  1. 2 more str bonus will not make the biggest diff in the world. maybe 45.
  2. Lowgravity, you're case is a very rare one and i can assure you that most young adults (thats what their called now ) that play this game, mostly play because they want to and not because they dont have anything better to do ;) If you think of it, out of the 500,000 ppl that play this game, think of the amount of teenagers, then ask urself, how many of them could possibly be ill? You my friend are one of them, but just because you are one in probably one tenth of the population (thats just my assumption as there's no proper way of distinguishing (sp?) them from any other. Im happy this game has helped you co-operate with ur problems in life, but some ppl play this game just for the fun of it and do it even if they have better things to do, respect them as well as ur elders because since you told me about ur problem, you too are somebody to be respected ;)
  3. Jagex wants free to be boring but the game to be addictive. So by putting it together, they make you want to pay for more
  4. Well... unlike most miners, im not rune mining just for the ores. Even if i was p2p i wouldnt mine there becoz: a) I like pking while mining, yes, miners and pkers alike. B) Black dragons scare the shizzang out of me :? Im f2p and if you're timings right you can get plenty of ores lol. I had 12 hops today... 9 of them had ores.. 18 ores in 12 world hops... 30 mins. Not bad considering you just made 200k nearly in half an hour. Already mined 50 today and went to train a lil :D
  5. For all you guys who think that f2p dont deserve it becoz they get extra advantages if they dont pay, you probably are. But this is a good marketing gimmick, it wont give the f2pers enough time to do all the quests or train a member skill very high but just to give an idea. Contrary to the popular idea that f2pers will overflow p2p, well, thats what jagex wants in the end, they want all f2pers to become p2p (by paying) As a company, they want ppl to pay, so live with it. I can see more f2pers becoming p2p soon, you cant stop it because you say so lol.
  6. the price of a rare throughout rs isnt going to change becoz a 10 year old with an autotype is spamming rs giving away fake info. If they actually listen to a lvl 3 for advice on how expensive a santa is, shows they dont deserve to have a santa lol. And as far as the 'true' point of the game goes, there is none. If somebody got 99 in all skills, still doesnt mean they've finished the game because that's not even close to all the achievements you can accomplish. Think money, kills, total xp, skill xp, the list goes on... Best pker, staker, rcer, herblorist, smither, mage, ranger, first 99 slayer (h), on and on.... So all of these aren't goals in the game? The whole game is a journey to be the best, its not about the goal, its about the journey that counts. The game is the journey, the goal is only an incentive for you to go through with the journey.
  7. Guards wear chain armour, its defense being effective against crush, his att was probably low and to top it all of, the maul is very inaffective as a training weapon.
  8. erm.... the high prices actually help it balance more  Think about it, if everybody could afford the whip, whats the use of using drag weapons  Use your common sense a little more lolz...
  9. Agreed. Rares don't go up in price because of merchants, on the contrary, if you are willing to pay 15 mil for a purple phat, that is a choice you make, that's not the merchant's choice. There are the rare exceptions when merchants overprice rares, they don't often go very fast but those are only rare exceptions. Since these artifacts are considered 'rare', more people want them, the increased amount of scapers, the more people who want the rare, and the more people are willing to pay for them. Merchants only follow the trend, for it is infact people who actually desire to have rares for themselves that raise the price. Katsuro get your facts straight plz? Merchanting is boring, (atleast to me) but it does involve actually using ur brain other than just sitting at your chair and clicking on a bunch of monsters forever. For some people, merchanting is more of a challenge than just mindless clicking
  10. check if they have anything slightly higher than 128 mb ram... u may need a bit more if ur gonna use a lot of programs. especially xp, its a memory haul.
