  1. So I've been alternating both games during my subscription and I have to say, RSC trumps RS2. Over the years Rs2 has become very presentable and lots of new features are in effect, but it feels so bloated and I dont feel like a part of the community, I just feel like another number, another guy gettin his stats up, I feel like im wastin time playin a MMO-singleplayer game (although I still play) RSC I alternate combat and fishing, I love fishing on both RS's but RS2 feels like i'm doing it just for the money. There's no middle man like on RSC. I have 2 buyers for my stuff already and I've been playing not very long, it's almost like a mini-mutual-friendship just to buy lobby certs. Everyone is part of the community in some way or the other. Infact just now i made a sale with a buyer, we exchange formalities, cash in hand, off we go. both richier (money wise and food wise) RS2 I feel like im just doing the same thing ,but without all the lil nice things inbetween, I dont feel like im benefitting everyone. Being a fish monger in RSC is so much more rewarding..........end mindless thought
  2. So here I am doing a rare combat session fighting some monsters and was chatting about runescape classic with some guy. He says I dont look like I been around for 6 years....wuhh? See the thing is, when I played runescape NON stop, the top armor was rune and later dragon. Then I developed a play style of one month, scattered across the years. So I dont really know what all the new stuff is about. I have a dragon med helmet, D-long, Zamorak shield , dragon legs and dragon shoes and an amulet of power, this is all ive ever used really. all the other stuff is level 70 defence i'm 60 def, what am I supposed to be wearing then? I guess rune n drag isnt good for my level...
  3. o ye i forgot, monster with cool loot too. money, bones, armor, none of those summon things, never use em, cant sell em, poo
  4. Havent played in years so i'm not upto scratch on the best places, I used to chill at the Karj caves with the big red men, im sure it's all new and theres better places. 63 att, combat 75. Lookin to get level 70 for a good whip thing, where's a fun and decent place to train?
  5. I've recently re-subbed after not playing for a while, and noticed that they added PVP worlds back in, that's pretty neat, just like old times! Does that mean food is now in high demand on PVP worlds, just like old times? Ive always liked to fish but I feel like my lobbies and sharks aren't needed anymore, has this PVP world update changed things a bit? ( i'm not with the economic times )
  6. I still have my lucky wizards hat from 2002 a good friend gave me before he died.
  7. Financial troubles, busy uni assignments and other personal endeavors and hobbies. I feel like logging onto RS, play around the free world, oh that's new, hey when did they bring this out? Hell I'll just re-subscribe, only £3.50! I did it again. RS is the only game which makes me pay money to play. I dunno why. I'm 19 now and should be doin other stuff than playin a kids game. But I like it. I started playin in 2002, been with all the changes and diff version. I think that's why I keep coming back. Technically, it's not even 'fun', but I enjoy it. usually just end up grinding fishing and getting particularly nowhere...but I played RS so i'm happy. When I usually play a game extensively (MMORPGs) I give it one good play through, and never subscribe again. I've been playing RS for many years (on and off of course), I do the same ol [cabbage], nothing really changes, but I always come back. It's the only RPG where I can bum around and be a non-combatant in a medieval setting, and the setting is believable too, it's sensible (for the most part), everyone is human , im not always battling like in other games. I think this is why I keep comin back any others find themselves re-subbing even though they play for a month then get bored?
