why dont you range the spiders too and just wear a d hide top,vamps,power ammy, rune legs and helm
you go nice def so i think you can afk there for a while, if money is your problem then go to lesser and pcik up arrows and drops

i think there is a good chance that it could be untradable
but really in my opinion full rune is all f2p needs, players can easily destroy the roaches already with it. and people dont rev hunt in f2p because of them only dropping gp.

ok this is for all the miners out there
today when i just log on and there was a guy mining. i was like cool compitition (mining is a competitive skill). so i log on mine 9/10 coal or so. so all of a sudden this guy said "haha i got one you noob"
but the thing is i got one too from that same rock. is this a small update or a small bug?
i did notice however that my animation stop first and his kept on going for 2 seconds and when his animation stop that is when the remark came out
has something like this happen to you?
maybe not a bug, maybe just a small glitch?

Lets see: I like 15.5 miles from town and I can't drive yet. I'd most likely be watching TV or maybe doing some yard work. Without out many friends that live anywhere near me my social life is well at School,after school activities, and when I get a ride in town.
o god 15 miles i know how you feel. my nearest mall is 30 miles
i would just watch tv or swim in my pool, to bad it is getting really cold now

Yeah ice barrage / whatever freezes and epic dds specs are awesome for ko. Although I think if you're willing to risk, d bow specs with full void and barrage can work
Void mage on, barrage, switch to range helm, d bow spec x2, mage helm, rebarrage, dds? :thumbsup:
i think using 2 spec with d bow will use up all the specs and by the time the specs bar recharge the match should be over i think
