    I have officially started my goal of 90 herblore. I won't be on for the next 3-4 days as I am camping; however, I do plan on getting 90 by next week. Here are the first two pictures of day 1.

    Well, I planned on getting along with 90 smithing.. but friends wanted me to come dungeoneering with them, so I did. Ah well, still a very big milestone for me and just in general. Honestly the 2 then 3 numbers looks better than the 1 :P.
     

  5. Updates!

    Well, I have quite a few little updates on my character that occurred yesterday.
     
    First off: 87 smithing. 12 down, 12 left!
     
     

     
    Now, I've been putting in only about 5 hours of runescape in each week, and that's a concern for me because it's not as if I'm super busy. So, I decided that the only way to get me to play more, was to train another skill and not just smithing and mage. So, I've decided to train slayer. This was the result of 3 tasks in:
     

     
    1 more and I'm maxed melee. Hip-hip hooray!
     
    Now, on my first ever tzhaar task I landed this baby on the 4th to last kill
     

     
    I used the tokens from that task on another one of them, so 500k task. Not bad, tzhaar, not bad.
     
    Didn't know what it was at first, so I decided to screenie it just in case. Cool to have one of these, is it better than a zerker in her dungeon? How common of a drop is it?
     

     
     
    Well that's all for now. Next blog will most likely be 99 def/85 slayer if it comes to that.

    Final Sara trip.. without 88 summoning.
     
    After this last trip, which had 3 SS's and a Hilt, which came at the 2nd to last kill of the trip, I'm slayering for 88 summoning, then forfeiting all my pixel money towards 95 prayer (gradually).

    This one made me jump a bit since I hadn't seen a split in awhile, turns out it was a teaser.

    4 kills later, bam! Second ss. It has now graduated from a good trip to a great one.

    Now I was just laughing at this point, 3 kills later, another ss. The third one. Trip is now an awesome/hilarious one.

    And now for the grand finale.. the hilt! Came at the 2nd to last kill, which was around 120 kc (guy died earlier and came back).
     
    Grand totals = 20.5m trip. Best to date. This was my 2nd ever trip with extremes, which, by the way, were a blaring success. Not to mention 2 trips ago I had a hilt as well, and an ss to match.
     
    Getting lucky at sara, however, I'm slayering now for the much sought after - Unicorn Stallion! Not to mention I'll pick up 85 slayer along the way.

    Since I've gotten the sara hilt I posted about in my previous blog, I've been rather busy.
     
    I've completed the seers achievement diaries and the varrock easy one for the tele:
     

     
    I've checked out the new black dragons, and decided ranging there isn't desireable exp..
     

     
    I did Spirit of Summer and Summers end in one go (was very agonizing) to get access to corp and be able to wear spirit shields, specifically blessed.
     

     
    And as you can tell in the awful pic above, I'm going to try aviansies and see how well I fare there. Heres my gear, which besides the bolts will be the same for when i go to arma:
     

     
    Might replace ammy of ranging with a fury, and rol with whatever ring boosts ranging.
     
     
    Anyways: Next blog will most likely be 80 ranging. 'Till then:
     
    P.S: For anyone who reads this, and I doubt many do, what should the exp/hr rate at aviansies be at around 80 range, and the cash per hr if you know? Gonna calc but if I can get some sources might as well :)

    This + ss made this my most successful trip wealth wise, ending at 17.5m
     

     

     
    Now.. I plan on selling most of my sara gear including claws, and getting 88 summoning and 99 range, getting 270 qp for td's, and camping arma. That's my summer outlook at a glance lol.
     
    Now:
     
    90-99 range, how much will it cost to chin and how long might it take; also, how much might it cost? Guesstimates are fine, thank you :) :)

    Set away the 25m I've made in the past 24 hours off of saradomin GWD (mostly from the 6 SS's) and got 81 herb! I fight now towards extremes :D

    I have a 4 ss day today. 3 of them were in one trip, one of which came off a minion, and I've had 23 ss's at sara, and that's the first one from a minion.
     
    The 4th one was first kill of trip. First time that's happened to me.
     
