A friend of mine has recently got ripped off by a real life friend of his. He's 10, and must have thought he could trust his friend with his password. I've tried to tell him about fansites and to read up on all the things that are against the rules, like account sharing, etc, but he's 10, and doesn't listen. Anyway, so he logs in one day and finds his only 3m gone, bank emptied and everything, which he worked so long for. And his real life friends account suddenly gets full Dharoks (I bet the kid already had some cash). Easy to see that his friend (whos at the same school) ripped him off. Whats the best way to resolve this? My initial thoughts were that some d-bag has ripped off my friend and I would force him to give the cash back, in a slightly threatening manner. But, once my anger passed, I wanted to honestly try and figure out how to help out. Anyone have any suggestions? It was also a good lesson for him to not share his password. I was wondering, has anyone been scammed by a real life friend? How did you handle it? Please discuss. OT: About my post count, I've been a tif lurker before which is why it's so low :P.
