    Well, it looks like other people have had more success with faster ranged weapons so I've changed the guide to reflect that.

     

    All changes have been made and will be visible shortly. Our coders have been notified about the layout issue and that should be fixed soon.

    Hi Sy,

     

    Thanks for taking the time to contribute. :) I'll respond to each of your items in turn.

     

    1) Would be good to suggest throwing knives (as a dark bow alternate), their speed helps you inflict more damage.

     

    We do already suggest throwing knives - see the suggested equipment list above the boss fight.

     

    2) Last picture is caption as "Char glowing with rage. Lure her into the water to cool her off."...but she is not glowing

     

    I've changed the text to reflect this but the idea is still the same.

     

    3) Worth mentioning it is easier to simply run and light fires while she glows, luring her to the water takes a lot of time and the effect ends of its own accord anyway. Also doing this method (lighting while shes glowing) you can easily keep 10+ fires light most of the time (where as you suggest 8+ is tricky)

     

    I've mentioned that the effect will run out on it's own, but I think it's more important for people to know what the minimum number of fires is that they should have up at a time. Tricky is a subjective thing and for some aiming for 10+ fires isn't going to be realistic.

     

    4) Are you sure number of patterns effects pets? All evidence I've seen you just do Char's training and then all 4 appear floating around the room, I only did like 3 when checking it out and have all 4 pets.

     

    I'll ask someone to check this out.

     

    5) The book of char note is wrong and leaves info out; it does not light logs. It incinerates them directly to ashes for double xp.

    6) Step 7. the bolded cannot is causing some random line breaks on the beta site.

     

    I'll ask our coders to look at it.

    Hi Winarr,

     

    Did you notice if you got your two armour pieces in the first two kills, or were they randomly dispersed through your 7 kills? I did this quest recently with a friend and both of us got our armour pieces in the exact first three kills.

     

    Either way, thanks for the suggestion. I will go ahead and throw that in the tips and tricks at the bottom.

    Hey there everyone,

     

    I'm hoping to collect some data about how the price of a snapdragon seed is determined now during the While Guthix Sleeps quest as the return of free trade has changed it. This is valid only if you buy the seed from Thaerisk Cemphier.

     

    When I did the quest, the price I purchased the seed for was 11,484 gp. The market price on the GE that day was 15,300 gp.

     

    If you could post here with the exact amount you bought the seed for from Thaerisk Cemphier, as well as the market price on the GE from that same time, that would be wonderful. Thank you all!

    Tai Bwo Wannai Trio and While Guthix Sleeps

    Hi Hegel,

     

    Thanks very much for your submissions! We really appreciate your taking the time to help improve the content on the site. All of these are great suggestions, however we will not be able to use them.

     

    1) For Tai Bwo Wannai Trio there are many many different ways to get to that area. You can use Brimhaven house teleport or chipped teletabs, the fairy rings, nature altar teletabs, the spirit graahk or the treasure trail reward Tai Bwo Wannai teleports. It is not feasible to list every possible teleport option.

     

    2) I can confirm that speaking to the Khazard guards will result in them giving you information about where Movario does his laundry. As we do tell players where to go after discussing the guards and many people do seem to receive the appropriate message from the guards, removing the message is unnecessary.

     

    3) For step 56, we already have a complete list of the potions and their ingredients under our herblore guide, and the in-game stats page also shows which potions go with what ingredients. Also, there are more than only 8 potions used for this part of the quest. Therefore, we feel it would be redundant to include another list of potions in the text of the guide.

     

    4) As zaaps said above, for those players with high combat levels they may not find it necessary to bank. The combat requirements for this quest make it possible for players of a much lower level to start the quest. We already mention it is possible to simple take supplies with you for the final battle instead of going back to bank, however, it is important to let players know at point they can bank if they need to. Choosing not to bank is something individual players can decide for themselves.

    Update to The Temple at Senntisten

    Thanks for your submission! I have confirmed this and made the appropriate changes to the quest guide. The canoe is made during the Tale of the Muspah quest, which is a prerequisite for a prerequisite of Temple at Senntisten.
