  1. Ah ok, never mind. :P
  2. ^ Who cares, there's so much Halo stuff everywhere, you can hardly claim it as your own original idea...
  3. ^ So would I. :D Looks great, really nice job. Smudging is indeed not the best way to blend colours usually, but it really isn't a big problem in this case, the smudging actually fits the cartoonish style IMO.
  4. ^ Yeah, smudging is one way of blending, but putting some effects on top of the render usually works pretty well too.
  5. One word: blend. :o Other than that it looks pretty good, I just think the background could be a bit less monotone though.
  6. Take screenshots of different 'parts' of your bank, then put them together in Paint? And please use this sticky for your questions: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=690610

^ SublimeGFX, it's a graphics forum. Never mind, too late. :P

^ Really? I think the hover menu works pretty well. :o Just downloaded it, really awesome. :D I can definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for inspiration, or just likes to mess around and make some strange but awesome things. :P
  9. The first one has a lot of potential. IMO it needs some more different colours (shades of blue for the darker parts of the cave, for example), some more contrast and some 'harder' smudging (higher rate, less 'soft'/blurry) though. Nice stuff, though.
  10. Like you said, they're userbars. They seem to consist of an image with text, a glass effect and scanlines added. Don't get me wrong, they look pretty decent and are definitely not bad for what they are, but like lit said, they're not really something new.
  11. I quite like it, nice effects and the lighting works really well. The render is indeed pretty choppy, but you can't see that in the LP, so it's not really a big problem.
  12. ^ Well, that's pretty much going to be up to us to decide on, isn't it? -.- Nevertheless, I won't judge until I've actually seen your work, which will hopefully be soon. Can't you go to some public place like a library or something and scan them there? Or, if everything else fails, try and take a decent picture of the drawings with a camera, it's better than nothing at least.
  13. Haha everyone disagrees with me. I stick to my point though, just don't like the scanlines. :P
  14. Not a fan of the scanlines, I'd remove them completely. The smudging/blending is ok, but I'm not sure about the white space. Maybe just change the colour to a brown-ish one though.
  15. The effects work pretty well, I'm not a huge fan of the colour scheme either though and I'd get rid of the borders. IMO just not the best render (stock?) to start with though, it doesn't seem to have much options for placing it somewhere else than in the dead center (did that even make sense? :?).
  16. Ouchy GMV. Although I prefer the colour scheme on Yaff's tag, I think it's too messy and noisy in places. Not an easy decision though.
  17. Already commented on most of those on dA, I don't think Star's Playground is your best yet though. It's pretty nice, but I like fractals that are more centred around one or two focal point(s). This one is a little bit chaotic IMO.
  18. 1 GMV as well.

No. It's some filter/effect, not even a drawing. Not good.
  20. ^ You don't have to please everyone, but don't use it as an excuse for not changing anything (not saying that's what you're doing). And you could try to please more people than just your friends at school, who probably aren't the most art-educated people in the world and are biased anyway, simply because they're your friends.
  21. The first one is awesome, though it looks like it could do with a little bit of straightening up. It seems to be tilted to the right slightly. The second one just isn't terribly interesting IMO. It could work if the composition and colours were more interesting, but at the moment it's just one big straw of grass on a blurry background, which is a bit boring.
  22. Really useful. I think your comic needs a lot of work. First of all, spelling/grammar. At least type a full stop at the end of your sentences, I know it's only a small issue, but it makes the whole thing look really sloppy. Also, it may just be me, but in most of the panels I really have no idea what's going on. There's simply too much text and everything seems really chaotic. As pointed out before, using leetspeak isn't a good idea either. It doesn't make the story any funnier, it's just annoying.
  23. When requesting artwork, the right place to do so is The Art Bazaar subforum. Reported the thread, so it should be moved by a moderator pretty soon. Paying for artwork is not allowed on here though, so you might want to remove that part.

Pretty cool, I just feel that you could've gone for a better font though. Not sure if the blockiness of it works, but it doesn't really matter anyway. :P
  25. Some are pretty good, some are as bad as your attitude. Not going to bother giving any real C/C, as you probably couldn't handle it anyway.
