I just got a task of 153 Kalphites and I have never had these to slay before. How would I go about killing these monsters and what would be a good set-up and inventory for me to use. Thanks in advance!

I am currently fighting some Abberrant Spectres for my slayer task. I just got 61 Slayer along as 80 Hit Points! W00t!!!!! I bought myself a whip, because I wanted to train my Attack and Defence up to 80 each. I'll probably sell the whip back when I am finished though. Everybody Post!!!!! Please!!!!! Edit: I also got 76 Attack and 23 Herblore!!! W00t!!!!!

W00t!!!!! I finally gopt a rune defender!!! I used 2.3k tokens to get my rune defender. I had another 200 tokens leftover, so I decided to use them up and try for a few more rune defenders. I only got one more rune defender, but that gives me an extre one incase I die. I am currently 10k from 82 Strength and 39k from 80 Hit Points!!! Hopefully I will ge4t both of them tonight! I also ended up getting 41k in coins and 620 Black Knives, which will be used for ranging. Also a Loop Half of Key. YAY! Everybody post!!! PLEASE!!!!

Thanks for all the replies! It seems that it all depends on luck, so I'll just keep at it. I have already used about 1k tokens and I only have an iron defender, so I'm hoping that I will quickly get the rest of them. Thanks for all the help.

I'm trying to get a rune defender because I heard that it helps a lot with slayer tasks and I was wondering how many tokens it takes on average to get a rune defender from a bronze defender. Any help is appreciated. Thanks :^_^:

I got members for the month! I'm happy and I thought why not? I might as well. I got 73 Cooking while i was cooking tune for my slayer assignment. I got levels 5-8 Hunter from Tears. And I got level 58 Slayer!!! It has been a pretty good day so far!!! Post!!!!

OK!! I finally got 80 Strength!!! W00t!!!!! Now to just chill and kill random stuff.... I'm just going to barely be playing because of sports and school. I won't havr time to play but I will still be on the forums and I'll get some more playing time during Chriostmas break. I'll be back then i guess.

Thanks for posting and thanks for the luck! I used to have goal bars but for some reason I got rid of them... But anyways, I have added some for everyone's viewing pleasure. I will continue to update my skills manually but this just gives another way to look at my skill levels. Still almost 80 Strength and 79 Hit Points!! I'm almost there! Everybody Post!!!!

Again... I haven't played in quite awhile... or posted. But I had a few days off from school and I got bored. So I'm back! :thumbsup: I got 70 Ranged, which is one of my goals!!! Yay!!! I am closing in on 80 Strength and 79 Hit Points as I type this! Wish me luck everybody!! And please post!!!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile!! I just started school and I have been overwhelmed with homework and sports. I play two sports right now so Runescape doesn't really fit into my schedule. Oh well... I shall try to get in some playing time! :)

Gratz on 67 Attack!!!! I would kill the Cockraoch Soldiers because you have a small chance for a rune drop. And those are always nice!

I actually stopped my membership because of school starting. I would recommend killing cockroach soldiers for some rune drops. If you really want a rune drop you could try lesser demons because they drop rune med helms fairly often. I start school on Thursday. And I have to read a whole book by then, so I most likely won't play much til school gets started again. Nothing much has happenned in Runescape lately. Not much to Report about.

W00t!!! I got 69 Ranged!!!! :D I got Level 69 Ranged in a PvP world! I had to be on the lookout for other players cuz they always seem to want to kill me... Only one more level to 70 Ranged, which is one of my goals. Also I gained 5 EP while getting the level. I have a total EP of 70 at the moment. Hopefully I will get a few rune med drops from the lesser demons on my journey to 70 Ranged! PS: Nobody seems to look at my blog.... If you do, I would appreciate you posting!!

Today I went into a Bounty World +1 Item for the first time. I was bored so I went to the Bounty Crater. I killed one Greater Demon in there and I got a rune full helm!!!! I was like... well... this is kinda odd!!! But yay!!!

Yay 79 Strength!!!!! 1 more Level til 80!!! which is one of my goals! And I got 95 Combat for the second time... but this time its F2P! I'm killing some cockraoches right now... no rune drops yet. Edit: Yay rune sq shield!!!
