[hide=Introduction] Hi everyone and welcome to my first RS Journal. Sorry for the lack of pictures but I never thought of making a blog before so there is not any level up pictures, just stats =P. Ranger Id is my 4th account in RS and it is my one and only pure. I have never been member on this account before and I am very proud of its stats, though they are not perfect yet. I do have mains but I do not play them much anymore. I am putting all my effort into making this account now. Ranger IdÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s was made about a year and half ago but I have only been playing on him officially for a year. There as a period of 6 months when RS stopped working on my computer all of a sudden. >_< The reason I will probably be keeping Ranger Id F2P forever is because my parents wonÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t pay and I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want to pay by cash through mail. The reason my parents wonÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t pay for RS is because the last time they payed for it on my mains I got so addicted I didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t do anything else. It kind of sucks because I am dying to get the skill cape. [/hide] [hide=Goals] My goals are simple: make the best F2P Pure possible. I know a lot about F2P pures and I know what their perfect stats are. Bare with me that you might not agree with the stats I am aiming for and I respect that, but they are the best in F2P IN MY OPINION. [you can disagree all you want, but try not to flame too much xD] Stats I am getting: 50 Attack - DONE 99 Strength-Currently working on. 40 Defense - DONE 45 Prayer 99 Ranged - DONE 80 Mage - DONE 96 Hitpoints COMBAT LEVEL: 87 As you can see from the calculator above from Tip.it, those stats are the max for 99 Ranged and 99 Strength at 87 combat. At combat level 86 I am range based and even though the calculator says I am melee based, I leveled from level 86-87 from hitpoints. Those are my final stats for Ranger Id. As for raising magic, I have no plans at the moment to raise it. I will be F2P and mage is quite useless. Some say it maybe be good for mage defense, but 80 mage is already quite high in F2P and since I will be ranging with Dragonhide, I wonÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get hit much anyways. After 99 strength, I am sure I will be sick of training.[/hide] [hide=Progress] Sorry I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have any screen shots for my ranged level up because I never thought of making a blog I am a bit too lazy to bother. I trained my ranged from 40-99 ALL AT LESSER DEMONS in F2P using mainly addy arrows. I achieved 99 ranged on January 4th, 2008. I plan on training my strength to 99 at Flesh Crawlers all the way. I will be staying there for a long time and I got friends who bring food to me so I never have to leave xD [special thanks to Magelegacy who does it for me!] She used to bring me lobsters but since the trade limit it is no longer manageable so I am using Kebabs instead. =D I will be making screen shots and adding dates for my level ups from now on the best I can. Kind of my starting stats training strength at Flesh Crawlers: 84 Strength on January 12th, 2008! 91 Hitpoints on January 15th, 2008! 85 Strength on January 15th, 2008! 30-40 str wont even kill a lv40. People for some reason begin to create "Def pure" I am gona say this once "DEF PURES DO NOT WORK" If you want to own , you need to INFLICT DAMAGE!!!!! Not decrease the amount of chance you get hit!!!!!!

Hey Asphyxius, I have a pure rune ranger which has 99 ranged. Check out my maxed out range pure thread in this sec. It got 84 str now. I own 80% of the lvl 80-90s i fight and i win 97% of the no armor fites at 99 ranged. I would recommend HIGH HP. HIgh HP is very crucial to dueling as HP is everything. You wuld want High range and Mage NOT ALCHING since you will need to HP from Magic. I find that Strength does not do well in staking adn that Rangers own the best due to high accuracy and overall faster attacks. Range will attack 3 times when scimmy attacks twice. I know i am a bit biased to ranged but this is true from my experience dueling. In conclusion i would recommend you make a 1defense-40def RANGER, sort of like the one I have. I can win 75% of the fites between lvl 80-90 and win 50% of fight between lvl 90-100.

i dont mage pk either....but in f2p the hi mage can help from 5 mages k0ing u. that y mage is useful.... i say get 99 str and then 90 mage.....dont owrry bout def, as u would kill 2 fast to get hit. You should get little hier att so u can hit wit 2h first time sorry im new to the forums.....dont no how 2 qoute I dont see ANY mages and i dont plan to go to bh. I plan on waiting for the singel version of it so it's one on one fight. I dont think i wil get any mage cuz after i get 99 ranged, i be probably too bored to train anymore. I trained at lesser demons from 40-99 ranged =) using addy arrows. I averaged around 30kxp an hour. Doesn't that cost alot? :shock: I would go for miths, 'cause I'm not that rich :P Hehe, yeah did cost quite a bit. i bought them for 110-125 ea.

I always thought people misunderstood the use of pures. when u make a "Pure" you do it for the sake of owning someone, not for making moneys, sure, a lot of the pures on youtube are rich, but the truth is, 90% of the average pure DO NOT make a lot of money, instead, they have a negative drain on their "mains." Before the 3k limit on dueling, stakers were a great way of making money, but PKers or Pures, generally are not that great or fast sources of money. If you want to make money, i suggest you merchant or skills, that is what skillers are for now. With the G.E. and the trade cap, merchanting is harder than ever. You will make a more steady income of money instead of PKing and relying 100% on player kills, which can be quite inconsistent at times.

Yes its all f2p at the moment and i think i mite have to stay f2p for ever and get 99 str at flesh crawlers. =( 99 HP was a bit ambitious and i dont think i will go for it. i wil stick to my original plan for now. As for magic, its completely useless in f2p and i regret gettin higher than 37 magic lol, considering i nevver mage pked once. I range all the way.

Thanks for the advice. I will get 99 hp too by maging or doing more ranging. [i hate trainig melee =(] I dont go to bounty since too many clans there and they kill me too fast. I am, however, looking forward to the 1-v-1 bounty that jagex has promised to be relaseed in "The early half of 2008" I will keep atk at 50 for now and see how well it goes after the new 1-v-1 bounty comes out.

thanks guys, 99 str and 50 atk puts me at lv 87 cuz i wuld end up with 95 hp. but i think i will stay 50 atk now cuz i dont think i will be gettin members anytimes soon and i dont like bh that much cuz too much clans ther. thanks to anyone that helped
