  1. Yes, this has all been useful cheers. What determines a failed cast anyway (is it because of wearing magic-lowering items e.g armor?) And why should it be failed casting, not "successful" casting?
  2. Ok thanks, but I'm not exactly sure what this 'cursing' is, can you do it in f2p? EDIT: I know what cursing is now, it does look more cheaper than buying chaos runes, thanks guys. Anything else that may be useful?
  3. Hello, new to the forums here, seems like an interesting mix of people here on the forums. Ok, basically this is my plan in leveling a couple of stats in the next few weeks. I've used the tipIT skill calculators, have have deduced the following info. Feel free to add any ideas of tips that may be of useful help. Current mining level: 53 Current smithing level: 41 Current magic level: 31 Ok, so I will mine 1500 iron (already done 600), as well as 3000 coal (only done 300 so far), to make 1.5k steel bars (I will be level 48 smithing by then). Now, I will sell 960 of these bars to make $575k @ 600gp per bar. This money will be used to buy 5000 chaos runes @ 100gp each (for $500k), and 10k air runes @ 15gp each for $75k (for a total of $575k or thereabouts). These runes will be used to level me up from level 31 to level 55 (according to the calc), using earth bolt, so that I can use High-Alch. Then with the remaining 540 steel bars I will smith into 108 steel plates where I can then high alch them @ 1.2k each to make a total of $129.6k. I know this sounds a little confusing, but hopefully it makes some sort of logical sense. Thanks, omgwtfnoob - (the ultimate clicḫ̩̉̉ name 8-) )
