Ive just been using long recently so that I can get a better feel for it. I'll probably go back to rapier. Less Veng damage and more reliable.

I just got CLS.

 

Its terrible. Feels slow and inaccurate even with defender. I thought maul was a waste of tokens... Rapier is definitely the best first pick among the three. I own all chaotic weps btw.

 

Will test more.

 

Current rank order:

Rapier > Cbow > Maul > Staff > CLS

And this is why people on w117 will always suck. NEVER MAKE ARMOR. EVER. EVER. EVER. EVER. You SUCK if you can't use prayers/food to stay alive as a keyer, even w/o help from team.

This line of argument frustrates me.

 

If I went into a medium dungeon right now and tried to rely on food and prayer alone, I'd die within ten rooms. Goodness knows how much that tactic would fail with my defence level on a large floor, although I'll confess I've never been on one, I know it's twice as large as medium. At level 76 defence, my combat stats can hardly be considered 'low' in the context of everyone who plays RuneScape (ranked 520K out of several million accounts, in the top 30% at worst).

 

Racheya touched on this in her article a couple of weeks ago, and she was shouted down for not knowing any better, but the inconvenient truth is not everyone has 99 defence/HP, nor should they to enjoy dungeoneering without being told they 'SUCK'.

 

Some people have to make armour to survive in dung without dying. Suck it up, go form a clan where making armour is banned. Otherwise, don't expect some stranger you've never spoken to before from w117 to conform to your exacting standards.

Making armor involves finding at least five bars, which you need to find the ore for. If you can't find ores you need to find a lot of money (which could have been spent on an altar, something that benefits the entire team.) Making armor costs valuable time which could have been spent killing npcs in a gd. Stone was harsh but true.

 

Completely agree. The only skilling that I approve of are:

-- Fishing

-- Making bloodragers for boss

-- Making strong melees

 

Skinweavers I fine with me too. I use them often as well. Maybe it goes hand-in-hand with fishing though.

 

Runecrafting I'll take too. Vengeance + Cures are very helpful.

I posted this on blasphemy's forums.

Blasphemy stumbled in classic war arena vs Arch Angels.

First pile , we got beast dragged. Maka kept pace.

Blasphemy started out with horrid binds.

Luckily, Arch Angels only had a 2 man advantage at most.

At the 8/10 minute mark, the war remained tight.

The war remained that way until 23 minute mark.

Blasphemy's binds were still weak.

Tanking [cabbage]ty.

Awareness..new topic.

 

Arch Angels mass snip'd to maintain a 3-4 man lead at 24-26 minute mark.

Blasphemy closes in at the 28th minute mark. with a 3 man swing.

Tied.

Arch Angels counters by dropping blasphemy , to gain another 3 man lead.

with 1 minute.

We pulled an unbelievable come back.

Tied 30-30.

The kind of ring you use it up to you. I use a lot of em: tactician, berserker, gatherer and artisan are all at tier 7. Also, desperado and blaster tier 5 for bosses that can't be meleed.

I mainly use Berserker when fighting a lot, gatherer when not (obviously artisan when smithing, but I switch back). Tactician when I really need accuracy.

The weapon you use depends on your ring choice: I use 2h + berserker (for the slash and crush aggressive attacks). If you want to use a melee ring, get rid of the spear and take something else. If you don't, keep the spear.

 

For fastest exp/h, split floors up into 2 group: lower and higher floors.

The lower floors: solo rush 1:1 small on complex 3

The higher floors: team rush 5:5 large on complex 6

 

I split floors like this: 1-29 and 30-(max). How you do it depends on your max floor and the people you dg with.

 

PS: If you want fish exp, you should fish in the lower floors too. You won't have to drop fish if you sell to smuggler.

The kind of ring IS up to you.

 

But if you want to be good, you should get Berserk ring/Desp

The others ring classes are optional.

Use prom 2hander.

For fastest floors

YOU 5:1 RUSH(3:1 rush is fine) on c1

Higher floors 5:5 large c6
