  1. Grr, it annoys me so much that i don't have the tv channel that airs most of the Serie A matches, have got one and thankfully managed to watch some of the football between Fiorentina - Lazio.

Hopefully i can catch some online streams of Lazio and some Juventus matches, but i mostly just find Inter and Milan games there.

Positive thing is that i've gotten up the eye for Ligue 1. I must say, i rather watch Ligue 1 than La Liga. They really have to get a grip on the tv-deals, Real and Barca are killing the league to the point where it's not interesting.

Valencia, Atletico, Sevilla... These aren't small clubs, but when you look to the income from tv and compare it with the two big guns... It's just hilarious and sad at the same time.

Serie A is being [bleep]ed by all the idiotic rules that are slowly choking it, i agree. But i find it funny when these guys on the 'Sunday Supplement' show say there's no passion or noise at the stadiums. They can't have seen football from San Paolo... That's for sure.

I don't know, i'm just rambling on here.

I agree on La Liga, it is amazing at times watching Barcelona and Real Madrid play, but you pretty much know the outcome of most of their games before they've begun.

I don't follow Seria A or Ligue 1 very closely, but usually enjoy the games I see of them. I like the Bundesliga, and I watched a fair few Borussia Dortmund games last season.

  2. If i was a rich man, there'd be so many teams i'd like to watch live.

I have to do a trip to South America someday, i especially want to see River Plate.

Same, many teams I'd love to see.

Looking forward to Liverpool vs Everton today, can never predict how derbies will turn out

  3. Another loss. Tottenham 4-0 Liverpool, biggest league loss for something like 8 years. Sickening, and it was an absolutely abysmal display. Forget refereeing decisions, when we can't even pass the ball forwards and look like conceding every time the opposition attack then there are bigger problems than referees.

Pretty much no positives, Lucas and Enrique at least tried hard though made several mistakes, and I don't think Coates can really be blamed.

Many weren't up to scratch today, and though it pains me to say it, I include Dalglish in that. As much as I think he is fantastic, and usually great tactics-wise, today we were set out 100% wrong. However, this wasn't helped by poor performances all over the pitch, particularly Henderson, Adam, Skrtel and Carragher (though more could be mentioned) who are so much better than they've shown today, nowhere near their best and did nothing for the team.

Many on another forum I use have placed the blame on Carroll, but at least he was working hard under almost impossible conditions, again very little worked for him but he certainly wasn't the main culprit.

We need a big reaction to this, the season is certainly not going to be over after 2 losses, it will be how we respond that determines how we do. A large win against Wolves would do wonders for confidence, but it requires the players to not feel sorry for themselves, acknowledge they were poor, but move on and come out of it stronger. This absolutely should be a one-off (against Stoke I felt we were unlucky in many ways), we will surely improve.

Massive credit to the away Liverpool fans though, singing their hearts out even at 4-0 down.

Probably just ranting a bit at this point, but I'm just annoyed atm.

In other, less depressing news, I played football for the first time in a while on Friday, was very fun  It was only 4 vs 4 this time as a few couldn't make it but more should come in the future. My side lost narrowly (a low-scoring 15-13  ) but I got a fair few goals/assists.

In terms of boots it was on astro-turf so not quite the same but I wear ones similar to these:

  4. This helped me: (Credit goes to Draz ofc :P)

I LOVED this quest, and Darkmeyer is beautiful!

If you need help with boss, here's a few tips:

    [hide=BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GODS]

    Helm: Neitz helm

    Cape: SW cape/skill cape/fire cape

    Amulet: Fury/Glory

Top: Black dhide body (Karil's not really recommended incase you DO die; as if it drops then it will break)

    Weapon: Blisterwood polearm

Bottoms: Black dhide legs (Same applies for karil bottoms)

    Gloves: RFD gloves

Boots: Dragon boots, possibly..I'm not sure, I wore snakeskin as they were the only boots I had!

Ring: Ring of Life (just incase!)

    Inventory:

Draken Medallion (I just had it incase he outhit the ROL and I could tele back- it is automatically kept upon death along with Darkmeyer clothing)

    Extreme set/super set

    1 Prayer Potion

    Blisterwood stakes

HOLY WATER is essential. (Obtained during the quest)

Darkmeyer clothes set (Wear them to before you go into the fight, then switch to combat gear in the pre-fight room)

Food: Personally, I took Baron Sharks because I had them in the bank, though you should take Rocktails, Juju Gumbo or normal sharks!

IF YOU USE A FAMILIAR! Use a unicorn! It's healing helps out a good bit if you're hit!

    Don't forget your familiar scrolls!

    The fight:

Before you face Vanstrom, you must kill his Bloodveld, in the pre-fight room!

