  1. Even thought it can be rather tedious, What I've done for the past 3 herblore levels since it costs so much to train doing potions was clean grimy kwuarms and sell back to the G.E, You don't loose as much, and it's possible to profit, Plus I use all Penguin points and lamps I come across on it... So I'm slowly getting there.

  2. wont let me ware dat der chocatrees cape in fast of guthex. yes mad cuz dat my fav cape to ware.

Dude, learn to spell. It's not that hard. But I do like the chocatrice cape. It would match well with yellow d hide if they ever decided to make that, maybe it would have an 80 range requirement.

    yellow d'hide*

    Spell;*

Learn to grammar; It's not that hard.

  3. I'd normally advise against fishing for whips. They have a nasty tendency to get tangled in your nets.

Oh I see what you did there...

But OT: Yeah, Farming is one of my main sources of income, I make about 500k a day from farming on a good day I guess...

  4. All quest lines come to a close in one big quest, Old 'Finished' quest lines brought into it aswell, a Mass war between the fremminks, Monkeys, Falador White knights etc... You must pick a side to battle along side with.

Once the quest is complete that's it, No more quests, no more updates, and a slow decline in servers...

  5. I prefer combat over skills, but it does get boring at certain levels... I'm at that kind of level with 81 attack 80 str and 80 def where all the boss monsters are taunting me, and I still can't kill them yet... So yeah it does get boring over time but skills there is a large variety of what to do, which can make them fun aswell.

If merchanting was a skill, It'd be skills all the way.

  6. Well next time I get a tzhaar task, I'm going to go through it up until the wave before jad, log out, and do what my RS name says. I'm always calm and cool after a few rips, so if you're 420 friendly, maybe try that. It'll keep you much calmer than alcohol.

    Mandatory statement....

*Kids, drugs are bad* :shame: :shades:

Tried that man... Ended up laughing at my friend who wrote "<3 (No Home)" instead of "<3 (No Homo)" for about a hour... Then walked out my house to walk a few miles to McDonalds... Maybe next time I'll keep on track.

But thanks for all the advice... I will try the Push ups for sure, and I'm going to go for another attempt tommorow...

I'm not even high and I'm laughing my ass off at that for some reason. I guess you could just turn friends and everything to "Off" and then you wouldn't have any distractions. Hell, even go get some McDonalds beforehand if you think you'll be craving it.

However you end up doing it though, I wish you the best of luck.

Yeah man aha, I was literilly crying... But thanks man, that's a good idea... I'll write on a sticky pad 'KILL JAD' and put it on my monitor just incase I get sybtract again...

    Thanks :D

Stuff I do IRL to relieve jitters:

PRACTICE UNTIL IT BECOMES MUSCLE MEMORY.

    Take deep, slow breaths.

Turn off your brain - train yourself not to think.

That's a very good idea! Thanks!

  8. Ah. I see your problem. Healers are nothing to be afraid of, just hit them once and get them on you. Then continue the routine: Mouse over whatever prayer you aren't using, and don't get jumpy. Trying it in the morning when you're tired works, too, or maybe at midnight or something.

That sounds like a pretty good idea... So I might do all the waves at night time, Log out before the 360 360 wave, wake up in the morning and do it... But I could be tired and fail the switiching even more.. But it's worth a shot. I guess...

One thing I found extremely helpful is getting into the habit of using the shortcut to the prayer interface, I can't remember which Fkey it is though.

Already use them for quick potion drinking... First time I tried using them I forgot what key to press and managed to get myself K.Oed... But alot of practise outside there, They should be alot more useful now...

  9. Look at the vids of people killing Jad in a few seconds. THen remind yourself he is just a fat pig.

I've tried that... But Still, I fail hard. D:

I just got my fire cape today after my fourth attempt. It was actually pretty easy. When you get to wave 61, kill the 360 and 1 180 and half-kill the other. Get your nerves settled, then kill it. Kill the 2 360's that come next, and think about how easy it will be. Every time I fight Jad he spawns south of Italy, so it's pretty easy for me, but it varies. Bowing head and Retriubtion prayer = Mage, stomping feet and no noise = Range.

Yeahh, I understand all of that, I let my nerves settle, have a 20 minute break before the 360 360 wave, Go back in, Jad comes, I put on my prayers, Everything is going fine, THEN I start panic clicking when the healers come out and I end up failing. :/

  10. Okay, Straight to the point, I've tried 6 times now, 5 of those times Jad has owned me... Why? Because I was too panicy and failed the prayer switiching by a second...

I tried being ever so slightly drunk, But then I forgot to put on prayer altogether... :-|

So, Does anybody out there have any tips on how to keep cool and calm when fighting Jad?
