  1. Chapter Six: Now tell me what was your attitude when you are fighting. The guru ordered Sir Zach, now called Lord Zach. I fight with pressure, if something blocks my way I will hit it without remorse. I do not fight using the weakness of my enemy. He answered. Yes, yes. Indeed, you are a wind swordsage, for you do not use the weakness of an enemy as a water swordsage do. You do not use the complete anger and heat of your enemy against them. You do not fight by equaling your strength with your enemy. That is how a wind swordsage acts. So Im a wind swordsage? he asked, the guru nodded. What can I do? You can control the wind with a sword or anything that is made of metal, you are fast and agile. Remember this, a spell of the wind will only work if your soul is calm and not in rage, for it will not work if you are in rage. The guru instructed. Take this metal rod and try using it. Lord Zach took the metal rod and did as the guru said. He walked to the far opposite side of a large crystal buried in the sand and swiped his sword, a large, thin wind suddenly came out of the rod easily and sliced the crystal into half. Lord Zach was astonished and delighted; he tried it again, this time in a different angle. It was wonderful- it was easy. He tried once more, spinning his sword on top of his head, a large force field of wind covered him. He smiled at the guru who instantly congratulated him. Lord Zach, I admit you are a great wind swordsage. I will be the one who will explain you what is your mission and the history of your race. A thousand years ago, the elves lived in the west. There are two kinds of elves, pointed-eared and non-pointed-eared. The difference between them is that non-pointed-eared elves have more tremendous strength and magic potential than pointed ones. The guru began. How do you know all of this? Did you come from the west? No, it is magic that revealed these things to me. Your father, Trevor, was a great swordsage and was the head general of the largest kingdom in the west, Renorent. Your father came from a noble family. A powerful, evil, pointed-eared wizard elf, Lord Cindarn, plotted to destroy all the kingdoms in the west. Your father pursued him but was unable to beat him, but with the help of Wizard Terlin, they were able to curse him and trap him inside a statue. They trapped him hundred years ago. The guru muttered and sighed. But before they could trap him, Lord Cindarn was able to destroy all the kingdoms of the west. Wizard Terlin created six keys, for a spell cannot be created without keys. You must stop his host from getting all six keys or stopping him from getting the scroll of door, written by your father. What is this scroll of door? Lord Zach asked curiously. It is a scroll that will tell who the door is. The door is the way for Lord Cindarn to be free if he gets all the keys. The guru answered. The door is born once a million years. Does wizard Terlin know about the information inside the scroll? No, Trevor was able to hide it from him, even magic did not reveal anything about the scroll to me. Where is it located? I think getting one important item is easier than getting other five. It is located at the heart of Slivia, jungle of the north. I am sure he will be getting all the keys before getting the scroll, hurry up. Farewell, great guru. Lord Zach waved and traveled outside the gurus hideout. We are heading to Trenchat. For what? Fabul childishly questioned. I must fetch my best friend, she might be a great help for us. Dont worry it is just east from here. Well the problem is that we need to make a boat and traveling with a boat to that desert will take us a week. Terlin worriedly muttered. Then we must build hurriedly. He sighed. Wait! the guru halted and came, carrying a bunch of old stuffs. The group gave him an armor made of steel with a blue cape at the back and a dark blue sapphire at the armors chest. The guru then gave Terlin an ancient plain yew staff. The child received a small necklace with some fluid inside it and the guru said the liquid could cure any defects. ---
  2. --- Chapter Three: Sir Zach woke up and found himself in a room. The room was small and uncomfortable place to sleep in. He stood up from his bamboo-made bed and approached the door. Before he could pull the door open, someone pushed it from the other side. From the other side were two people. The first one is an old man about in his eighties. This man wore blue robes with mithril shoulder armor. His hair was long and gray, his long beard silver. His skin was wrinkled and pale. There was something about this man that Sir Zach was afraid of. The other one was a young boy about in the age of nine or ten. The boy had thick brown hair; his skin is smooth and pale. The boy wore red robes with a green vest embroidered with cheap gold. Hi! the little boy squeaked. My name is Fabul! The old man said angrily. My name is Terlin. I am a master wizard of black magic and my grandson in master of white magic, young dark knight. Sir Zach