    With the limited features JaGEx gives us on the official forums we can't really do much. I can't think of a single plausible solution to this dilemma. Either way the official forums are pretty useless, nobody really views them (well at least, not the sections that should be viewed). My advice to JaGEx: new forums, now.

    Well obviously one of the things that makes RuneScape so popular is that it is web-client game. Some people don't have the time, patience or money to deal with download-pro games, so no download is a plus. Not to mention the various security flaws that could be exploited if RuneScape were to be put on a disc. I just don't see it happening and personally I think it is a bad idea.
