I decided to post an alternate method for this quest, despite someone else on this forum having registered the username that I have for my character :evil: Username - Diabolico While doing this quest, I started out with "Thorvald the Warrior" and attempted a new method of beating the 4th form. This method uses half the "reccomended" amount of prayer potions, making the sword more feasible to obtain from those who are strapped for cash but have higher prayer than "required". I took the following items with me: 1x Combat Potion (3 dose) 5x Prayer Potion (4 dose) 6x Ring of Recoil The following are my stats at the time of this quest 71 Attack 72 Strength 70 Defense 73 Hitpoints 53 Prayer -------- Against the first 3 forms I did not need to use prayer, though I had taken a moderate amount of damage by the time I began fighting the 4th form. Against the 4th form, I turned on Redemption (Level 49 Requirement) and equipped a Ring of Recoil, no other prayers were used. Everytime I dropped down to 8 health, I was restored to 20 HP by Redemption and then took a dose of prayer potion to re-activate it. When the 4th form died, I had 4 doses in a single prayer potion left and the 6th ring was still equipped. This method allows the 4th form to quickly do damage to you, thereby having it returned back unto it via the Ring of Recoil. At the same time, you are safe from death thanks to the favor of your gods.