suddenly became aware that he didnt wear his dark armor and even his sword was gone. Where is my sword and armor? We burned it. Your savior ordered us to do it. Terlin answered. Bring me to this savior. Sir Zach commanded, a little furious of loosing his armor and weapon. Terlin and his son Fabul brought him in front of a large and dark tree; it was neither oak nor yew. What is this, a tree? Do not insult it, for it the oldest ent. It is also the protector. Fabul explained silently. Sir Zach approached it and touched its delicate dark stem. All of sudden, a large wooden face appeared on the stem. The face was for an old man without a beard. Zach of the west. The tree spoke, making Sir Zach flinch in surprise. Your powers are far more powerful than mines. Seek for the guru of the volcano of this island and you will discover your true quest in this world. Why? Why should I speak to this guru? What can he give me? I know naught Fabul and Terlin, you will be his companion on this great quest. Fabul be careful the ent said and the face disappeared. Answer me! Sir Zach kicked the tree in anger and confusion. Mister Zach Please do not harm the tree! Fabul cried as he hugged Sir Zach tenderly. Sir Zach suddenly felt happiness at the sight of Fabul. He washed his face at the sea and Terlin gave him a small mirror. Look at yourself. I bet you havent seen yourself for years. Sir Zach examined himself at the mirror. His hair was short and blonde, and he was undeniably handsome. He examined his body, his body was muscular and his skin was perfectly-tanned. We will proceed to the volcano on this day! Sir Zach exclaimed in joy. How many hours will it take us to reach the top? Only a day. Terlin smiled. His mission is about to begin --- Chapter Four: Sir Zach traveled with Fabul and Terlin an hour after the talking with the ent. Sir Zach wore nothing but green shirt and a red shorts, he was given a small blade made of cheap iron. Fabul simply wore his red robes and green vest. Terlin wore his golden wizard robes with red linings. Why would you bring books while traveling? Sir Zach asked curiously asked Fabul. Because Im studying something. Fabul answered boringly, still reading a thick book. My son is studying how to combine black magic and white magic. Terlin said, almost mocking. I think its impossible to combine them! Youll see one day, father. He murmured. The trio traveled for more hours until everybodys feet were aching badly. I think we have to rest for now. Oh my gosh! We forgot to bring tinderbox! Sir Zach exclaimed. Not to worry my dear. Just get some twigs and rocks and I will do the job. Terlin encouraged. Fabul and Sir Zach quickly got enough twigs and rocks. Terlin pushed his sleeves until it reached his shoulder and with one snap of his fingers, the twigs started burning. Cool! Sir Zach said, amazed. Fabul yawned and easily slept at a bed of leaves. Youre lucky to have that son. He said to Terlin who was watching the fire. I know. He is kind and intelligent. Terlin boasted. Im proud of him. I wont be surprised if he becomes a master wizard someday. An hour passed and all of them were asleep before the moon --- Meanwhile --- The king of Gresya boringly watched the golden statue of Cindarn. He was surprised when the statues eyes glowed yellow. No! the statue furiously shouted. The king bowed immediately and asked fearfully, What happened, my Lord? Zach has survived and he is on his way to discover destiny as a swordsage! the statue replied. I thought he was dead, my Lord! the king said, terrified. I promise to send the Hontor to catch up with them! Do it! Zach has two companions. One is a wizard named Terlin and the other is a strange boy, I cannot penetrate his history. This boy has tremendous magic potential. Lord Cindarn said, worried. Hurry for tomorrow he will reach the one that will release him from darkness! Yes, my Lord! the king said and then bowed. He swiftly went to the soldiers quarters and commanded hundred men to kill Sir Zach. --- Chapter Five: Sir Zach swiped his sword at the incoming five soldiers of Baxon, instantly killing them. Terlin cast two large ball of fire that killed many people. Fabul hid behind a tree, watching many men dying. At last, the remaining troops retreated because they were losing. Cowards! Come back here! Terlin beckoned at the retreating troops. Sir Zach, do you know who those people are? Yes, they are from Baxon. I dont understand it, I am their general and I am the most loyal man of the king. Sir Zach muttered sadly. Well it seems your king is the one that is not loyal to you. Terlin joked, the joke struck Zachs heart. Im sorry. No, you are right. The king is no longer loyal to me. Sir Zach seriously retorted. Let us proceed. The group traveled for hours and soon reached the top, and they found nothing but a garden. Well, where is this guru, father? Fabul asked plainly. This cant be the wizard whispered. The guru is not here No. The guru is here. Sir Zach muttered, making everyone look at him. The guru