I haven't played many. Only 4, to be precise. Many suffer from bad pacing or too little choices. I like Saya no Uta, though. FSN was kinda meh, too over-rated, has bad pacing, and the writing is pants on head retarded some times, but it has it's moments. It just doesn't merit being as long as it is (roughly as long as the LOTR trilogy). I'm off to bed.

They are quite similar. Mushishi is a bit more calm and Mononoke is way more artsy and mindblowing.