    Now, because of that, and among many many calculations, I've decided to do nothing but gwd for awhile, specifically sara. I'll spend every coin on herblore to get extremes, then on prayer to get turmoil. Long ways away with prayer, and herblore is simply expensive lol.

    Just spent 20m on 80 herblore from 76, which is all I can afford atm. 80-84 (bare level for extremes w/stews) will be an additional 30m.

  11. Tried bandos for the first time, yup, I am a bandos newb. Duoed with a friend. The result was about 20 kills, although the log has trouble counting.
     
    However, I look at one of my friends log on the right, and it looks like he was soloing.. he got a hilt.. we got crashed.. oh and ourg bones LOL

    So, my future 7th 99 has entered the final tens column. To think I started from level 74.
     
    Anyway, the way I plan on training has been updated. I still plan on superheating gold ores, but only when I do my merches. That can get up to 3 hours a day, but probably no more than that. Otherwise, my training will be done largely with addy plates.
     
    I'll alch the bodies, and end up still getting some magic exp. Probably going to end up with a magic level right around 94.

    Well, we can't say Hayward didn't try. But we can say he didn't make the two shots that would have won the game. Hard ones all the same.
     
    End score: 61-59. First game in the past 5 or 6 games that Butler allowed over 60 pts. By one point. Can't say they don't have defense :P.
     
    But seriously, duke is in contention all the time. They should start calling it "duke madness".

    Changed my name once again, it is now aybe. The m inside the silver moderator crown makes it Maybe. Cheap attempt at a "rare" name, but it has many advantages. It'll help lighten the mood when I choose to make my modship known. I'm used to (when I choose to talk) half the people around me will say something along the lines of "mod, oo a mod, or careful a mods here" and such. I'm ok with this as it keeps everyone under wrap, but it tends to be uncomfortable for others. Making my name like this is enjoyable for me and my friends, who got a kick outta it, but it also (as stated) lightens the mood for people around me. I'm not loosing any of my "authority figure" status or my "powers" but I am making it so people can be more like people around me, and not act like scolded school children. I might change it back depending on how things go, but I for one, think it's a real nice idea and my reasons are solid. We'll see.
     
     
     
     

  19. Back into the mix of things

    Alright well hadn't played in a little while as I have been trying a few other games and been dealing with some irl issues. Renewed membership today. Got a few things straightened out.
     
    1) Gonna start farming maple trees to 70 farm. @ 63 right now.
     
    2) Gonna continue cooking. 92 right now. Actually, here's the 92 level pic. Halfway!
     
    3) Bought some minor slayer gear. Gonna slayer a bit every now and again.. mainly for the defense exp. 800k to 98 defense and it will be my last melee 99. Eager to get that over and done with, gonna pace it well with a little slayer here and a little slayer there though. Slayer is @ 83 right now. I want 85, but that's a different story for another time.
     
    4) Cleaned out my bank entirely and set my above priorities straight. After this is all said and done (99 cook, 70+ farm, 99 defense) I'm going to probably skill for the life of me. Main focus will be all stats to 70+, and after farm that'll be runecraft and mining. Think that's it though. Herblore will be second focus. 80 would be nice. After that, 90 woodcut and maybe 80 mining. Spring break will help but me actually having a life outside of runescape won't. Just discussing these goals gives me a bigger hard on than my girlfriend. Kidding about that, but I am pretty stoked to get these things underway. One goal I'm gonna keep in the back of my head for awhile is 2k total. Chris johnson, my total will surpass your yardage soon!

    Been playing around with the new computer so runescape time has dwindled but still has been found. Got 91 cook today, and also 1900 total level. That took me by surprise so I wasn't able to take a pic. Here's the adventurers log picture anyway..
     

     
    Ah well, computer is working great. Couple kinks that shall not be mentioned have been experienced but I'm sure they're worked out by now.

  21. Hallelujah! The new computer is here. The difference is absolutely stunning and it's overall look is just about the best I've seen. So now it's time to play runescape ;).
     
    My new primary goal as of this moment is 99 cooking, I'm going to be running sara/bandos trips for breaks though. After 99 cook, 99 defense. After 99 defense, I'm unsure. Leaning towards herblore, mining, and rc training that I originally planned for. Guess we'll see.