must be hiding somewhere when the airship Hontor was passing. Well I would say would search the whole area. Terlin suggested. The trio searched every corner, observing every inch of rocks, vines and stuff. Sir Zach caught glimpse of a trapdoor hidden in a thick layer of vines. He removed the vines by swiping. I found it! Sir Zach sighed. Fabul and Terlin rushed towards the spot of Sir Zach. Thats how a knight works, my son. Terlin said, rubbing the hair of his son. The trio entered the narrow trapdoor and to their amazement, the whole place was lit not by torches but rather shimmering crystals. In front of them was an old man, wearing yellow and orange robes, sitting on the dusty ground. Ive been waiting for you, son of Trevor, and to you Terlin, the Long-Lost great wizard of the west. Fabul, child of the angered moon, please let calm of yourself. Im already calm. Fabul angrily muttered as if he was insulted. Are you the guru? I am he. The guru answered. Have you come here to know what your mission is? Well, yes. He said, yawning. Well by the way, who is this Trevor? Trevor is your father. We were both friends until we were forced to travel here because the west was already destroyed and to hide the wretched cursed statue of Lord Cindarn. Wizard Terlin said suddenly and made a heavy breath and continued. Your father and I were both non-pointed eared elves. I am a wizard and your father was a swordsage. I think you might be a swordsage. He looked curiously at Terlin and asked. What is this swordsage skill? Swordsages have the ability to control the elements with the use of swords. A swordsage could only use one element, depending on their attitude and traits. Wizard Terlin, you must stop telling him everything, please let me speak with him. The guru interrupted calmly. What do you want? Sir Zach asked irritably. Before you hear anything about your history You must cleanse your soul by letting the evil out of your body. How is that? Come, approach me. The guru said, gesturing his hand, asking Sir Zach to come forward. As Sir Zach approached him, the guru slapped him with both hands, Zach felt a strange electric shock coming all over his body, his mind somewhat became fuzzy. He found himself on a room full of mirrors blocked by black smoke. Then the gurus body appeared beside him saying, This is your soul, dirty as you look at it. You will feel balance if you are to remove all those evil things. How am I supposed to remove it? Let the pain flow into your body, the pain you inflicted to those people you have killed, feel the pain of death. He sighed and closed his eyes, he did not feel anything. He opened his eyes and still saw the black smoke luring in his soul, he closed his eyes and sighed, still nothing. He did this many times until he was tired and a bit angry. I dont feel anything! Cleansing a soul must be sincere, you must ask forgiveness for those you killed. The guru advised. One cannot be forgiven without forgiving themselves. Sir Zach sighed and closed his eyes, and then he thought the images of people he slain with his dark sword. Those people who valued their lives. He thought of everything, each people he killed, all of them. He asked forgiveness. Then all of sudden, pain started to scatter in his body, it was unbearable, he screamed like he was in pain of death, he is actually in the pain of death. The pain didnt stop for minutes, his soul that was full of hatred started to become bright, light and clean. He felt a strange relief and joy as he completely fainted. ---
  3. Chapter Two: Sir Zach woke up early in the morning, when the sun was not yet in the sky. He wore his dark armor and his dark sword. He wrapped a small amount of food in a thin cloth. The box that was to be delivered was heavy. He departed about nine in the morning. He hated traveling outside the city of Baxon, because it was at the most dangerous part of the mountains. The path he walked was steep and rocky, enough to kill a herd of beasts. He traveled for hours, passing through rocky paths and dark forests. At last he caught a glimpse of the village. He dashed towards it and was curious about the people of this village, they werent moving at all, except for one. The one that moved was a man about in his forties, wearing cheap red clothes. Then the box he carried suddenly became heavier, heavier than he thought. There was something else odd about the box; it released a foul smell of rotten meat. Then to his horror, the people around him turned to corpses and skeletons, the man became a horrifying beast with seven eyes, and the whole place darkened. Sir Zach dropped the heavy box, making a loud thud. He looked at corpse, for the first time of his life he felt sympathy and sorrow for those he had slaughtered. The beast roared and fear started to seep in his bones, his hairs standing to an end. The beast swiftly started to run towards him, but before it could bite him the waters of the river devastatingly flooded the whole place. The beast and Sir Zach were swept by