I've been playing this character for about 2 weeks now, at roughly 2 hours a day. Hopefully firemaking will be my 1st 99 skill, if not crafting or fishing it shall be. I dont have much in my bank as i spend every gp i get on materials for skills. Here is the current materials i have to use up. The flax was given from a friends MTK, i sold some to buy the willows, the cow hides were bought across several f2p worlds in al khadrid for 100gp ea. I shall be spinning the flax, probably take me the next 6 months to do so, but then i will be selling the bowstrings and purchasing the logs for 99 firemaking :) So there i am, wish me luck/rate me, whichever you choose to do.
