  1. WOW! that's great news for my guide. That halfens the cost of the guide! revamping. Comments are appreciated!
  2. The guide has been totally revamped. check it out! \
  3. Yes, this is why i mentioned "not including butler" at the end of all sections. I am in the process of TOTALLY revamping my guide. 2nd page WOOT!
  4. yeah, but who needs 99 mining? :? There are some great guides on moneymaking here on tip.it, so look around. ah yes, now the flaws come in, okay, here's my response. Promise: Well, 50k exp isn't that bad for cost effectiveness, and who said it'll be fast, it's still A LOT cheaper. in response to the time of acquiring bricks: well, you don't necessarily need to buy them all from him, you could hire workers to mine and chisel limestone for you, for a bit faster, or you could buy from other players. the forums are good for this. now for exp per hour Ah, theres my miscalculation! Now then, 50k exp per hour is decent for the amount saved, and 255 hours/3 hours a day (average) = 85 days. thats about 2-3 months of dedicated building. not bad for the 6M saved. Now with the limestone aquiring math... get a friend, and make sure he has 26 bricks. your inv. money, noted bricks, unnoted bricks. his/her inv. noted bricks, unnoted bricks. you walk halfway, they walk halfway, trade noted for unnoted. now you go buy more, he banks. shaves time in half for those with friends. that's maybe "5.5 days of straight playing" or about a month and a half at 3 hours a day. that totals about 3-4 months of construction. seems long, but hey, it's 99! thats not in your guide, either way...i dont think you should burden your friends with a large task like that. My rate stands. And I Respect that. I did my research to see what the absolute cheapest way to 99 construction was, and I created a guide solidly on limestone bricks. I Am simply proposing an alternative to the much more expensive oak and teak plank method. That's brilliant. 1k essence will craft 1k nats, and that costs 500k. I assume you meant 1K ess as an example, so i think that's a great idea. I am most certainly NOT offended by any comments about my guide. (well... unless they start becoming flames) No problem : Altogether, at a point, Oak planks ARE more effective. Personally, i would use them myself. judging by my ratings and comments, my guide to level 60 is decent, but 60+ is not. I am going to use my own methods until about 65-75, and then go onward with oak. Reponses are great people, thanks.

  6. WOW! if there was ever a response i could of hoped for, it was this. Thank you! In response: acquiring bricks: well, assuming you have a good friend, you could run bricks with them, as in buy bricks, give to him, he trades noted, etc. EXP per hour: (EDIT: this was a miscalculation, promise got it)
  7. It's those small emotes that make you feel like you did something good. thanks!

Here you will learn the ins and outs of Construction training. Are you dirt poor, wanting some 100% free exp? Do you think 100 Million GP is too much to spend on a skill? Or do you have a ton of money, wanting the fastest Exp for a reasonable amount of money? Whoever you are, you can level up here! 1.1 Basic information Construction is a very heavily suggested skill, and after a long wait, Jagex released this skill, to the delight of the runescape members. After a week or so, people died down, depressed that the skill was so expensive. Some players, like monkey mojeo, reached 99 within a week. Others couldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t afford level 60. I did research, so when I came out of runescape retirement, I could enjoy my favorite skill. This guide is what I came up with. 1.2 What you need You do not need much for this guide. There are four methods in this guide, so IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll give the requirements separately. For the 5K GP way: 5k GP A Hammer A Saw A Pickaxe A chisel For the Cheap way: About 17M A hammer A Saw Access to the stonemason in keldagrim. A Buddy* A crystal saw* For the Speedspend way: About 60M or A Hammer A Saw An axe` A crystal saw* A buddy* For My way About 50M A hammer A saw Access to the stonemason in kelgarim ThatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s about it. * Optional ` Only if youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re cutting your own logs 1.3 Math There are many mathematical points to be made. One important point is EXP per GP. For example. In this guide, the main items are youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re using are oak planks and limestone bricks. Limestone costs 26 each, and gives 20 exp. 26/20=1.3 GP per EXP Oak planks cost 250 each to make logs-planks. And give 60 exp. 250/60=4.16ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ GP per Exp Oak planks cost 400 each street price. And give 60 exp. 400/60=6.66ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ GP per Exp Therefore limestone bricks are about a quarter as expensive as planks, and one sixth the price on the street. However, oak is faster. The power leveling heart is: Oak larders (2K each) You can make 12 in a minute, meaning 5760 Exp per minute 5260 Exp in a minute means about 345.6K Exp per hour (!) minus whatever slows you down. Attack stones (260 each) You can make 12 in a minute, meaning 2400 Exp per minute, or 144k per hour, minus whatever slows you down. So oak is much faster, but much more expensive. 