  1. Use a dragon scimitar or longsword to train defence. Kill some green dragons, this will make you good money. ::'

Why would he use a dragon scim or long when he can use whip+defender? And dragons are slow in terms xp (he's looking for the fastest XP)

  2. Dang :-# *Runs back to G.E For Body talisman (Just got Mind -.-)

Btw hemen, I got to thank you for this. I never knew you gained exp for this. As you well know I'm rcing right now and 13k exp will do me nice ;)

I thanked Sweetyxx, it's her curiosity that made me realize there was a Omni-Talisman>Omni Tiara!

    <3:

Oh well, its all the same. I'm really glad <3: Enjoy your tiara ;)

  4. I have Law, Nature, Cosmic, Chaos, Air, Water, Fire, Earth, Blood, Death talismans and have showed Wizard Elriss but i still do not get the Omni-Talisman from her.

    What's wrong please?

    RS wiki says

To obtain the talisman, players have to talk to Wizard Elriss and show her one of every regular talisman or tiara available on RuneScape, excluding the elemental talisman.

That means your missing Mind and Body talismans :)

  5. Imo that sounds like a really long and ineffective way to train crafting, especially for spending all that time and still losing money. I would say making the molten glass would take weeks. You should either make green d'hide bodies (with sc hammers) or battlestaffs.

Agreed, the time you will save from making green d'hide bodies can be used to make the cash back and then some. And you'll break even if you buy the battlestaves daily and alch them once you've turned them into air battlestaves.

(And it's sc needles not hammers, your typo made me lol :D )

    good luck!

  6. Okay, so from 63 to 75 you need 841,822 xp.

One sc needle lasts for 43,896 xp for crafting green d'hide bodies. The total xp from 1 green d'hide body with using a sc needle is 372 xp. So you would need 2263 green d'hide bodies. You'll need 20 sc needles to reach 75 crafting (actually 19.2 but yeah..you get what I'm saying). If you tan the d'hides you will lose 609 gp per d'hide body (this might be a few gp off since my calculations are old). If you choose to buy tanned d-leather then you will lose 963 gp per d'hide body. So your total loss will be 1,378,167 gp with tanning the d'hides yourself and 2,179,269 gp if you buy tanned d-leather.

In other words you will lose -1.64 gp/xp while tanning the d'hides yourself and -2.59gp/xp with buying the d-leather

I hope there's no errors in my calculations. :)

    Good luck

  7. Great stuff, now all we need is for people to post their loot @ 100% EP :)

From 100% I got about 1.3M worth of drops, including a corrupt Zuriel's Staff and 2 Dragon Halberds. I also got two brawlers - Thieving ( #-o ) and Hunter ( :) ). It took seven kills before it drained to 0, and I kept getting Rune+ drops even at 1% potential.

The first three kills drained 26% potential each.

That's not bad, I might have to try this out myself :)

  8. guys I spent 7 minutes in the hotzone in wildy,

    the % jumped from 41 to 47%.

but i stayed at the same place for another 10 mintues and it is still 47%.

I guess you need to move around not just alching in one spot?

    can someone confirm this?

Maybe it adds on? I was firemaking at draynor for 5 minutes and I gained 10%.

  9. This is what I do...Scout for about a minute to see what kind of c4 is there..gather 1 clay and make the highest tool of the kind of c4 there is out there and go gather some more...Once you have full inventory, go make a summoning pouch, 8 scrolls (1 clay = 4 scrolls) and the rest make arrows (i hope you decide to get to 60 smithing, it'll really benefit you)... Once your done, summon ur familiar and run back to the spot you were in. Fill your familiar and your inventory and go to the kiln again and make arrows and some mage equipment and runes.. If the base is far from the kiln, just put ur arrows into ur familiar and use your summoning scroll. This will deposit all of the items on your familiar to the base and will give you points. Once your at about 20k points, go pk with mage...I usually pk for 10-14 minutes, all depending on how quick I am to get 20k points.

Tip: Have some of your runes in your familiar since you can be pickpocketed and you might lose the runes.

I wrote this in a hurry, so I apologize if it's a little bit hard to understand. However, just ask me to clear things up if needed.

edit: if you don't wanna mage, then simply just go and range in range armour etc, since there's a lot of mages and they usually stay away from the rangers. You'll have a lot of fun, trust me ;) It's only about 40% work out of the entire game time..The rest is just funning and owning :) Oh and if you want, I feel like playing sc today...I can show you some stuff and can make you arrows, just let me know on here if you're interested.

  10. Hunting chins is twice as slow now if that was deliberate as well :?

Heh getting 80 over the weekend for dragon imps was a good move for me then \'

Lucky you, I'm just about to get my last stats to 70+ and now chinning is extremely frustrating. I moved onto red salamanders, whichs seem to be faster actually. Funny thing is that I didn't know they were such good exp. \' I do feel for the guys who are hunting red chins for cash though, it must suck pretty bad.
