  1. A Note Don't flame or spam on this thread and i do not condone or support Rule Breaking in any way or form, this is simply a thread to give the Tip.It members, a better view of rule breakers. The Rule Breaking Community Now you've all seem them, rule breakers, they coined the term "Rules are made to be broken" These days they are a huge part of the runescape community, but they are also part of there own community. Hundreds of rule breakers gather in a certain place (Which i will not name) making programs for macroing and also selling macros and swapping accounts. I've seen people on this forum talking about macros being detected and scammers being pathetic, but the real truth is that they are a minority, there are HUGE groups of people, as big as the Tip.It community, all talking with each other and sharing ideas, this is the Rule Breaking Community. Macros We'll start with the biggest issue, Macros. Every morning you'll log in and see the 20 or so macros at a tree then sigh thinking "Why can't they stop using those" People these days think "Jagex Is Doing a great job, detecting macros with there...Un-Named detection program which we've never seen or been told about, yet have taken there word that they are doing it" Whats wrong with this picture? People these days understimate Macroers, thinking there simple colour clickers or small scripts running. Wrong, Macroers these days use a scripting language called SCARSCRIPT to make massive scripts to do many things, these scripts are sometimes sold for runescape gold on some of the bigger communitys. They insert this script into a program i will not name, and the macros go to work. Now my main point about this being related to jagex saying they have a program to detect macros is, the program is Un-Detectable It has been tested, and the only way jagex could find out is if they macroed for more than 6 hours at a time, and after finding that out, the larger communitys spread the news, and now it can be used freely and safely. Obviously, jagex is not doing such a good job as it should. Account Trading The second biggest problem, yes you may see level 33 "Roxorpker11" selling his account for 3 k, but it is actually on a much larger scale. for instance, in the Rule Breaking Community, i have recently seen some one selling the accounts "Pig" and "Sky" for 1.2 MILLION GOLD EACH Also, there are nearly 100 level 120+ sold everyday and even more level 100+. So the problem is obviously a much bigger problem than we thought, i have looked through a few sellers and i will make a completely random and Un-Educated guess that nearly 300 Million gold is made every day from Account trading, Obviously the 300 million is all made by different people, not a single person earning it all in a day.(Felt the need to clarify) It gets bigger, we've all seen those "Rare names" like "Lumbridge" or "A" I see those too, being sold for such prices as 10 MILLION each, this is a fact and is not an estimation or Educated guess, it is a FACT that i have seen with my own eyes. The problem is bigger than you think Offensive Language A new problem has came up, quite recently actually, an alt code has been spread that lets you swear and By-Pass The Censor, thus it has become a bigger problem recently, but still not bad enough to be note worthy. Account sharing Practically unheard of, right? Wrong Account sharing is a huge problem these days, the most common is "Firecaping" People let others onto there account to gain them the famed "Fire Cape" from Tzhaar. There is also people sharing accounts for levels, quests, even just items. It is a common but underground problem that most people don't notice. Bug-Abuse While Nearly Non-Existant now it has caused huge problems in the past, The great party hat dupe. Obviously this no longer works, another example is the durial massacre, but i wont go into that since its not a history lesson, but if you want to you can go to http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... erview.htm But this is all in the past, so all we can do is wait and see if another game breaking bug comes up. I'm sure you're thinking, how does this relate to the Rule Breaking Community? Well some times a large or small group of rule breakers, may it be 2 or even 50 people, do absurd things to find bugs, they trade party hats or other items, put stuff on tables, eat certain items at certain times, run at certain walls, and move there camera to a certain viewpoint, this may sound silly to you, but this is how most bugs are found, by doing something random by accident. These are all the real things that are in the Rule Breaking Community all of the other ways to break rules are really done by hit and run level 3 scammers, thanks for reading I would give you an example of a site but it seems i am not allowed to, you may PM me for it if you want. I don't want to be called a cheater or have a flame war start in this thread, this is simply to show you all that the problem is bigger than you think, and this is not a rant.
  2. True...But what about the people that know they don't need sleep, yet are still up at times which people might consider "Late"?
  3. I always see people being called "No-Lifers" or "Nerds" but what makes them No-lifers? Staying online until way into the night, or playing all night and day, many people called n0valyfe a nerd, because he played around 14 hours a day (Correct me if i'm wrong) but really, we're comparing these people to our own sleeping patterns and times, every one is different, unique, so every one has different sleeping patterns and times. Maby Bob can't go on without atleast 8 hours of sleep, but maby Jim can stay awake all night, and still not feel tired in the morning, Bob will call Jim a No-Lifer, but Bob makes this assumption by comparing the times Jim can play on runescape, to his own. But surely no one can go on for a certain time, it must get boring! The answer to this is the same as the above, some people will find something more fun than other people, and thus do it longer. (In this case, playing Runescape) So when we Call some one a No-lifer, are they really no lifers? or just people who can stay awake longer than us, and find things more fun than we do? Dicuss, are the people we're calling No-Lifers or Addicts, really those? or are we just comparing them to our own patterns? P.S Now this isn't a rant about being called a No-Lifer or a Nerd, just a discussion. Another P.S Also, what i've just said doesn't count for every one, i KNOW there is some sort of limit which is when you reach addiction, but most people who are called No-Lifers, aren't even close.
