I didnt take denath's signil after he falls into the red pit thing, and i logged out and when i logged back in it was gone. Is there any way i can get it back? Will i have to make one?(this is during the Shadow of the Storm quest)

I'm at the part of the shadow of the storm quest where you have to get the eight people to use the signils(spelling), because some of the people walk out on you.(one guy gets crushed, a girl gets kill by ghosts, that part). I didnt take Delnaths signil and I logged out and when i logged back in it was gone. Any idea about what I should do?
