^ Actually, yeah, they pretty much do. At least in high school. I'm not sure if people suddenly learn how to defend themselves when they turn 18, but I'm pretty sure long hair wouldn't affect an average, day-to-day fight. If I spin my head really fast, I start to fly like a helicopter
