[need your experiences]

I am doing a cause-and-effect paper for my enc 091 class. My topic for this is "the effects of video-games on the mind" and I would like to know the various feelings that crop up from everyone here when they play them. I am especially looking for how you feel after your done after that particular session. Without further ado lets get to the questions.

 

 

 

How did you feel before you started playing? Any situations going on at the time that may affect your gameplay at that time?

How do you feel after that particular session? relaxed, more tense than before, paranoid?

This is how I got my range levels. 81 right now.

 

 

 

1-20 -goblins 2k-4k an hour

 

21-40 -dwarves- 3k-6k an hour

 

41- 62 -wizards in the wilderness- 9k-10k an hour

 

63-72 -white knights- 9k-12k an hour

 

72- onward- lesser demons- 15k-23k exp an hour

[Where do most of the f2p tipiters hang out?]

always can be found hanging out at world 15. I am usually at the lessers, fishing at either lumbridge or edgeville, or mining in the guild. Sometimes you can also find me merchanting in the various banks.

[Drop parties - do you have them?]

I have been hosting drop parties every Christmas since 2004. I always drop at least 10% of my gold and at least half of my items. In fact all my item gathering for the entire year leading up to christmas revolves around this one drop party.

 

 

 

hopefully this year I will be able to make 10 million so i will be able to give away at least 1 million.

9) Retirement Finally the amount of time played ingame daily drops- and the player finds himself bored with runescape. The community though- is an everlasting forum of change. The player may now spend a lot more time helping the community- rather than training his own character ingame. With his position as a leader, he can focus more on what he is leading. Some though, quit this job as leader just to take a break. And then soon the interest in the community will slowly fade- and he will post less and less often on forums.

 

 

 

 

 

Currently I am on this stage within the game. what I mean by this is that I am helping out new players far more often, people who regularly visit my homeworld will know me, and always willing to step in when players are about to be wronged in general.

 

 

 

I regularly read many different forums,though rarely posting, to see what is up with the world of runescape.

 

 

 

I guess there isn't much more I can say except that when I came back after a year absence I was back at stage one for a couple of days while gained my bearings back.

Ever since forgettign the password to one of my sccounts I haven't been in contact with him.

 

 

 

Anyone seen him? he usually hangs around karamja fishing tuna and swordfish. He is also a lvl3 skiller.

Died to a mugger in lumbridge on my first day here in runescape. Thought it was another player trying to kill me. I Do not believe they are there anymore though. I look back at it now and laugh. :wall: :lol:

 

 

 

For all those wondering if there were ever maples in non-members, yes there was. Was right by the mind altar before they took it away in November of 2004. Can't prove it because at the time I still didn't know how to take screenshots or have the sense/woodcutting to get any.

 

 

 

Oh and not to mention all the other little things I discovered but aren't there anymore.

world 15. It's where I hold all my holiday events. It's aslo the only world where I Offer my skills for free.

[how many arrows does it take to get to ranging lvl 99?]

starting from 72 range 20k bronze arrows got me almost 1.2 mil exp. So I would say for you about 80k-120k bronze arrows.

 

 

 

upgrading arrows decraeses the amount needed from the figure.

 

 

 

I am also assuming that you pick up each arrow after it is shot.

[wat does 1337 mean?]

"Leet" stands for Elite. Its commonly used by the hacker community.

[Why can't F2P have...?]

I have been playing since before they added that extra line of bankspace for Free to Play. But generally I agree with the bank statement as I am sure even Pay to Play has bank issues.

 

 

 

As for capes of achievement. Don't see why not. Just only make the ones currently possible to interact with accessible to us.