2.0 The 5K GP way This is the guide for the dirt poor, single minded, hard, and determined to do it without spending weeks getting funds. I do not recommend this option, but try it if you want. 2.1 To level 5 To start youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re brutally long journey to 99 construction, build two wooden chairs a rug and torn curtains, and a bookcase, level 5, yay. 2.2 99 mining and 99 construction From level 5 to 99, youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll be mining. A lot. YouÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll need to run, run, run to the limestone, mine, mine, mine the stone, chisel, chisel, chisel the ore, and bank, bank, bank the bricks. Keep doing this, and then build decorative rocks until you go crazy, at level 99. Keep in mind; you WILL get level 99 mining in the process, so good luck. 2.3 Pros and Cons Pros: Practically free! Cons: You WILL go crazy 3.0 The Cheap way This involves buying bricks at the mason, then building with them. Simple, faster then the 5K method, and cheap in terms of construction 3.1 To level 5 To begin, build 2 chairs, a rug, curtains and a bookcase. 3.2 Level 5-59 Spend as much money as you can on bricks, and go to your house. Build a garden (1K) and start building and removing decorative rocks. They cost 5 bricks, and give 100 exp. which can add up fast. Assuming you carry a hammer, a saw, bricks, and a house teleport after that, you should become level 8 after one load. Repeat this process for about 25 loads. You will then be level 30. Hooray. Now you can get the first servant worth getting, the cook. She takes a bit more cash, but increases you speed considerably. Go to your house with some cash, supplies for a bell pull, and bricks, saw and hammer. Build TWO bedrooms, and then build a bell pull. Now hire the cook in the servantÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s guild. Now you are in business. Summon your servant, and promptly build your decorative rocks until you run out. Speak to your servant, and demand more bricks. SheÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll bring them, and keep telling her to get more until you're full. Now tell her to get more, and build rocks while you're waiting. SheÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll come back, and give you bricks. Tell her to get more. Continue this until you are level 59. It makes sense to get a butler on the way. 3.3 Level 59-99 Hooray, you are almost level 60. Oak larders have nothing on you! Okay, now that that's over with, onto the guide. Now build a games room. Fun! Now stop making those nooby rocks. You can now build limestone attack stones. More bricks = faster EXP. Keep building stone attack stones. They provide the fastest EXP of limestone items. You will need to build 63804 to finally get 99. Good luck, and take a break, this will take a while. 3.4 Pros and cons II Pros: a third as cheap as the oak method! Faster then the 5K method. Cons: Still slow 4.0 The Speedspend way This is ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâtheÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ way to level up if you are loaded. Seriously. This is fast, effective, and EXPENSIVE. If you have 100M to spare, look here. 4.1 To level 5 again like always, Two chairs, a rug, curtains and a bookcase. there really no alternative. 4.2 Levels 5ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ33 Like usual, buy and build decorative rocks. However, do this only to 33, not 60. it will take 35 loads of bricks to accomplish your goal. 4.3 Levels 33-75 Okay, now it becomes fast, furious, andÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ not cheap. Now you can make oak larders. Yes, oak larders! Not again! Make 2481 larders for level 75. That is 794 loads. Plug in your ipod for this. 4.4 Levels 75-99 Oak doors! Doors are your god from now to 99. Make, remove, make, and remove. YouÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll need to make 19,707 doors. that's 197,070 planks and 7885 loads. Enjoy. 4.5 Pros and Cons III Pros: Mega fast! Cons: Way expensive! 5.0 MeefaleafÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s way This is the way I personally will get to 99 construction. ItÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s an intertwining of the guides. 5.1 To level 5 No contradicting here. Build two crude chairs, a rug, some torn curtains, and a bookcase. Welcome to level 5 5.2 Level 5-59 Just like in the cheap way, make and remove decorative rocks until level 59 5.3 Level 60-75 Again, like the cheap way, make attack stones. Make 4684 of them. 5.4 Level 75-99 This is the meat, so build and remove 19,707 doors until 99. remember, 7885 loads. 5.5 Pros and cons IV Pros: Not too slow, not too expensive. Cons: not as fast as speedspend, or cheap as the cheap way. 6.0 In the endÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ Get that skill cape yet? Keep trying, so you can show off and say ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅHa!ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
