  2. I almost went with Nvidia... the MSI Geforce GTX 760 OC version but I lucked out on a brand new Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 GHz edition (windforce cooling with the 3 fans) for $306 CA on ebay. Retail price at Newegg.ca is $430 CA so I saved over $100! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=141013320455 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125413 The only downside is I don't get the free copy of games (Far Cry Blood Dragon, Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite), but that's okay because I only want Crysis 3 and I can buy it for $30 right now. I might pick up Fary Cry Blood Dragon when it goes on sale for like $10 someday.
  3. The last part I need for my new PC build is the GPU. I think it's the most important part and that's why I've saved it for last. I can't decide between the GTX 770 OC or 7970 GHz edition. Both are around the same price range ($350-400). These are the ones I'm looking at right now: Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 (OC): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125463 AMD Radeon HD 7970 (GHz ed.): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125439 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202001 Specs are shown on the details page. Here is my build thus far: Intel Core i5-4670K MSI Z87-G45 Gaming MOBO 8GB DDR3 2133MHz RAM 1TB HD 64GB SSD OCZ Fatal1ty 750W PSU (80+ Bronze) Full Tower ATX Case Corsair Hydro Series 100i Liquid Cooler DVD 24x Burner I'd also consider saving some money and going with a lower model GTX 760 (OC) for $260, which might be a better option for the type of gaming I'll be doing. I'm a casual gamer and will play the following games: Runescape 3 Guild Wars 2 Diablo 3 BF3 CoD ghost Crysis 3 Far Cry 3 Fry Cry Blood Dragon Quake 4 Medal of Honor series Thanks in advance for your input and opinions!
  4. The gray text was from before the tip.it forums was revamped and redesigned. The background was white before.
  5. Quick find code: 24-25-99-56703383 Number of supporters: 86 I only count supporters who precisely say a phrase in relation to "I support", and any phrases such as "Oh, very nice idea" do not get counted as a supporter. Therefore, if you are interested in supporting this idea make sure to include the word support and I will be sure to include your name on the list, and make sure it's on the RuneScape Forums ________________________________________________________________________ July 4th in United States of America or July 1st in Canada are a good example of days that display spectacular fireworks. Do you know of the fireworks that when blasted in the sky show certain shapes, patterns, and colors, more so the particular shapes. Well, I just thought of this neat idea that could and should replace the current display of fireworks when advancing levels in RuneScape. Currently, the display for fireworks are quite normal and plain. Why not have the display a shape, such as related to its skill that the level was advanced in. For instance, if one grew a herblore level, the display of the fireworks could show and form in the shape of a green herb of some sort.
  6. To be honest, if everyone used this in world 1 or 2 there would be less frequent messages than the people who are using downloaded auto-talkers because the ones that are downloaded can have a time restriction as low as 1 second! This would for sure have one above 8 seconds. See the difference? 1 second .. 8 seconds. Although it will be a lot slower, you won't have to type the message over and over again. You can if you want, though.
  7. Thanks nitram99! Pros: [*:1bnyess9]It would eliminate the purpose of downloading third party auto-talker programs that may be harmful to that individual, since this feature would already be implanted into the game. It would counter-act the need for downloading those such programs, which may contain key-loggers that will steal your account. [*:1bnyess9]It would help players in regards to selling items so that they will not have to retype he same message over and over again, which becomes very annoying and irritating after a while. [*:1bnyess9]The individual will type messages that are error-free (if that is they spell it correctly in the auto-talk box) oppose to someone typing a message over and over again consistently making mistakes. [*:1bnyess9]Everyone will have access to it. Players don't have to use it if they don't want to. They can use the normal chat system if they feel they can type faster. [*:1bnyess9]It's not fully automatic (not a start and pause concept). You have to click enter yourself to say the message each time. This will cut back a lot on the spamming so noobs won't just leave it running on all day. [*:1bnyess9]It cannot be abused as much as the normal chat system can be since there is a time restriction. Someone can type "noob you stink!" repeatedly quicker than in the auto-talk. You can only say "noob you stink!" every 7-10 seconds (depending on the time restriction) and you could probably say that message every 3 seconds in the chat box. [*:1bnyess9]Helps say long message like "Buy all ranarr/snapdragon/kwuam/lantadyme seeds - Splinter" every 7-10 seconds oppose to typing it over and over and over again. I like the idea of that! Don't you? [*:1bnyess9]You should be allowed to report anyone who abuses this feature, such as constantly spamming, which should be a bannable offense. Cons: [*:1bnyess9]10 year old nubs will constantly spam "a@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@" every 7-10 seconds (which should be reported for - big deal anyways - these people could actually spam quicker in the chat box than in the auto-talk feature). [*:1bnyess9]Level 3 players will use it for advertising (but they have to click enter themselves since it's not fully automatic).
  8. There's nothing forcing you to use the auto-talk feature. If players want to use the normal chat system then they are more than welcome to do so.
  9. In what ways? Spamming? 7-8 seconds would be a legitimate time restriction and would be very convenient for the much longer message. Also, people can abuse the normal chat box than they could with the auto-talk feature. Remember it's not stop and pause concept, so you can't just let it run all day and keep your account logged in. It's manual in the sense that you have to click enter each time, but you don't have to type the message each time or over and over again. I just thought it would be useful to some players. You don't have to use the auto-talk feature for just short sentences when selling, etc. I would just use the normal chat back considering it would be faster, but for the longer message like: Open: 2k and rune essence back - a matt tress or Buying all fire, air, earth, mind, and death runes - matt Typing message like the above can be kind of hard on your fingers, in my opinion. I wouldn't mind waiting for a 7-10 second delay each time.
  10. Built in RuneScape Auto-Talker Eliminate the Possibility of Downloaded Key-Loggers, Viruses & Trojans Are your fingers aching after a long day's worth of typing constant messages? To afraid of downloading a separate piece of software that auto-talks for you, which may very well contain a key-logger, virus, or trojan and put you at risk of jeopardizing your account status by violating the rules. Why doesn't Jagex just build and design one of their own? This would prevent the risks, and keep people's account and computers safe. It would also be much more convenient and would no longer be a violation to the rules. I have designed a mock version, in which how it could be set up. I do understand that there are several ways you could set it up, but I am just sticking with one way I liked best. Inactive: So here is the current presence of the auto-talk feature in an inactive form, which is indicated by the gray star. Once the individual clicks inside the box it will turn blue and function the same way it does on the normal chat box. Also, the auto-talk feature can be turned on and off in the tools menu. Active: So here is the current presence of the auto-talk feature in an active form. The chat box then becomes inactive, upon being active once clicked again. Same rules apply for the auto-talk feature as the chat box has. You can only type so many words in a message. You can either hit the enter keystroke on your keyboard or hit the enter button beside the auto-talk box; they will both perform the same function. Key concept: The message will remain in the auto-talk box, unlike the chat box, which disappears after entered. You can keep clicking enter to say that same message without having to type it over again (auto-talk, duh..). However, there is a time restriction to prevent spamming. What might that time be set to? That would be up to Jagex if they took this suggestion into consideration. Pros: [*:1gh8a7hu]It would eliminate the purpose of downloading third party auto-talker programs that may be harmful to that individual, since this feature would already be implanted into the game.
