when i started there wasnt even a tutorial island, you could only choose if you wanted to become warrior, ranger, adventurer, miner, etc etc. i chose warrior \
i really liked the feeling of not really knowing where you were, it felt like runescape was much much bigger.

yes, I noticed this too. even between the genders some people look the same (atleast kimberly and kennith) but its all good to me, i dont mind.

I actually agree, I was all hyped up for this new graphical improvement, even subscribed again, but I prefer the older graphics, they are more, stylised.
However, I'm not complaining, since i really appreciate the new fullscreen stuff.
Btw, the lights are emitting some weird color, just doesnt feel right to me.

i think that it is some sort of a transparent color, much like white in gamemaker, it means that it isnt a specific color, just that you can blend any color onto it.

yeh jagex gives f2p 8 more bank banks sapces and then they go and give p2p another 64bank spaces as if they dont have enough alreadywhy does jagex have to go and give a new mebers-only skill. there is almost nothing new with f2p and they go and give more stuff to members. thank god that i just sent my members money or else i would go strangle someone :wall: :wall:I am fine that summoning is members only, F2P got duel arena, clan wars, more bank space. That is enough for me.
we do not infact, have enough already, its extremely easy to fill up ones bank. quit whining, listen to the other posters. you get what you pay for.

i totally agree with you, im actually being paranoid when i play runescape, people report me for everything, even when i dont even say anything.
what the hell is offensive about saying "i look like i am on drugs"? someone, please tell me, its not offensive, just funny.

i spent like a month in falador only mining and smithing, i thought it was an awesome city, so i never left it. i was afraid that i would never find it again.
same with al-kharid, i spent a very long time there killing warriors so i could afford some addy scimitar.
(it was back in the rsc days though.)

Naturally as humans, we are entitled to our opinion, whether other people like it or not. But even the right to freedom of speech is limited. Should peopleÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s opinion be limited? Should our opinions be like the right to freedom of speech and be limited to the extent of being offensive? I believe they should

A)How does one define offensive? Offensive to you? Offensive to me? In opposition to one's party?? Criticizing the actions of this party? IF the limiting of opinions(which is essentially the limiting for free speech) was allowed, corrupt politicians could twist it to suit their own means.
B)How do you plan to control these opinions? Mind-control? Unlike freedom of speech, opinions are essentially a mental element..

They could have done that, but how many players would they have left? Everyone needs to stop this 'OMG it could be much worse' crap. I (used to) pay 5 ÃÆââââ¬Ã¡Ãâì a month and I except a quality game for that. Saying that it could be much worse is like playing a game full of bugs and then saying it is still very good because it could have been something like Pakman.
I know people that spend $7.50 (roughly 5 euros) an hour playing packman at an arcade.

I love how people with little understanding of the actual issues go around telling people who have valid, logical problems with the updates to shut up or get out. Oh well, I guess the popular thing to do these days is bash anyone who rants about updates...
What I find is that the people ranting only look at the bad stuff that's happened. They dont look at the good stuff. Thus, ranting without paying much attention.
What im saying is alot of people only look at the bad aspects of the third reich and the holocaust! They don't look at the good stuff. Thus, they don't pay much attention to the whole matter.
A bit extreme perhaps, and I know these two CANNOT be compared, but seriously. If an update comes along and it is bad for the majority of players but it also comes with some SMALL good things, atleast I would prefer to remove the whole update.

I'm hopping on the wtf is wrong with you bandwagon. I wouldn't dare to be your friend, if it even drives you mad to see people who stand around in banks. There might be reasons for it you know! Like they talk to their friends, or wait, or check up on other sites, they might be cleaning up their banks, or looking for a good offer.

What he is saying is that anyone will have access to the forums, so anyone can just create a new char and lolspam away, because who cares if the new char gets banned. You know that some people spam just because they are bored. So forums open for f2p probably isn't a good idea, I know I would get tempted to create a new account and yell around and stuff.

Now thats a thought, but in the long run I think too many f2pers will be asking for fletching since they can make bowstrings and it will get out of hand.

I agree with you. But I think I am one of few that actually is glad to see that the wilderness has gone. Makes doing clues so much easier for me.
What are you talking about?? Doing clue scrolls have become impossibly hard with the revenants! They freeze you, teleblock you, poison you, and do what-not on you in like one hit! They easily hit 20-30 in every hit, you do not stand a chance if you're doing a clue scroll!

Now this isn't only about clue scrolls, dont forget the good 'ole ghostly robes, that many havent gotten yet. I seem to remember that you had to venture very far into the wilderness, and have a very long dialouge with each character. I'm lucky that I have already completed it, its gonna be impossible, specially if you don't want to miss the story by rapidly clicking the mouse button.
Update? I think not!
