I mean you're all telling me to get 99 magic, but that's not what I really need to know, but thanks for your opinions. What I really need is someone who strongly knows about magic, and can tell me the actual benefits of 94 + magic. Is it worth it when dueling? Also someone who can tell me about the 94 + spells, and how much/what runes to buy/use, etc. I am not making a new pure, I'm keeping it on my current account. Thanks :?:

Hey everyone, I recently have been dueling at the arena, my combat stats are in the 80s, and I won a lot, and with winning comes losing, so I lost mainly like a good 100 M at the dueling arena. Anyway, I don't really want to talk about that, but I was wondering something. I have enough cash to bring my 70s in magic up to 99 buy purchasing a ton, and I mean A TON of yew longs/nature runes. I have no problem getting to 99 magic seeing as I actually kind of want that 99 stat aside from the fact that I hear it's useful. If I were to get 99 magic, I would obviously be passing 94 magic, which would enable me to use certain spells which I hear are incredible. Now I'm not an n00b, seeing as I've been playing for a few years. I have mainly stuck to range and melee, and completely isolated myself from the magic area seeing as I didn't like to spend money on runes. Now from what I hear, magic "boxing" (94 + mages) who duel at the arena, make tons and tons of GP no matter what combat you are. So my question is, if I beat the appropriate quest for the barrage spells, and eventually finish alching up to 99 magic, will it be worth it at the dueling arena? Can someone give me a very detailed explanation on maging at the dueling arena, and if the magic at 94 + is actually worth it? But if I blow all my money, will I make it back eventually at the dueling arena?