its waves and were pulled to the great ocean. The beast drowned as it reached the ocean, but Sir Zach floated, breathing but fainted. --- Meanwhile --- The King of Gresya sat on his throne confidently. He snapped his fingers and a servant hurriedly entered, carrying a heavy-looking golden statue with six arms and hands. The servant gently dropped the statue in front of him and swiftly left the throne room. The king stood, holding the diadem that was stolen by Sir Zach. The stature was made with real gold, it was a statue of a man wearing robes that were only wore by great sorcerers. Lord Cindarn, I present to you the crown that is one of the key for your escape from statue! the king laughed maliciously, instantly placing the crown on the statues head. The statues eyes glowed yellow and golden dusts engulfed the king and made him more powerful. You have the first key, find the other five. The statue suddenly said. Find also the door; I cannot exit this statue state unless you find him, the door. My Lord? What do you mean door? the king asked, worried. The door has been born when the spirit of the moon was in danger. He will be my body, my host. Thou must place the door in my dark heart when thy keys power flows in my body. The statue replied. Powers of thou door has outnumbered mines, black and white shall he combine and the barrier of dark and light will die. My Lord, let us not worry about the door until we have all keys on our hands. The king said. I have other good news to you. The last one with the blood of elven kind will be killed! the king gleefully exclaimed. What is thy name of my kind? it asked, its voice was wary. Zach, my Lord. He answered. Yes, indeed, the last elf without pointed ears of our kind. What is the difference between pointed-eared elves from non-pointed? Not-pointed-eared elves are more powerful. They have the ability to swordsage, a rare and powerful skill that can use the elements with sword. The statue replied. Thy energy to talk to you is gone
  4. Ummm... Hi! I wish some of you will post even if my other story Peter the Heir was boring... I hope you enjoy it! --- Prologue: Sir Zach was the general of Gresya, the greatest kingdom that ever existed in their realm, and the admiral of the fleet Hontor, the largest and strongest airship fleet on Gresya. His mission was to steal an important relic on the holy city of Helston. He was a dark knight with great skill and prowess in the use of sword. The crew soon caught the great city of Helston; its gates were tall that it almost reached the sky. This wall prevented hundreds of expeditions trying to conquer the kingdom. Now was the time for him to prove his greatness and steal the relic. Fire came out from the cannons of the great Hontor, instantly destroying a large part of the gate that is enough for them to enter. The fleet soon landed at the square plaza and started to slay hundreds of lives, even thousands or millions. He started to dash towards the great white castle, slaying those who stand in his way. Screams of terror boomed in the castle halls. Sir Zach instantly killed four royal guards with one swipe of his devastating sword. The throne rooms door was heavy for it was made of metal and was painted in white and gold, the colors of Helston. He ordered his men to open it but it wont budge. He unsheathed his sword and swung his sword. There was a loud CLANG! For a minute the doors were still calm, but it suddenly burst and shattered, colored metals soared in the air, almost piercing everyones skin. The head monk, ruler of Helston, sat calmly on his throne, as if he knew what was happening. Come to look for the relic? the head monk calmly said. Yes! Surrender it or die! Sir Zach threatened as he place his sword near the neck of the head monk. I would rather die. The head monk smiled, but all of the monks started to approach Sir Zach, begging him to spare the great ruler of Helston. I would spare him if you show me where the relic is. he said, knowing his victory is near. The monks led him, making the head monks calmness disappear, he started to panic. The monks led him into a secret chamber in the head monks room. The chamber was lit by torches and in front of them was a pedestal with a glowing crown full of sapphires. There it is, the crown of the unknown spirit of the west. One of the monks disappointedly said. Sir Zach ignored it and took the crown out of its pedestal and swiftly left the kingdom, leaving hundreds of people homeless and badly hurt. --- Chapter One: Sir Zach heard one of his men say, We are near kingdom Gresya! He looked below, it was indeed mountainous, forests scattered almost everywhere. They passed hundreds of villages and several towns and at last reached the great kingdom, Gresya. Sir Zach admired the whole kingdom pf Gresya. He admired how it was created; it was too hard for invaders to enter their kingdom secretly and because all towns and villages are loyal to the kingdom and will easily pinpoint spies or enemies. They landed at the palaces