  1. Thank you I will consider my question answered.
  2. To explain the meaning of my title please refer to this quote: "Q) Kiper1 - What else will be done to combat Real World Trading (such as using junk to transfer gold between accounts, or people using bounty hunter to transfer money)? A) I dont consider junk trading a problem. I am actually quite happy that it is making those junk items perceived as more valuable. It doesnt allow real-world trading, but does let people do the trades they want. I see it as a good thing! Bounty Hunter is going to be further tweaked." In particular this part: "I am actually quite happy that it is making those junk items perceived as more valuable. It doesnt allow real-world trading, but does let people do the trades they want." These are direct quotes of Andrew's answers in the 17-Feb-2009 Wilderness and Real-World Trading Q&A. So I'm sure you can imagine my confusion and subsequent outrage upon finding that several items have received price caps in the G.E. just today (3-3-09). Items such as chickens, meat, hammer, chisel, bucket, lockpick, bread, and many more. What I want to know is why were these caps have been instated and why we are being lied to. There was some news released today however they neglected to mention this little fact. It seems quite two faced, not to mention wildly inappropriate, of them to do this after Andrew's comments some 14 days prior. Finally let me say that I do not real world trade and never have however, I am quite upset about these new price caps for several reasons: firstly anyone who might have been in possession of any of these items at the time will find their wealth greatly diminished, second this removes a lot of the freedom of the market and could be merely a foreshadowing of horrific things to come, third these new price caps damage new players restricting the value of some of the items they can obtain and use as they are just starting, fourth these new price caps are such that many of these items will not be sold as they were before(who will bother to sell the G.E. chisels for the same price they bought them at? or perhaps more importantly where will you get your raw chickens for summoning etc. I do not relish the thought of going out and hunting them personally, basically it will not be worth it for people to provide these items to the G.E.) and finally we have been lied to... Where is the trust Andrew? =( A worried player, Scorpio628
  3. Many apologies if this topic is redundant, but I would like to ask if anyone knows definitively whether monsters have elemental weaknesses. Of course not all monsters would and many would not have this weakness. However I can easily see select monsters such as elementals or giants that would have a soft spot for magic of their opposing class. In the order of water > fire > earth > wind > water(not to mention ancient magicks). If anyone knows for sure whether this is the case or not their input would be greatly appreciated. If elemental weaknesses are present in this game then they could easily increase the efficacy of magic training for all charters and that is something I would appreciate seeing. 4. I would like to offer my thanks to bluehooloovo for the picture and n_odie for his nice comment and extremely prompt action. I look forward to helping the tipit community in the future. Sincerely, Scorpio628
  5. This scorpion seems to have been left off of the bestiary its information is as follows. Name: Scorpion Race: Arachnid Level: 37 Hits: 37 Ratio: 1.00 Aggressive: Yes Retreats: No Quest: No Members: No Poisonous: No Habitat: Third floor down in the security dungeon.(Its habitat is exactly same as its level 59 counterpart.) Drops: (None) Notes: "An extremely vicious scorpion." Max hit seems to be 4.(Max hit gathered over approximately 20 unarmored hits and approximately 50 full rune hits.) It is notable that moving from the extreme south of the room to the extreme north, or north to south, will restore aggression. There is a slight difference in the appearance of level 37 Scorpions and level 59 Scorpions and that is that level 37 Scorpions are slightly redder. Sincere apologies for the lack of photographic evidence of any kind. Many thanks to anyone taking the time to read this post. A humble observer, Scorpio628
