  1. its not the letter L its the letter I - IG it stands for InGame
  2. drop parties do announce only in the drop party worlds, but if im in world 50 in clan wars and theres a 20M drop in world 102 i only know about it though that drop party chat. its very useful
  3. So with the help of a few very kind friends i got together an ingame forum. its not to replace the orginal forums, but to make stuff abit easy for people who often lag with multiple browsers open. They only cover a few topics cause like i said its not to replace the forums that are out of the game. it uses the clan chat system to operate and the names i picked i think are very easy to remember. ok this is the list of clan chats to join for specific topics, ingame. Ig weapon- for buying and selling weapons Ig armour- for buy/sell armour Ig fletch- for fletch forum and wc forum, and good wc spots Ig discontin- for discontinued items chat and/or buy/sell them Ig smithing- for ore/bars and other smithing advice like popular spot Ig runes- buy/sell runes ingame Ig food- for buy /sell all kinds of food. Ig item disc- for item info and help on diciding if u should or shouldnt buy different items. Ig craft- for gems, gold, hide buy/sell Ig misc- random things to buy/sell that didnt fit the other forum topic, bones for example. clan chat i recommend - that i didnt have anything to do with making. big drops- all your drop party info is here, best drops in runescape.
  4. never said the skills arent worth training, its just not a goal players look to acheive (200m xp in it) unlike them trying to get holidays.
  5. 1. we control the prices because jagex allows us to. if they put a fixed price on a special items what could we do about that? 2.you keep looking at the time it takes to lvl up a skill, look at the time thats passed since i got the item its a few thousand hrs. 3. players the maxed out everything, well some of them, look to holidays as their next goal, if you thinking. 200M xp is nice for a next goal........rite..... as if i want to spend countless hour doing that, players do that when their bored. and whats the point of it? not special happens
  6. jagex doesnt wave wands they script write. im sure they can make those items tradeable and at the every price they please. i agree the advantages i have over those new players isnt perminant. but neither are the rares i have now. eventually they would be able to afford it. i see nothing wrong with tradeable rares in fact it make the game better. how many people would like not to be able to sell or buy a phat/ mask/ santa/. and how many wouldnt want to buy / scythes/yo-yo/rabbit ears.
  7. there is a choice you either want the item or you dont want it, that applies to both sellers and buyers, no one is forced to buy/sell rares, and having a choice to do so isnt bad at all. And now that they(jagex) have applied trade limits and boarders, they could simply decide that they want those items selling for how ever much - be it a few hundred gp or a few trillion <-- just an example. like i said no one is forced to sell/buy, but atleast there'd be the option. AND AS AN OLDER PLAYER I ALREADY HAVE AN ADVANTAGE OVER NEW ONES.
  8. Them not wanting older players to get rich off of items they pick up is a dumb [wagon] excuse. THEY ARE OLDER PLAYERS THEY ARE ALREADY RICH BY NOW. And its not a business if you put them items in drop party. its not going to give anyone an unfair advantage over anything, items that you buy can be sold back if you change your mind later, though the price my change for worst or for better. like i said there is no good reason as yet.
  9. im bringing it up because thats one of the reasons why they wont let players trade them (them being holiday items). honestly their reasons are filled with cliches. im not the type of person who gets fed crap and says it tastes good :shame: , i want a better reason for them not allowing the holiday item trade.
  10. I cant but I can buy one, for the price. This has nothing to do with time traveling. This is about the fact that they dont want player to pick up items off the ground and get rich. So what do player do at drop parties? <--- (this is a rhetorical question, just letting you know that incase you where going to answer it)
  11. thats rubbish, why would they say that and allow drop parties? i've been to drops worth over 25Mgp and everyone has equal chance of getting tons of gp. even a lvl 3 newb with no idea what to do with it. dont believe me - join the clan chat - big drops - this guy made a clan chat for drop parties only and players advertise whats being dropped. and believe me if you do i promise you will see drops that equal more than 50M in a week, imagine a newb making 10M a week from drop parties if he's really really lucky or whatever p.s my story is real and the reason i posted it was incase someone passing through this thread sees it and comfirms it for me.
  12. REASON IM SAYING THAT ITS BASED ON RWTing IS BECAUSE BACK IN 2005 JUST OUTSIDE VARROCK'S WEST BANK -CANT REMEMBER WHAT WORLD I WAS IN- JAGEX STAFF MEMBER MOD ROSS WAS BEING HOARDED BY PLAYERS ASKING FOR STUFF AND GP AND REQUESTS TO BE MODS, I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET A REPLY TO MY QUESTION WHY DONT THEY MAKE ALL HOLIDAY ITEMS TRADEABLE AND ONE OF THE REASONS HE GAVE ME WAS BECAUSE OF REAL WORLD TRADING. I IGNORE ALL THE OTHER REASONS BECAUSE ITEMS IN THE GAME SELLING FOR HIGH PRICES WOULDNT EFFECT THEIR BUSINESS IN A NEGATIVE WHY, IT'D ONLY MAKE MORE PEOPLE PLAY LONGER TRYING TO GET GP TO BUY THEM. AND IF THE ITEMS ARE FOR ALL PLAYERS TO ENJOY WHY CANT I ENJOY A YO-YO OR RABBIT EARS JUST BECAUSE I WASNT THERE ;)
  13. then let players be warned by daingo that when they remove the items from him that he "WILL NOT" (in bold caps) replace their items. then that part would be fixed too  "just picked up off the ground", erm like you mean 5 years ago? well.....usually things that arent availiable anymore get pricey as they age, reason being when new players come along they go, "hey where'd you get that?" then they want one and then they earn it by wc, fletch to get the gp to buy it, i earn some of mine by being there in 2004,05,06,07,08. so what if there are so many rares they will only be worth a few gp....as i recall when phat and santa first came out they werent worth 70+ or 12M, time will eventually increase the value of the items, when i quit i'd be happy if some lucky newb becomes the next rs millionaire by getting my stuff in a drop party, eventually in the future say 5 years many more people will have quit and even many more will be playing, and it will keep on going like this until no one will even see those untradeable anymore.
  14. 1.santas, masks, phats, easter eggs, pumpkins......etc are tradeable and they are rares.... they are tradeable and still are rare 2. i said if a player is quiting they could drop the items so other players who play will enjoy the rare items which the person who is quitting wont need or care about any more 3. its just a concpet price range jeez i dont care how they are priced