garden. The garden was filled with lovely flowers and bushes that were rare. The palace was indeed like a fairytale place. He entered silently, ignoring the servants passing and bowing to him. He was about to enter the throne rooms great doors when, suddenly, the councilor of the king blocked his path. Halt! I am ordered by the king not to let anybody enter his throne room. The councilor defiantly said. Get out of my way! he hissed as he unsheathed his dark sword. The councilor, terrified, moved away and started to run. The king sat on his throne, hundreds of servants gave raw fishes that the king devoured maliciously. Sir Zach curiously thought why the king changed three months ago. I bring good news, Your Highness! Sir Zach boringly said, bowing. How dare you to interrupt my activities! the king roared angrily. Get out of my sight and come back once you bring this box to the small village near the river of Etia tomorrow morning. Do not use Hontor. But-but Your- Sir Zach blundered. Silence! the king angrily ordered. No more questions or I will have your head! As you wish, youre Highness. Sir Zach desperately muttered and left the throne room and hurriedly went to the west turret that will bring him to his room. He entered it in a bad mood and saw his friend, a healer named Karyll. Karyll was not good in healing, but was kind and friendly. What happened? she asked calmly. I must go to the small village near the river of Etia and deliver this box to-to- he replied but didnt know the person that will receive the box, after all, king didnt mention anything or anyone. I have to go to the oasis of Trenchat. Karyll sadly said. My instinct says that there is a shaman there that will teach me how to cure. But the oasis of Trenchat is at the heart of the ferocious desert of Golgola! he exclaimed, saddened and worried. It is too dangerous for you to go there! Ill be fine. She said, trying to convince him. I will be leaving this evening- Before she could say goodbye, a servant knocked and entered and said, Madam You will be leaving right now. The chariot has come now. She left sadly, Sir Zach watched her disappear in the hall... It was a sad night for him, and he could hardly sleep that night. But sleepiness ate him and he soon fell to his pillow, sleeping and even snoring. ---
  5. What happened while Guthix sleeps? (Interrogative sentences are alright?)
  6. Hello everybody! :D This is my first post and my first story. I don't know if I am an expert author or an author-in-training. I hope we get along with each other and please comment! Enjoy reading! : *Sigh* Here it goes! :ohnoes: --- Prologue: The Evil Scheme It was night; the wind whistled as usual, the fog was thick. In the garden of Murchial, near the palace of King Henry, was an old hag wearing robes that were exactly fit for a witch. She was waiting for something or for someone important. Suddenly, a silhouette figure appeared in front of her, carrying a lamp. It was the councilor of King Henry, Lord Boras. What news do you bring Boras? the hag or witch, known as Griselda, asked irritably. I saw that King Henry ordered three mercenaries, one is a swordsman, the other is a sorceress, and the last one is a crossbowman Lord Boras said with respect. What did he order? Griselda asked. To find the lost three magical treasures of Murchial he answered, looking around for security. King Henry has also given the swordsman the last magical treasure, the Shield of Invincibility You said there was a sorceress she said, her voice seemed worried. How can she be alive when all the witches, except for me, and the entire sorceress community died during the blue sun? I dont know. By the way what is the blue sun? he asked curiously. It happened twenty-one years ago. The witches and the sorceresses were battling each other, the sun turned blue and all of them died she explained bitterly. Witches and Sorceresses are different from each other, as you can see; sorceresses were born with magic in their blood, making them superior. While we witches were born without magic, making us slaves Well I have no time to listen to the history of your race Lord Boras interrupted angrily. Once they have the treasures, one of them might be the king, and I will never be king! Patience is a virtue the witch smiled maliciously. The treasures were stolen by the centaurs, I am sure they will have a hard time getting it, because centaurs are good in making traps What if they get it completely? he asked worriedly. Once they have it, we will steal it Griselda smiled. And the kingdom will be ours! I hope your plan works as you said it Lord Boras sighed and departed. Griselda threw a pouch of ash in the ground and she disappeared to her home, to her fortress. --- Chapter One: Yesterday King Henry sat mournfully at his throne, problems flooded his mind. For years, the kingdom of Murchial craved for money, for peace. The kingdom was weak and undeniably poor. The king wore a small crown made of cheap gold and robes made of the cheapest