  1. I just got back from a 1 year break, and the first thing I noticed was that all hit points and damage were multiplied by 10. Then, I did pest control, and realized that the portals still have 2000 hit points. Is it supposed to be like that? Or are they supposed to have 20k hit points.
  2. Thanks for the help, Yes I do have a notebook and I'm saving up to buy a desktop. Buying a laptop was a huge mistake, as it is not possible to upgrade. I am still a little confused, is the Nvidia GeForce 7500 in the same series as the 8200? I couldn't find 7500 in the list of notebook graphics cards, but I guess thats probably because its a desktop card lol. Alright so new question, Geforce 8200 > Geforce 7500? Or the other way around. Also, as for the drivers, I don't know exactly what I have but I did update them in the past two weeks. I was missing a few apparently but I just had to download them from the Nvidia web site.
  3. I would like to have a better understanding of Graphics cards. Which are good, and which aren't? I have an Nvidia 8200m Graphics card. Looking at the high number, I thought that it was a spectacular graphics card upon purchase, but I found out the truth once I actually got on my computer and started gaming. Here are my specs: Os- Vista Home Premium Ram- 3gb CPU- AMD Turion X2 (2.00 Ghz) Graphics Card- Nvidia 8200m Runescape runs decently on High Definition. Its not bad, but its not great. But I am thinking about buying WoW and I don't want to have to play it on the lowest detail just to have it run smoothly. I'm aware that it might not be possible to run it in high detail smoothly, but I have my hopes up. What I would really like to see is a list of Graphics cards from worst to best. Perhaps starting a couple below my Nvidia 8200m, to a graphics card powerful enough to run WoW smoothly on High Detail. If anyone would be willing to take the time to do this, I would really appreciate it. Thank you Edit: I found this chart, its kind of confusing but I can see that my card is at the bottom. http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_m_series.html
  4. I myself used to play for 6+ hours everyday, even on school days. After a long break though, I plan on playing no more than 2 hours per day and only on days when I don't have school. How about you guys?
  5. So you bot? Learning to cheat at 13... 0/10, waste of forum space. don't be so mean, just because he messed up a while ago doesn't mean he's a terrible person. I think its a great blog and it is very well organized.
  6. Hey good luck! I'm going to be getting all of my ftp stats to 70 before i switch to members so if you want we can train together.
  7. Does anyone know of a runescape outfit generator? I want to see what full sara with a prayer cape looks like ;)
  8. True, Heck, I used one all the way to 75 woodcutting on this account :P I enjoy barrows, back in the day I got 10m in one day from it 8-) Edit: Oh yeah I just remembered, clay hatchets from stealing creation :D
  9. But thats just the Challenge I am looking for  Besides, you have to remember, its not about skill capes, its about having fun  I can go on boss runs with my friends, I just wont use coinshare. I think I'm still considered a DIYer if I don't abuse lootshare (like go to daggnoths at level 50 and attack once while friends kill)
  10. Yeah but I am not too sure about the security of this account, seeing as I made it when I was young and naive in fifth grade. I made a few mistakes, and almost ended up selling this account. I've been muted four times and I just feel like I want to start out fresh =). And You just have to be creative. Treasure trials can be an easy way to get rune armor :D But there are unavoidable things, such as the dragon hatchet. I'm not going to be able to efficiently train woodcutting until I can kill Daggnoth kings :?
  11. Thanks! I've been reading the forums for a couple years and finally decided it was time to make my own account :D
  12. Oh woops! By the way, this isn't a blog, its an idea for a blog. I won't be starting this until summer and I just wanted to see what other people had to see about it.
  13. Hey guys, I just had a great idea! I am getting bored of everyday runescape, it seems way too repetitive. It seems like all I'm doing is killing green dragons and camping at bandits all day. Today, I made one of my rare visits to the RSOF, and discovered something really cool. I found a guide to Doing it Yourself. It is stickied in the Guides thread. You should check it out, it is really cool. It contains a guide on "doing it yourself" for every skill. It tells you how to use teleports to your advantage while skilling and some great, uncrowded training spots! One the that I found cool that I will certainly use on my new account: Monsters are a great source of pure essence. The Writer of the guide to DIY says he gets ~200 pure essence per herb trip at banshees, and he picks up every type of herb that drops. Over the summer, I am going to make a new account, and on that account I will never make a single trade on the GE or with another player. I will get everything myself. Sure, it might not be as easy, but it seems like fun! You've got to remember, there is more to runescape than Skill capes and Phats. What do you think? Share your opinions!
  14. If it were me I would either mine 1k iron or a little over 2k rune ess
  15. What should I attack them with? I have 50k steel knives atm. I was there with Black D'hide, a Zammy Coif, Accumulator, Bronze Knives, and a Holy Book. I also took Bunyips. since youc an't use Bunyips or Spinners, I'd just take a full inventory of Monkfish and bank every now and then. Using my Bunyips, I stayed for two hours and didn't even have to eat. Keep an eye on your health while reading the forums or something, and you should be fine. Okay thanks! That works out perfectly because I have zammy chaps and 1k monkfish. Thanks for your help!
  16. What should I attack them with? I have 50k steel knives atm.
  17. I want to max out my combat stats as soon as possible and right now I'm training ranged at yaks. I was just wondering if yaks were the best mellee experiance as well. Or are there other places? (Possibly with charm drops?)
  18. Sand_Hill thanks for your answer. I think I will switch between skilling and NPC trading. I was thinking about getting my woodcutting higher on eucalyptus trees because I have heard that that is the best way to go now. I am burned out of runecrafting just getting to 61...
  19. I plan on saving up around 50m to get 99 construction. It is will be my first 99. I was planning on crafting 50k law runes but I want to be sure that is the best way to go before I commit. So, do you think there are any better methods?
  20. I am making a new account and it will be free to play until the mid June. I plan on making it a range tank with 99 range and 90+ derence. I can't decide whether to train combat or ave up money while I am FTP. If I do save money, I plan on mining rune essence until 50 mining then going with iron until I'm a member. What do you recommend I do? Also, does anyone know a good range tank guide?
  21. What would be an efficient way for me to make money with my stats?
  22. ...? woops. Sorry. Where would this go again?
