  1. Have you been living under a rock or something? Our own governments(yes, of democratic countries) do the same thing.

The websites you visit, the phone calls you make are stored in a large database for years.

Apparently it helps fighting against terrorism :|

    PATRIOT Act=/=Stasi.

How can you even compare such things with sanity?

  2. Or perhaps more appropriately, Walküre, is an excellent film, and highly recommend you go and see it!! This film deviates from blockbuster action-flicks, and takes you though General Stauffenberg's every thought, with an excellently well-done plot. The imagery is superb, and apart from a few artistic liberties, the picture is authentic. But this isn't the Germany you learned about in school, this is the Germany from within the Nazi walls. The story is accurately portrayed, including a very authentic ending (no spoiler). And like him or not, you're going to be cheering for Cruise and his crew and the July 20 Coup all the way to that last order.

  3. Valkyrie, or proper, Walküre, and it was awesome!! Not as built-up as the trailer suggested, but still awesome. It broke the typical movie theme now-a-days by focusing on plot and story over action. The use of German was also nicely done, so as to not deviate entirely towards English.

  4. Communism not only is terrible, not only is impossible (all deviations from Marxism are Socialism), but it's a topic that needs to be left in the past, and advocates of it are either a) looking for attention, or B) have no idea what they are advocating.

I have a friend from the DDR (GDR, East Germany), and I can tell you that no matter how much he may reminisce on the old times. On the meetings everyday after school in the young socialist pioneers, to the events put on by all of the older youth in their blue uniforms in the FDJ (Friere Deutsch Jugend), and the frequent reminders of the Stasi (1 informant to every 66 persons)*, who might be your neighbour, watching and recording every person who walks into your house, or your antenna pointing towards the BR (West Germany). That when that the wall came down, they wouldn't dare turn back. That they may finally watch West German TV, may finally burn those Honecker portraits, may finally live without, and have access to, the Stasi and its mountains of files on every person.

    1. Santa doesn't exist

    2. There is no stable landmass on the North Pole, except for the thick ice which layers it invariably throughout the year.

    3. That is not what really happens with the bad posts

    4. How do you know the poster celebrates Christmas?

    Concluding this, YOU LIE!

Please go move to the UK, France, Sweden, Canada, somewhere where people actually care about your "progressive" attitude.

  6. I'd raise them bilingually (probably Spanish, though Vulgar Latin or Esperanto would be awesome), or possibly French or German. I would raise them Christian (ECLA Lutheran). I would raise them with all of the traditions I grew up with. I would raise them to be geographically aware, to be responsible, and to be respectful and close to their family, and to be tolerant, and set a good example. And most importantly, to aim to do good in school and go to college.

I would name them Isabella, Emma, Felix, or Landon.

  7. Don't live in a bubble! "Oh no there's a 1/1.000.000.000th chance of possibly getting sick if you eat this meat from Alberta at 14:00 on a Monday when the temperature is 25 C."

I would have a better chance injuring myself opening a door! But better get rid of doors then!

Vegetarianism has no serious health benefit. Fat is not the only source of fat, and meat is not only tasty, but builds muscle.

I have NEVER met a muscular vegetarian. They are all scrawny or weak, I want to meat just ONE who isn't!

  8. Tip.It is obsessed with grammar and spelling...

Technically, you have to have a period follow an ellipses when used as you used it.

Lol, I'm just kidding!! Actually, I'm not, but I'm kidding about being a crazy grammar freak lol. That's such a tiny, negligible error.

  9. I can't stop trying, because I (should be) a god. Bubsa said so himself.

    Therefore, I win

I won't harass you any longer, however, I must say one last time, ???? That makes no sense. "Should be" is not an optional verb phrase, and the sentence itself is hard to understand.

  10. Yes, because you're signature obviously proves that you use proper English at all times.

I can't make any sense out that sentence! Verb/noun/adverb disagreement!!

And then I LMAO'd. I've seen people misuse "your," but "you're"? LMAO YOU'RE hilarious!!

  11. Abyss is /@bI\s/, so if you want to sound smart you can say all of your voiceless s's or voiceless alveolar fricatives turn to f's or voiceless labiodental fricatives.

That's some nice wikipedia research you did there.

    Only on the names, I knew /s z/ and /f v/ are voiceless/voiced pairs.

  12. /str{:P/ Strap

    Your dare to infult me?

And whatever, just the s's that don't sound like z. Fo fomething like fails would ftill have the s at the end there, fince it founds like z. Fomething like abyff has an s at the end, but it ftill founds like an s, fo it becomes f.

Abyss is /@bI\s/, so if you want to sound smart you can say all of your voiceless s's or voiceless alveolar fricatives turn to f's or voiceless labiodental fricatives.

  13. Switch your b's with f's.

I like to switch my hard s's with f's. Like I will push you down the ftairs, or frtap you to a failboat and fend you out to fea.

Wait, only word-initial s's? Or did you mean to say your voiceless s's? Most word-final s's are often realised as voiced, in other words, as z. S and Z are voiceless/voiced pairs.

  14. I find it funny how, I as a gay guy who isn't in favour of (nor opposed to) Gay Marriage, haven't been torn to shreds by straight people advocating for Gay Marriage.

And I still don't understand the problem with Civil Unions with equal rights and adoption rights. Is one word so important that a state that already has Civil Unions (eg. California) needs an uprising of Gay Marriage protestors? You know how absurd that looks to use folks in states that don't even have Civil Unions? It almost comes off spoiled. Why don't you come help states without Civil Unions before pushing such controversial and pointless positions.

Plus, the only reason Prop. 8 failed was because of Obama and his drawing out of the black vote, whom are still quite socially conservative. And now Obama chooses Rick Warren for his inauguration. I can't help but laugh at the 70% of gay and lesbian people who supported and voted for him.
