Hey RuneMetsa!
I see you made a great design, but you spliced and used frames for the design :wall:
If you want, I can take your template and make it not only frameless, but also XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 2.1 validated. (HTML is sooo old)
Either way, I also emailed you in regards for a little job :P
-
Thank guys :D
-
I'm not sure which 'feeling' you want to deliver to the reader, what do you want to achieve by using this theme? ;)
I was thinking something along the lines of majestic and royal.
I prefer phpBB.I'm don't. :D
Personally I'm not a fan of the colours you chooseIf you are talking about the purple/red, I plan on making a second version of this skin, only using a similar shade of blue.
Keep it coming peoplez!
-
I can give you a 10 page long essay on why I chose IPB, and why I hate phpBB. But we'll save that for PM ;), if you're interested.
Either way, thanks for the feedback.

Sure, just to warn you, the images are not made 100%.
I am doing this on my test board, since my main one is closed down for a conversion.

Well, check it out:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/fina ... ected.html
Earlier today, the House of Representatives had a vote for the $700 billion bailout for Wall Street to help the economy, but it was shot down.
What are your opinions on this? I have a feeling the US is heading straight for a depression worse than that of the 1930s.
-
An easy change of hue/saturation to make the wolves match the rest of the image is just about all you need, in my opinion :o
But then it wouldn't be a true pixel sig, eh? ;)
-
It's definetally not your greatest work, but it's not bad either. The brown dog (the one thats more left than the other), could use a bit of cleaning up, it has a lot of jagged edges (Even fur isn't that jaggy).
Otherwise, great work! :
-
-
Sorry to say I kinda got to go. I might stop by once in a while, but you could tell from my inactiveness that I do not plan on making sigs for a while. Hope you guys understand.
It was great working with you. I learned lots about PDN from you guys!

I agree with Jopie.
Texture-you need to have more of different shades of brown in your sand, to make it look like its really a bunch of grains.
Saturated Colors- get away from the default colors
Also:
-The perspective seems messed up. There's little deminition in it (did I spell that right :XD: ) and it almost looks like the snake's tail is in the air. Remember that vanishing points can be very important in these kind of pixels.
-The camels are too large for being on the horizon (goes with above)
-the cactus's shading is a little off, make it go down a bit more.
Not bad for a first pixel, though!
-
It's plain, I don't like the text, and the C4D (whatever it is) seems to cut off too roughly. Add in some more things and make it pizzazy. Are you making it black and white?
Respond more later, got to go.

i want the second one, with the babe :D any font doesnt matter, pm me the link plz
What babe? That's his eye :uhh:
And that's his sig, not for giveaway.

Wrong forum...

I'm sure I'm not gonna win. And even if I do, I'm at a loss of what to do as a rank. Probably something with LofG. Good luck to everyone who entered!

I'm sorry, but machine translation sucks. I studied English-French translation at university, and I can tell you that auto translation simply does not work. You need a HUMAN to translate into another language. A machine translator simply can't interpret all the nuances, expressions and colloquialisms that a real person can.
And the sample screen shot of the French Translation of the main page? Awful.
Forget it.
If you are going to insult me atleast use your own words -.-

When you take holiday pictures and send them to relatives..send that one!
I love it!
-
Sadly, these are the only codes I currently know. I will see if I can get more.
-
You could do that too. Just copy the code, put in address bar, visit site, and then bookmark it!
-
I just realised you can change the language through the profile, but this is even better because it changes the langauge of posts as well.

How to View Tip.It in Other Languages!
Brought to you by Guthix121
Not that good at reading English? I will show you how to make shortcuts to Tip It or the Tip It Forums in another language! You don't even need a shortcut, just copy and paste the codes below into your address bar!
I hope Tip It admins find a way to use this for their website.
To make the shortcuts, go to Notpad, and copy and paste the following:
All you have to do is substitute the red with one of the codes below.
Once you do that, Files>Save As>Title it>SAVE AS .HTM
It must be .HTM to work.
Once you do that, go to the folder you saved it in:
Right Click>Send To>Desktop
And there you have it! Tip it in your native language! (I'm not French, just using French as an example.)
I have codes for 8 different languages:

If you want to go straight to the site without a shortcut, just copy an above code and paste it into your URL address bar.
Please tell me if there is anything wrong with the codes. And yes, I know that these codes will work with most sites (I tried RuneScape, didn't work...). Also, these are the ONLY possible codes. I do not think that there are more for other languages.
Note: This will not translate images, javascript, or other applications. It is meant only for text.

Thanks to Jordanweb for coming up with an even easier idea!
Just Right Click>New>Shortcut>Paste Code>Title It and you have it!

The same thing that happened to Rome in ancient times is going to happen to the US. The US is too powerful, and it's power will be it's downfall.
