  1. Thanks Loffelicious, forgive my ignorance. Does that mean you can get the drops anywhere? I think the ring glowed for the earth talismen as well.
  2. I have just completed a bloodveld task at the slayer tower and received a drop of 31 noted earth talismen and another drop of 31 noted clean snapdragons. Has anyone else had these?
  3. I This doesn't reflect the updated control panel.
  4. friends are good for venging you for the quest but you have to be hit in order for the venge spells to be worthwhile. Hiding isnt an option, at least until the monster is poisoned.
  5. an interesting thought =]
  6. Like you say on paper it is simple. However, Saradomin brew raises a level 3's hp to 13 which is the max hit of the Slagilith and recoils are totally ineffective against it. The paper then looks a little different.....
  7. My friend A Person Ftw has just completed the quest at level 3 also. Something for other skillers out there to consider =]
  8. Steps 10 and 11 can be skipped if you pickpocket Sandy on the first time of meeting in step 5. This considerably cuts down the amount of travelling you have to do.
  9. I wasn't sure where to post to be honest but I was actually looking for other people who had done it. There isn't a desperately seeking section as far as I'm aware, so I felt a discussion may provide some information - which it has.
  10. The directions given to Pollivneach are walking. People may prefer the faster, easier option that the carpets provide.
  11. The were changed briefly to give attack xp but the uproar that ensued meant Jagex quickly changed it back.
  12. Dwellberries spawn in McGrubor's Woods for those who don't wish to purchase them.
  13. Thank you all for your kind words. I figured that the must've been people before me to complete the quest but none that I had heard of. Cook Me Plox thanks for those names. So they are the only ones I have been given =] I have no reason to doctor the picture, I'm not wishing for fame or fortune. I wasn't going to post the picture but the doubting Thomas's forced my hand. I took the picture originally because this quest has haunted me for quite a while. My original skiller tragicdreamz, lost its level 3 status to the Slagilith, i was kind of obsessed by it as it was the only quest I'd not done that was possible as a level 3, it ws to be the 100th quest point. When I became level 4 i was convinced that it could be done and created the new account to prove it to myself. The picture was to remind me of this. I used a bone dagger p++ and a friend (who shall remain nameless until she permits otherwise) who used venge other on me. As said before, recoils are useless against it, and venge is only 20-25% effective. I was lucky on this occasion and poisoned him pretty quickly but I gained 20 attack xp and around 5-8 hp xp. This was not all gained when I did damage but seemed to randomly get added on throughout the fight. In order to survive the max hit of 13, I used guthix rest potions which took my hp to 15 temporarily, and dodged away to the safe spot after every hit. Strangely, the 3 dwarves posed more of a problem for me but not enough to cause me to level so i am grateful for that. I will be happy to answer any more questions but please, if all you want to do is call me a fraud, don't post. Many thanks, Tragicdreamz/ Questin Hare
  14. Yup poison and a friend venging me for the slagilith. Recoils are ineffective against it.
