  1. Hey, Further to my discovery of the Males using the vine roots to attack if you pray Prot Mage at a distance, I just did a quick experiment in Jadinko lair - it turns out that ALL Mutated Jadinkos (baby, guard, male) have the ability to make the vine roots attack you, not just the Males. Just FYI :) Geztyr
  2. Well, just as a thought, I donned proselyte body + legs, rune xbow, book of balance, and a few other items, figuring on praying prot mage whilst ranging Jadinko males from a distance, albeit in the middle of the area. Next thing I know, I'm getting whipped by whatever Jade Vine roots were nearby! Damage itself wasn't big (mebbe got hit upto 20lp), but that can come from any vine nearby - four at once in my case! Not seen thata noted anywhere, so giving you the heads up.
  3. All, In your blast furnace guide, you say to sell your noted ore to ordan to then buy it back. But you can 'use' noted ore on him to un-note it cheaper than sell/buy. When you use the noted ore on Ordan, you get a 1/5/10/X requester for how much you want to un-note. You can only un-note up to the free spaces in your inventory. So, if you have 28 noted ore, and EXACTLY enough cash to un-note it, you can still only do 26, as you only have 26 free slots at that time. You then get told the cost of un-noting, then asked if that's OK or too expensive. Click on OK, then you see yourself saying 'It's a deal'. Only AFTER you click that dialogue closed do you get the ore unoted. Clicking anywhere else, ie to move, select an inventory item, etc, will cancel the whole thing (as per normal). Costs per ore are: Copper - 10 Tin - 10 Iron - 8.5 Mithril - 81 Silver -37.5 Gold - 75 Coal - 22.5 Any halves are rounded down, so un-noting 10 iron will cost 85gp, but un-noting 1 will cost 8. So, you could save a lot by un-noting one ore at a time, but the slow-down factor caused by the dialogue you have to go through would really make that for the severely patient player only. Hope this helps spme people, Gez.
