So I built a portal to the nether. I went a bunch of squares forward and built another portal. I brought nothing with me to the second portal other than the obsidian and flint/steel needed to make it. Then I made a bunch of [cabbage] in the new overworld place. Then I mined for a bunch of minutes. Then I found a massive cave. Then I explored it and there was a [cabbage] load of iron in there. Then I realized that diamond branch mining isn't good for iron. Then I realized that I wasted a bunch of hour. Then used the [cabbage] load of iron I found in the massive cave to make a minecart system back to my spawn point portal. Then I filled a double storage chest thing with cobblestone. Then I put all of my diamond and redstone [cabbage] in another. Then I tomorrow I'll probably make awesome [cabbage] with the redstone.

I made a giant bridge connecting a few different biomes at the sky limit. If you look at it from the right spot, it looks like a snake or dragon or something. Screenshots later. Computer doesn't want to cooperate. Complete sentence period.

Abc found diamonds Abc: "HURR DIAMONDS I R DIG STR8 DAWN" Abc fell in lava and lost a bunch of steel pickaxes and shovels

I'm playing on peaceful. I don't know if that matters. I was definitely able to find diamonds on peaceful in alpha

I did. I didn't find any lava, either. My spawn point is pretty close to a giant lava pool, though

I played for about 6 hours today and didn't find any diamond. Granted, I only spent about 45 minutes of that time actually looking for diamond

I was playing Minecraft. I had built a bunch of stuff and decided to start again in the same world. I started digging a huge tunnel. I finished it about 2 hours later. Due to all the twists and turns, I wound up about 100 squares away from my spawn point. I was sad