silk. Bring in the chosen mercenaries! King Henry ordered at his guards, his long silver beard and hair were shining as the fire blazed in the torches. The first mercenary came in, bowing at the king. The mercenary was a male with muscular body, his skin is color bronze, his hair is brown, his eyes were hazel, he seemed to be at his 20s and he had a very handsome face. Peter at your service, my King the mercenary said respectfully and loudly. A great leader, King Henry thought happily. Bring the next mercenary now! The next mercenary was a female about the same age of Peter, or younger. She wore glittering studded, color-silver robes and a pointed hat fit for a sorceress. Anne, sorceress of the West, at your service, Your Highness she said sweetly, bowing. A great sorcerer good in war, King Henry thought gleefully. Where is the last mercenary? The last mercenary was a man about 40-44 years of age wearing normal civilian clothes. Walter, my Lord he bowed. Before we discuss about the quest and reward, I would like to learn your skills King Henry began. What is your skill Peter? Anne? Walter I am a skilled swordsman Peter said, forgetting the appellation. I can use magic to aid my teammates, specifically lightning, Your Highness Anne replied, making everybody tremble in fear. I am an expert crossbowman Walter nervously said, almost forgetting the appellation. Y-Your Highness Good skills you have there! King Henry exclaimed in joy and he suddenly frowned. I am too old to carry my crown and my heir is kind of secretive This kingdom is weak and poor please find the three lost treasures of Murchial. Find it and I will reward you King Henry recited sadly. The first treasure is the diadem of wisdom, owned by my father; it gives unending wisdom to the bearer. The second treasure is the mirror of truth; it is used to save the innocent from jail, used to reveal the true criminal. The last treasure is the scepter of the gods, if the king holds it, he will have glory Who stole and where are the treasures, our King? Anne asked gently. The centaurs, filthy half-humans and horses, they are good in traps and fighting. I do not know where they hid it but you might find clues by listening in tales and legends. You must decide what reward I will give you King Henry said quietly. You may rest in the castle for your quest will begin tomorrow. Peter, I am giving you the last magical treasure, the Shield of Invincibility. Take care of it; it is made of the best and rarest metal in our realm, titanium. It will protect you from most of mortal perils Thank you my Lord he said as the royal guards brought them into their own rooms. --- Chapter Two: Exiled The trio woke up peacefully, unaware of the incoming danger. They were brought to the throne room, where the king sat peacefully. Have you decided what will be your reward? Yes, our Lord they all said simultaneously. What are they? Before Peter could open his mouth, the other two spoke simultaneously, Treasures for the three of us Great. Now proceed to the main hall and get your weapons and armors, I have surrendered half of the kingdoms money for your needs, do not fail me King Henry commanded. They walked silently, following the guards .The doors leading to the main hall opened; they were shocked to see what is in front of them. Different kinds of armor, weapons, arrows, and crossbows lay in front of them. My gosh! Anne said her eyes widened in excitement. Peter excitedly picked the steel armor trimmed with gold linings as his armor; the sword he picked was gold-hilted and the blade was made of the finest steel. Anne took nothing but shoulder armor made of iron and a long iron dagger. Walter took a studded steel armor and a crossbow that is made of fine yew and steel-tipped bolts. There will be a party this night the councilor of the king, Lord Boras, said. What for? For your departure Lord Boras smiled. Too bad you cant go inside the party because you will be leaving right now Anne glared at Lord Boras. I hope you know what you are saying Anne said with anger at her eyes. Oh I know what I am saying Lord Boras laughed. No one finds the treasure, I dont know why but I am sure you weaklings will never find the treasures Silence! Walter ordered. Stop fighting! He started it! he blamed Boras, wielding the new sword granted to him. He lunged towards Boras and released a powerful blow that was blocked by a royal guard. I will have your head for this! Lord Boras shouted angrily. The large doors opened, King Henry appeared, angry at the commotion. Everyone fell to their knees. What is happening?! King Henry thundered. It was the mercenaries a guard squeaked. I agree, Your Highness Lord Boras smiled. No! They started it! Anne cried but was silenced by King Henry. Get out of my palace now! Get the treasures and return once to get your rewards and you will not be punished for hurting my heir! King Henry commanded angrily. But-But your H-Highness he muttered but was dragged by the guards, throwing them outside the kingdoms walls. ---
