With the grand Exchange is there really, Honestly even a true economy in Runecape anymore? I will start by saying this: I have just recently returned to Runescape and the last time i played the game the grand exchange had JUST be implemented into the game. But with price minimum limits on items, Partyhat prices LOWER then they where two years ago it got my thinking. IS Jagex simply manipulating the economy in order to properly balance everything out.. think about it. The grand exchange offers no PROOF of any items. For all we know the items are COMPLETELY generated through Jagex and the actually items put up for sale by players in the Exchange itself are disregarded. What i mean is, how do me know that the economy isn't completely made up at this point? The game its self has come a LONG way from a completely independent economy it once was. Tell me what you think.

I have decided after a 3 year hiatus from runescape to return and play for fun with one ultamite goal. Getting back the white party hat i use to have. My experiment will be to test the money making potential of a few basic runescape tasks. The Tasks being: Mining pure ess - 123GP each Flax picking - 80gp each (big drop since i last played very disappointing) Mining Iron - 100 GP each Mining Coal - 180GP each Smithing steel bars with purchased ore - 160 Profit of each bar With the Grand exchange i have a tool available to me that once was not. Raw materials are readily available to me. Now my experiment will be to find which task is most money efficient based on a simple GP per hour scale. with my mining at a constant as to not increase ore payout from the rock i will simply calculate which task is worth doing. I am looking for feedback and anyother tasks people my think worth adding.

my stats are: 71att 65str 40def 60something hp hmm so is there good money in pvping because i made a few mill dueling but once they stopped it because of all the RealWorldTrading i called it quits.

Hello, i have not played runescape at all since early 2006. i stopped playing around the time they killed the wilderness and dueling. I have come on here to ask if it is possible to make money in PVP through the winderness or dueling anymore. i see pictures in the PVP sections of these forums with people getting rune items and such for kills. how is this possible. thanks.
