  1. I think the site would greatly benefit if the monster hunting guide included all boss monsters, as far as I can tell it is only missing tormented demons and The Chaos Elemental. The Chaos Elemental is quite easy and can be done single handedly with full black dragonhide and a crystal bow, to minimize loss in the event the player is swarmed with revenants. food used should be high level pies, such as summer pies (which are still inexpensive) this counteracts his ability to unequip your equipment, and the crystal bow helps to recover some of the disorientation of his teleport spell. Tormented Demons can be solo'ed quite easily but fighting them 2 on 1 is considered the most effective way. Because Tormented demons use all methods of attack you must switch between prayers to protect yourself, they will perform an attack and repeat it 4-5 times, then switch and repeat. The demon will also pray against any attack used against it so, if soloing, it is necessary to use 2 styles of attack. This is also why it is most efficient to use 2 people. The Demons also have immensely high defence, making killing them similar to fighting broodoo victims. The best way to counteract this is to initiate the fight with the Darklight sword, which eliminates their overwhelming defence. The best equipment setups for a 2 person team are as follows. melee: neitiznot helm, bandos or torag armor, a godsword or whip and rune defender, darklight, fury, fire cape, dragopn boots, barrows gloves, berserker ring. Ranger: Full Armadyl, Karils, black dhide, or void knight ranger with a rune crossbow and ruby+diamond (e) bolts. void knight gives a nice damage bonus but can occasionally be inaccurate. ALSO NOTE that the bestiary entry does NOT include the fact that they DO drop dragon armor shards and it has been confirmed. thanks for the endless help tip.it, if you need any help or have questions its easiest to contact me in-game, username : Leonheart900 ~happy hunting
  2. Another thing i forgot >.< If your rich enough to shell out the cash for this equipment its actually possible (and probable) that a player with 80 or even less in all of their combat stats can kill her in a single trip, but remember defence is the most important.
  3. Oh and also, the rest of the strategy is the same, super set and protect from magic, high range and melee defence armour, Beast of Burden highly suggested, or a powerful combat familiar and a thirst for some bug juice
  4. Yet Another Boss monster omission. The Kalphite Queen is a very very difficult monster to kill solo, even at very high levels with full veracs. 90+ in all stats is necessary and even then 2 trips is usually necessary. However an alternative option is using the slayer helmet or mask on a kalphite slayer assignment. The damage boost cuts through the wasp forms prayer, and allows for better defence armour being used, and a much more effective weapon, whilst dealing much more damage. This means the ideal equipment ends up as follows... Slayer Helmet Bandos/Torag Plate Bandos/Torag Legs Dragon Boots Barrows Gloves Trimmed Skillcape/ Fire Cape Fury Amulet Ring of Wealth (because it affects solo kills) Either a Godsword or Whip with Obby or DFS Hope this helps people, and makes somebody a little richer ;) As always ~Happy Hunting
  5. meh the image link didnt work so just check it out on my myspace page, http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=218325551&albumID=1217534&imageID=18032162
  6. Thats My ideal equipment, but the cape isnt trimmed and amulet would be better as a fury. Dont have any spare pics of my inventory though. Theres some included in the pic but it also contains a few drops...
  7. Recently, hunting the Giant Mole has been my favorite pastime, even just as a break from skilling, however I noticed that the tip.it guide is noticeably lacking in efficient ways of killing it. Firstly the ideal method for killing the Mole is to use full veracs assisted by a DDS and a spirit terrorbird. Strategy should entail directions as to using full special bar from the dds (stab mode due to its weakness to stab attacks) then switching to veracs flail (also on stab) to finish it off. The terrorbird is EXTREMELY helpful for several reasons, firstly because of their low price, and the ability to constantly fill your energy to track down the mole, and secondly because if the terrorbird is initiated in combat with the mole when it flees, the terrorbird immediately begins chasing after it and 9/10 times (or more) that direction leads straight to the mole, eliminating frantic searching and making soloing the Mole much much easier. If you need photos or other media of suggested equipment etc. Id be happy to post them. Thanks and happy moleing! Crew Edit: Topics merged, guide renovation is under way!