You can kill this easily by praying melee and then throwing the holy water on it at the beginning of the fight.

Once you kill the bloodveld, you have a breather before you can enter the next room and face Vanstrom.

Walk in (Don't pray yet!) and go through the dialouge, and once finished, stick on your prayer protection.

For the fight, I prayed MAGE and PROTECT ITEM. Though if you have Curses, then you could try the Deflect mage, Protect item then turm with you're hitting him, and SS on the bloodvelings he summons after halfway.

    He uses a few attacks,

His magic attack is a read ball he fires at you; prayer protects against this

Melee, if you're up close, which you will be; though you should be able to tank any hits

'Darkness', this can hit HIGH and though prayer and it is EASILY AVOIDABLE! All you need to do is step away from him and FACE AWAY from him!

Blood pools, this is when he goes airbourne- these pools are the main things that will hurt if they catch you; all you need to do is circle the room, while switched to the blisterwood staked, and throw them at you while avoiding the puddles. The puddles hit 400+ so do be careful at this part.

Freeze- at random points during the blood puddle/flight stage, he can freeze you in place, allowing the puddle to hit you. Just keep clicking away from them!

Bloodvelings summon, he summons 2 bloodveld type of creatures at the north and south ends of the room; they will not hurt you but make sure to kill them quickly or THEY WILL HEAL VANSTROM. They only have 50 LP and low defence.

Mistified- This is his final stage, and it is at this point which you use the holy water! Use the holy water and lure him over it and it will kill him. Though beware, he does have a magic attack at this stage which isn't blocked by the mage prayer although it may lower the damage from it. Just keep on your toes and keep spamming that holy water.

Finally, you've killed Vanstrom! Though you have one last thing to do in this fight, I won't spoil the surprise ;)

    [/hide]

I hope this helps a bit!

  5. Of course, I don't know the extent of your 'activities' but those sound like habits to me.

The only OCD - type habit I can think of that I had was when I used to have to touch each side of the body equally. Say if I placed a palm on my right thigh, I'd have to do it to my left. You jabbed me in my left rib, make you jab me in the right. This was when I was a kid though, I don't do it anymore and I do not have OCD.

I used to have the same thing, got very annoying at times. Still happens sometimes though not very often, was mainly when I was younger.

  6. 11th best team in the MLS beats the 11th best team in EPL (not to mention San Jose's goalkeeper scored form 90 yards out) and New England held Man U to a 0-0 draw at half when Man U had all of their starters (including Rooney) playing. Nice to see MLS isn't a complete joke anymore. Looking forward to L.A. vs. Real Madrid soon too.

Well you can't read too much into pre-season friendlies, though MLS certainly seems to have improved, I liked the goal from the San Jose Gk too

  7. I saw this a while back but forgot about it, found it interesting: (List of highest chance-creators in the league last season)

    top-15-chance-creators.jpg?w=441&h=330

Liverpool certainly seem to be targeting players who have shown themselves to create a lot of chances, to supplement Suarez/Carroll etc. as all three transfers so far appear in this list.

(Sorry if i'm boring anyone with Liverpool talk  )

  8. Too high imo. However he's a good addition.

Yeah it is a high price, but I guess it's been a problem area in the squad for years, so he'll be a good addition as you say, certainly adds a different style on the wings.

  9. I suffer from hayfever, and am also allergic to raw fruits and vegetables, which isn't great

But I use this for hayfever now: (Not this actual one but the same idea)

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bionase-Revolutionary-medical-device-Fever/dp/B004069UKG/ref=dp_cp_ob_d_title_2

Can't remember the explanation of how it works, but basically you stick it up your nose, it glows red for around 30 seconds then you take it out, and it removes the symptoms of hayfever brilliantly. You feel a bit stupid when using it but it's worth it in the end in my experience

Anyone else used one of these?

  10. Just hearing Liverpool have agreed a deal with Sunderland for Jordan Henderson, not actually sure on what the fee is though, and it may or may not include David N'gog going the other way. I was unsure when I first heard the link with Henderson but I reckon this will be a good deal, will be able to offer something short-term and hopefully become a very good player for long-term, we have arguably overpaid (going on the estimated figures, as I say the fee doesn't seem to have been revealed yet) but I guess you have to these days for the young British talents.

Update: Indications are that the fee is £13m + David N'gog, which I'd be very happy with.

  11. So then, final league table:

    tables.png

Disappointed that Liverpool lost the last 2 games, meaning no Europe, but considering how we started 6th is a great finish, and things look positive for the future. Close results today with the relegation teams changing constantly, in the end it's Birmingham and Blackpool, I would've liked Blackpool to stay up but oh well.
