  1. Swamp lizards until 47, if you want you can choose to bank them as they sell as a summoning second and are mediocre cash.

At 47 switch to orange salamanders.

At 53 either go hunt regular chins or stay at orange sallys.

Either way at 59 switch over to red sallys.

DO NOT hunt red chins, they aren't worth it until you're at least 80 hunter and bots crowd them like crazy.

Stay at red sallys until 70~75 at which point herblore habitat is the best exp until 95 (where barehanded black warlocks take over).

And yes it is definitely worth doing the minigame for the juju farming potions, scentless as well if you have a grenwall hunting fetish or just want to maximize exp while hunting jadinkos. Since getting farming potions 2 days ago I've made over 3 mil from ~ 9 farming runs (snapdragons). Check out this guide for all the info you'll need once you get there

    Thanks Jac.

  2. So I've never tried Herblore Habitat but from what I've read Farming Juju Potions are worth the time to get. But I need level 70 (or 74?) hunter to get the stuff for the potion correct?

So if I'm right about that then what is the best way to level hunter? I'm only at level 40 right now.

    Thanks.

  3.

Fletching: Making unstrung bows or crossbow stocks. Can you string bows to get the stones or only make logs into (u) bows and stocks?

I'm assuming that you don't get them from stringing. I've strung about 5k yew longs since the release and haven't got a rock yet from it.

  4. Alright, so after a day of looking around this is what I'm currently thinking:

    Monitor/Speakers - I-Inc AG-191DPB 19" LCD Monitor - 8ms, 700:1, SXGA 1280x1024, DVI, VGA, Black, 300 cd/mÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâò, Built-In Speakers

Case/PSU/Case Fans - Ultra Grid ATX Mid-Tower Case with Front USB and Audio Ports and Ultra V-Series 500-Watt Power Supply w/ 2-120mm Fans

Motherbaord - XFX nForce 680i LT SLI Motherboard, NVIDIA, Socket 775, ATX, Audio, PCI Express, SLI Ready, Gigabit LAN, S/PDIF, USB 2.0 & Firewire, Serial ATA, RAID

Video Card - EVGA GeForce 8600 GTS Video Card - FREE Enemy Territory: Quake Wars PC Game, 512MB GDDR3, PCI Express, SLI Ready, Dual DVI, HDTV, Video Card

Keyboard - Logitech Internet 350 USB Keyboard (OEM) Black

So, please let me know if there are cheaper/better options out there, or if what I picked out is crap. I'm still a couple hundred over budget, which really isn't a good thing.

  5. tigerdirect is based in Florida :D

And a few final notes. First, I know you said you did not want to buy parts off a non Canadian website, but if you have a relative living in the United States that can send the parts to you, I would HIGHLY recommend it. The parts website I usually recommend, Newegg.com, has these same parts for about 200$ less. Even with international shipping, it should come out as cheaper. As far as Tiger direct shipping to you, look at the shipping options closely - they are labeled as "worldship" - The parts are being shipped internationally anyway.

My bad, they have warehouses in Canada though, so the parts ship through them. I've bought from them before. No relatives in the US, but I will compare with newegg to see which works out cheaper. Thanks for the advice.

Worked out to around $1400 with a change in case, a couple fans, and a monitor.

Sill looking for other options, so if anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks again.

  6. Hey guys,

I'm looking to build my first PC and was looking for some direction/recommendations. I've got a pretty tight budget, and I'm looking to get the best bang for my buck. I'm fairly good with electronics, but any useful guides would be great. But if you guys could give me a list of hardware I should buy, that would be fantastic!

What I need from the computer:

Basic Word/Excel type work, fast internet browsing, simple gaming (RuneScape type games), movie watching, and maybe the occasional high-end game.

    What I'd like to see:

A big hard drive (at least 250 GB), at least 2GB of RAM, and a DVD writer are my only MUST haves. Would like to see a good size monitor too. I hate waiting on load time, so the faster the better.

    The budget:

$1000 which includes case, all hardware, OS (Vista or XP), speakers, keyboard, LCD monitor, and shipping.

    Where I'm buying:

Preferably Tiger Direct (http://www.tigerdirect.com), or similar company which ships within Canada (I don't want to pay additional fees for shipping internationally). Calculate shipping to Postal Code: B3K 4N5.

Would also like reasons why you recommend a particular product (brand name, personal experience, etc.). Reason I ask is because I don't really want to put a large amount of money into someone blindly picking things for no reason.

If you need any more information let me know.

    Thanks in advance!

Yerxa Goes for 99 Firemaking! Can he do it?

Please post! It will keep me sane and save baby kittens!

Good morning everyone, welcome to my blog! I'm Yerxa, your tour guide for today. I'll tell you a little about myself, just so we don't feel like complete strangers.

In real life, I'm a 20 year old, 3rd year university student, working towards my BSc in Biology. I also work part time on the university student campus patrol. No, really, it's good times. What little free time I have is spent mooching off friends with food (love candy), watching TV (love Dexter, but I only just started season 2 so please don't ruin it for me), or on the Internet playing RS.

In game, I'm a complete loner with 99 cooking. Got it over the summer, and have been completely lost since then. Took a 3 month break, but now I'm back with new goals. Bought 92K maples this morning, and I'm ready to go! Will be burning down World 114 in the Ghost City, feel free to stop by if you happen to be out in my neck of the woods! Also, please feel free to add me in-game (RSN: S_Yerxa), wish me luck, talk about the weather, or chat it up about your favorite TV show! (Or really, anything else you happen to have on your mind.)

Alright, enough rambling, on to bigger and better things!

12/15/07 - I'm really bad at these so don't be surprised if I forget most of the time! Got level 69 and decided to do a clue scroll as a reward for myself. After taking way too long to get a scroll from HAM members, I got a Bob Shirt! It's in GE now awaiting a new owner.

12/16/07 - Got 70 FMing last night, so went on a clue this morning. Got complete crap, but that happens a lot for level 1. Probably won't get any burning done until late tonight, but we'll see how it goes.

  8. I am still having this problem and it has been going on since yesterday evening. The main page will not load. The highscores, Knowledge base...same thing. I used to be able to access the forums for around an hour after it started, now the forums to me are a white page, dead images, and normal blue text for links and black for normal. I would really wish that Jagex knows what is going on, if they don't, this small percentage that are still having this problem may be stuck with it for a while.

Perhaps someone can notify them about this problem that random people seem to be having?

Judging by your location, it's a local problem (I live in NB too). Which probably means that Jagex can do nothing about it, and we just have to wait.
