  1. Ok, an update. If the page: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/pop_voyage.htm is visited directly (through a bookmark), the module does not work. Work around that is repeatable for me: - First visit: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/pop_voyage.htm - Click on Rune Tips logo in the top middle of the page (that takes you to tip.it main page). - Use the back button on your browser to get back to: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/pop_voyage.htm - Now module works. Note: the calculator page seems to look for something in storage that is only provided by the main page of tip.it.
  2. I am having problems with loading the calculator, very infrequently the calculator load properly, and I can use it, but most of the time I cannot use it. I have tried with both Opera 12.13, Opera 12.14 (my default browser) and IE 10. I have deleted cookies and storage on both Opera and IE, which does not seem to make a difference. When using the drop down menu to select crew nothing happens, if I enter the values manually the calculator works. I cannot load my saved settings on tip.it server, I have run the Java script debugger in Opera, those are the values it shows errors for: Linked script not loaded [05/02/2013 20:56:34] JavaScript - http://www.tip.it/ru.../pop_voyage.htm Unknown thread Uncaught exception: TypeError: Cannot convert 'saveVoyageData' to object Error thrown at line 1801, column 1 in setVoyageData(saveVoyageData) in http://www.tip.it/ru..._voyage.htm.js: $("#morale").val(getIntOrZero(saveVoyageData.moraleTarget)); called from line 1794, column 1 in loadCalculatorData() in http://www.tip.it/ru..._voyage.htm.js: setVoyageData(JSON.parse(localStorage.getItem('saveVoyageData'))); called from line 1287, column 1 in <anonymous function>() in http://www.tip.it/ru..._voyage.htm.js: loadCalculatorData(); called via Function.prototype.apply() from line 2, column 29466 in <anonymous function: f.Callbacks>(b, f) in http://ajax.googleap.../jquery.min.js: if(c[l].apply(b,f)===!1&&a.stopOnFalse) called from line 2, column 31004 in <anonymous function: fireWith>(b, c) in http://ajax.googleap.../jquery.min.js: d&&(i?a.once||d.push([b,c]) :(!a.once||!e)&&n(b,c)); called from line 2, column 19394 in <anonymous function: ready>(a) in http://ajax.googleap.../jquery.min.js: A.fireWith(c,[e]),e.fn.trigger&&e©.trigger("ready").off("ready") called from line 2, column 28585 in <anonymous function: B>() in http://ajax.googleap.../jquery.min.js: c.removeEventListener("DOMContentLoaded",B,!1),e.ready() A few people on this thread seem to have problems loading the calculator, perhaps providing an off line version would help, until the cause of this problem is pinpointed and fixed.
  3. When one is baned from a college for drinking, normally there is some evidence that is provided, one does not simply get turned away from a college's gate, and no college would be allowed to trade as an educational institution, or as any other institution for that matter, if its charter stated that it has the right to turn away fee paying students without having to provide a valid reason. If that was to happen, the person turned away would be entitled to a lot more than a refund to their already paid tuition fee.
  4. Fortunately, I reside in a place where charging a single cent for services not rendered is still classed as an activity that falls outside the law. As far as I know, this is also the case in England where Jagex is based. Stop whining please and just appeal it. You're only making a fool out of yourself this way. Please do not let me stop you transfering any funds you wish to any on line content provider of your choice. On the other hand, I have a legal right to enjoy a service I paid for in advance, and if this service has been interrupted due to no fault of my own, I believe that I am entitled to a full refund, Jagex T&C none withstanding.
  5. No. Not going to happen. T&C already expressly covers that you won't be entitled to a refund if you are found (yes, found, meaning not this little temporary dry spell that you're bellyaching over) to be in violation of its rules, and lawyers can't do a damn thing about that. If you didn't do anything wrong, quit acting like such a baby about it, and wait for your account to be reviewed. Getting lawyers involved with this is about the worst thing you can do, since you've got a snowballs' chance in Hell of winning. This "little temporary dry spell" as you put it, is being paid for with real money, and not rs gold coins, by myself, which Jagex has no legal right to.

  7. I am certain that that is what Jagex, to a large extent, counts upon, unless one has a lawyer in the family. Also remember, in most jurisdictions, the guilty party foots the legal bill. A) Class action suits are really pretty pointless. The only people who will actually benefit if you win the case are the lawyers. B) It says specifically in the T&C that you agreed to that you own nothing. Therefore, you've lost nothing and it will be a hard suit to win regardless. C) It also states in the T&C that you agreed to that Jagex has the right to delete or lock your account for any reason, or no reason at all. D) Finally, class action suits are typically settled. That means the lawyers will make a bucket of cash, and each victim will be given $5 if you're lucky. THAT sounds like a great use of time. Also, getting the guilty party to pay the legal bill is generally separate from the suit itself. That one can take even longer to win. You may end up LOSING money, and not getting it back for a long period of time. Mathematically, that is even worse for you, since the small amount of money you will earn is fairly small in comparison to the interest you could've earned on the money that Jagex was able to, in theory, borrow. Considering how small interest rates are... hopefully you get the point that you aren't going to get a lot of money at all. E) Remember that Jagex is a British LLC, and international legal suits are even more mired in bureaucracy than suits within a single country. If you really didn't abuse any bug, wait for Jagex to sort it out. If they don't sort it out, obviously they felt you did abuse a bug heavily. You wouldn't be the first person to suffer a ban for a ridiculous reason. That's why they cover their own rears very well in the T&C... to give themselves breathing room for this kind of mistake. I am not after making money, what i am after is a full refund for my outstanding subscription, and perhaps an end to having companies like Jagex operate without being accountable, especially to their paying customers.

  9. I honestly don't believe that Jagex deserves to make a single cent off me anymore, I am also seeking legal advice to reclaim the outstanding on my subscribtion.
  10. When i wish to read Jagex official line, i shall go to their own forum.
  11. Hi all, I am one of those players that were banned due to the recent penguins glitch. Last Wednesday i went to exchange my points with larry, to be told by him that i have only spotted 2 penguins for that week, despite the fact that i spotted many more, there was a penguin just outside ardougane zoo, which i spotted, and went back to larry to see if my penguin count would change, which it did not, where by i stopped spotting penguins. I did not cash in any of my penguin points that i collected for that week. I also private messaged all my friends in game, to let them know that larry is not recognizing the number of penguins spotted, and told them not to bother with the mini game for that week until it was fixed. To my surprise, while attempting to log in today (Saturday), i found myself banned. I am not a newbie, I have a several year old lvl 137 account, with well over 1 bil, in coins and items. I have had enough of Jagex incompetence, and I shall be seeking legal advice from a lawyer on Monday to reclaim the outstanding balance of my subscription, and to see what damages if any, i am able to claim off the company. If any other players are in the same boat as I, and are interested in joining me in a class type legal action against Jagex please post here.
  12. Well guess what, I for one, have not gained a single xp off the penguins bug, i even pm all my friends in game to tell them not to do the hide and seek mini game last wednesday due to a bug that prevented larry from correctly recognizing the number of penguins one has spotted, yet i am banned. I am currently actively looking for another online game, and i am gladly giving up a lvl 137 account. Jagex, you simply don't deserve my hard earnt money, and as to your competence as a company that provides a paid for service... well it simply is none existent.
