I'd only see them as dirt if the person got them for the sole purpose of getting a skillcape, and is never going to touch the skills again. You can tell that most people just stop at or around 99, as a few thousand experience above 13,034,431 is a huge amount of ranks.
True, i achieved 99 firemaking mostly because of the new features/quest at the time (Adze ect.)
Interesting posts, keep it up guys! :

this is an extremely pointless post. your making fun of players who rant about updates when all your doing here is ranting about how other players play this game. and dont try to say its not a rant. its a rant. your making fun of other players because they dont read every single word of text while doing a quest. because they dont enjoying clicking on the same thing for hours on end just for a high lvl in skill that doesn't have much use. if you dont like how they play then go cry about it. its there life, its there character, if they have fun just training combat then who the hell are you to talk trash about that? if they are happy and enjoying themselves then why the hell should they do anything different?
Thats a rant in its self, as too how this topic has been approached, getting back on topic, i am different from joe because i do care what 99 i achieve, i do read all the updates to make sure i know what will/might and is happening, i enjoy questing, i enjoy minigames, i <3 skilling, i also don't rant on the RSOF, using childish comments :wall:

Now, many people have mixed feelings about this, but anyway, Ever since the day Skillcapes were officially released there was great excitement across the whole of runescape, and up until this day many people are very proud of there 99 achievement(s), But it has come to my attention that there are three skillcapes that are considered to be "dirt".
As you will know from the title, these capes are Firemaking, Fletching and cooking, why you might ask? Well apparently it is because they are easily achieved and can be purchased for cheap prices (Firemaking cost me 3m, Fletching can be bought it sections, reselling the bows as you go along and the same with cooking) But, is this right, to cast judgement over these three skills? I personally have 99 firemaking, and i always get the odd player come up to me, wether it be a high/low level saying, "What's the point of that 99 in that skill?, honestly, its soo noobish.."
My point is, what do you think about these three skills and obtaining 99 in one if not all of these skills? Please discuss, and i look foward to reading the opinions :)

Here's an idea, it's not the most pratical of ideas i know, but you could maybe sketch it out irl, scan it in then ink it.

As many people have already pointed out, Merchanting clans cannot "kill" the economy, they can maybe wound isolated parts, But all in all, i'm pretty sure if not 100% sure that merchanting clans cannot kill the economy, but nether the less, this was very interesting and a fun read.

Yes, i do agree the Mini-game's poorly designed, And i think that both the difficulty and rewards should both be increased, just to keep it even, (Difficulty goes up which = Rewards Increased) And i think you have some very interesting and useful ideas here :

I suppose Jagex has done something about the demands of the runescape players. As IIVIU said:
Pking riot = Dedidcated Pking worlds.
Pest control Riot = Jagex done something about this.
SwiftSwitch = Jagex put in a quick world change device.
So i suppose riots aren't useless, just a bit over the top :wall:

Multitool - This one's a bit more realistic. Allows you to combine every skill tool in the game into one item: dragon hatchet, dragon pickaxe, knife, tinderbox, all types of fishing equipment (no bait), all farming tools, all hunter tools, all slayer weapons and shields, needle, pestle and mortar, saw, hammer and omni-talisman. Also allows one weapon and shield of each combat type, respectively. The final "Multitool" is untradeable. Players can only have one. Losing the Multitool will result in all your items being saved. The next Multitool you obtain will keep all your items. Your Multitool will automatically transform into whatever you need at the time, in an orange burst of magic. Item #7.
I understand the concept and idea of this item, but how exactly would it work, for example, would you just go up to a tree with this "multi-tool" in your back pack, click on the tree and it would transform into a hatchet? Or would you have to right click it and click transform into.., then a list would come up saying transform into.., hatchet, net, tinderbox, fishing rod ect..

Also, there's nothing that bothers me more than analysis of UNRELEASED content. Do you have any freaking idea how it will work for sure? Replace energy restoring familiars? Give me a break.
Exactly, ever heard the saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover?", seriously...

Tbh, i went to GWD with 80+ attack, 80+ strength, and 70+ defence, i was fine and got about 10m loot, (went back to skilling after a couple of trips :| ) but make sure you have at least 60+ prayer.

Wear larupia, set up as much traps as you can, (not too close together) and you should be fine.
-
I don't think you need to pages for it to have effect, as i used my zamorak book for GWD :

As alot of the others have said, the joke's a bit lame, and the art design has room for improvement, but stick with it, everybody has to start some where ;)

I aggree that it puts a bit too many limitations on our communication, but if it was optional, you'd get a whole bunch of hot-heads going round saying what they like to who they like :wall:the limitations that it puts on communication are many, and therefore, I believe that it would be in the interest of everyone if the censor was made optional. -
As everyone else said, get it to protect item, it will benefit you in the long time.

Try fly fishing, or even if you can't really be bothered with that, try lobsters.
-
Both range and melee have there bonuses, but i'd say go for range and just don't go to crazy spending money on the equipment.

Wow, awesome stats, and congratz on all your 99's, also, goodluck on all your goals :

Thanks for the support, and thanks for posting! :

Why not just try another MMORPG, or just even take a little break from it, at the end of the day, yes, everything eventually becomes a chore, but that's just how it goes. :wall:
