  1. My thoughts exactly. And mine. I'd also recommend looking into Flash if you're seriously interested in animating, Gimp and Photoshop have some decent options for animations, but they won't get you terribly far. I'm sure you could find some open source/completely free alternatives to Flash too though.
  2. And a black and white, and IMO much better version:
  3. ^ Pretty much the same here, my vote also goes to Jason.
  4. Nice theme.
  5. ^ Lol, my thoughts exactly. It should probably say Brace yourself instead.

Indeed. Didn't read it, the stickman drawing looks pretty nice though.
  7. LQ RuneScape image = not a good focal. The animation is unnecessary and just not interesting. Generally, you should only animate parts of an image if it actually really adds something to it. In this case it's just pretty pointless and it doesn't make the signature look any better. The colours are also pretty terrible. Blue and orange are usually ok together, but the bright green brushings are just really, really bad. Take those out altogether, they're not needed. Everything is pretty blurry.
  8. The background looks really brushy and filtery, but the render is blended in pretty well and it's actually not that bad. I wouldn't add text to it though, I just don't think it would work and it would be pretty distracting.
  9. Looks better than the finished product IMHO. :-# Just more interesting colours, less monotone. It's not bad though, but some of the effects seem quite random and all over the place (some of the bits at the top, for example).

How did the render become so blurry? The glow on the weapon looks a bit strange too, there's little circles in it. :?

Text = noplz. Too distracting. The first version looks ok, but the render is really pixely. :?

Totally. IMO the border needs to go though, and I'd maybe go for a more blue-ish colour for the background, the green on the left is quite distracting. Then it'll be perfect. \
  13. Nice Hiimben ripoff with the "Purple Scribbles". -.- Seriously, if you copy someone's style just for practice then that's ok, but don't post the stuff in a shop... (Unless you have permission from Hiimben of course, but otherwise it's just lame.)
  14. I used to, but hardly do it any more now, apart from the occasional "pixeled text on already made pixel signature" requests. :P
  15. They're quite right, although I have actually seen some decent RuneScape signatures, it's still usually a no-no. You wouldn't start with a low quality, blurry, jpeg-erized stock image, so starting with a screenshot of a game that just doesn't look great isn't the best idea either. Apart from that, V1 is a lot better. The second version looks pixely, blurry and LQ because of the glowy effects. V1 is also quite blurry and the effect on the text and blurred background don't work, but it's better.
  16. Yup, I'll also long term judge.
  17. I'd be willing to judge.

^ It does to me. The colours and effects that you did add are pretty nice, but again, it's indeed pretty plain and just needs stuff added to it. :|

I agree. More of a WIP I'd say, but it could be awesome. Good colours.
  20. :o I hate filesize limits sometimes. :(
