The majority of resources in Runescape come from macroers and thst is the reason inflation is not a problem.

The title says it all really, I'm a level 39 in full addy yet I can't 10 consecutive Hill Giants because they somehow managed to hit about 5hp four times in a row. :wall:
They're way too strong to be level 28!

I do agree with some of your points, their joining with miniclip has fuelled the inflow of immature little brats, they could do better when it comes to bots and the customer support is a joke.

all i know is jagex really really seems to like puns in quests. like really really like puns. like every quest has like 5 or 6 puns.

The only way I can see the Bot/Macro epidemic coming to an end is if the market dries up... In other words, the problem is so vast that nothing can stop it, short of RS closing down, which I predict it will in another two or so years.
Off Topic - What makes you think that?
On Topic - Runescapes economy would not die if there were no bots, as other people have mentioned people would simply get the resources themselves. And also, the game was designed to work without bots!

There should seriously be a new kind of mod that can go round banning macroers on the spot, Jagex has way too much red tape to fight though when it comes to banning accounts
