  1. It doesn't really matter anyway. I hadn't even planed on producing a macro program in the first place I was just wondering what people thought of it. And what do you mean my "swiftly banned"? How would Jagex even be able to detect who had carpal tunnel and who didn't? If you really had it then you would need your macro to be undetectable or you could risk being banned for it. Its like doing the wrong thing for the right reasons. Oh, and everything is undetectable, its detecting it thats the hard part.
  2. I have Windows Vista: Home Premium, and I cant seem to find it. Anyway I believe that Runescapes Macro detection works based on detecting a loop that it too perfect for the human body. If I am not correct, A proper macro recording software could record you doing your desired action about a hundred times then taking that and putting it into a loop. So you are never in a perfect loop. (this could also be combined with a randomizer for added security). Thus an undetectable program. (oh god Jagex would kill me for this)
  3. Hey, after spending like forever on high alching in order to get my magic up, a slight thought came to me. I have the brains, and technology to build an ever so basic macro program (not that I would) that would be able to move the mouse constantly in the same pattern to alch millions of items at a speed similar to just doing it normally. However I would still be sitting next to the computer to watch out for randoms and to monitor the program. This idea however is entirely fictional and although possible I would never try it. The program in my opinion (although is definitely violating the rules) doesn't really seem all that bad. First off it wouldn't be destributed, so i don't see any large scale effect on the RS economy. Second, because it is not actually bringing anything into the runescape world and has the limitation of my nats supply it would never be able to cause any economic effects. And finally since I am sitting there while it runs technically I really cant just leave it on all day, it would be sorta like a hand saver. It will let me train my magic without hurting my wrist. But yet the boringness of runescape training would still be there! So what do you think. I know its violating the rules so I don't plan of doing it. But does this seem like something that should be wrong? Debate.
  4. WAIT! nvm I found out how to. Thanks for the help. I feel like an idiot. :wall:
  5. Wow you guys are fast! Lol, did not see the button, sorry. My only other issue is that for some reason the link to sending a letter to "The_Editor" is for some reason broken. Is there some way to just type the persons name you would like to send a letter to?
  6. Hi, I am new to the Tip It forums :D . Anyway, I had joined in order to respond to this weeks article in the Tip It Times. However I find myself unable to send PMs  . Does this function need to be unlocked by a moderator, or is it once you hit a post number? Anyway I would really like to respond to this weeks article! Any info on this would be helpful. -SystemsLock (bleh30 RS name) (I really hope this is the right forum. If its not sorry, I am kinda new around here.)