    Taken time outta the last two days to do two sara trips with my new titans. First trip landed me with 800k junk over 5 hrs. Second was a 3 hr trip for 600k junk. 2 shard splits. No hilt/ss spotted.
     
    I was browsing my adventurers log out of boredom, and came upon this:

     
    ... I was unaware of this. I missed out on a boots drop, which would have been my first in over 5 months. :(
     
    Anyway, this is my last blog on this outdated, terrible computer. New laptop arrives tomorrow and at max thursday. Yay :D

  23. 4th 99

    I have completed said goal of 99 constitution after all these months of procrastination. Spent roughly 8-9 hours straight on runescape today just to scrape off the final 570k needed for 99. Glad that's done. I now have a new, nice looking cape to match as well.
     
    Not much else to report, got 97 defense along the way though. So that's pretty nice. Hmm.. well my future goals are a blurr. So many things to do, so little initiative to get one of them right now XD.
     
    Might hit up sara gwd tomorrow. Maybe not. Dunno if I want to tackle this 99 defense goal right now, kinda sick of combat. 2.3m more exp is roughly 33-35 hours of work. That's a full week or two of non stop defense training. Will be worth it sometime in the future, but right now, no.
     
    I've always had a love affair with herblore but it's very costly, and all the prices got jacked up on account of the double exp weekend. Hmph. Ah well, we'll see how things go. Camping gwd sounds like a good plan for money, but I'm not too sure I want to jump into that right now as my funds are not even adequate for gwd. Dunno my total wealth, guessing around 70M.

    (P.S: My laptop is expected to arrive sometime this week)

  24. Double exp and future plans

    Well, I haven't posted in a while so some little updates to share.
     
    1) I'm now a fully registered player moderator. In my last blog I mentioned how I was waiting for the validation. Came today :D.
     
    2) Waiting for my new alienware m15x laptop (a 1400 dollar laptop >_>) to arrive until I start hardcore runescaping.
     
    And now onto the blog.
     
    I took advantage of the double exp weekend and achieved 80 summoning all the way up from 73. Gave me a combat level to advance me to 132. I can now summon titans and not have a totally lame summon level for gwd. 88 is when I can start no lifing gwd. That won't be for a long time though.
     
    My current goals until the end of March.
     
    Finish 99 hp <constituion that is> (570k till)
    80 herblore <---- Depends on funds.
    70 mining
    70 runecraft (if time allows).
     
    I won't be playing very much until that laptop arrives (expected within a week from this date). However, I'll fit in what i can.

    Well, I haven't played in 4 months and have not logged in for over a month. I decided after seeing the Machinima top 10 finalist videos to Revist Gielinor. Upon logging in, I noticed I had 1 new inbox message. I assumed at first this was a "Your runescape membership has run out" old message that I have yet to look at out. Turns out, I was invited to become a player moderator on behalf of Jagex and Mod Calm. Excited, I informed my friend who happened to be playing at the moment I had come upon this information; and he didn't believe me at first. Honestly, I did not believe myself at first. I kept re-reading and re-reading the message that my former self would have killed for in all 6 years of my play. Even though I am not my former self anymore, I was still very excited for this news as I have mentioned. Of course, I plan to accept it, thusly having a reason to come back to play runescape. I became a member and as of right now, am waiting for further instruction on how to finally don my silver crown. I'm not liable to release any further information regarding that matter; but just know this will be my first and last blog entry without a silver crown to wear next to my name.
     
    Anyways, I am 131 combat and 880k to 99 hp as I type this. I am also 450k to 97 defense. Once both are 99, I will have maxed melee. Prayer and summoning will then be the only thing that seperates me from max combat level.
     
    My current display name is ZZ Sideways (a rendition of the HOF band, ZZ Top.) and this is my blog.
     
    Updated: At the end of the day, I got some work done. Did a few slayer tasks and ended up profiting 900k-1m cash in a matter of about 5? hours. Good way to shake off the rust. Also gained the following exps: 391k total exp; 226k defense exp; 75k hp exp; 65k slayer exp.
     
    Work tomorrow and girlfriends house afterward, so no runescape play time shall be logged tomorrow.
