Hey this is my road to 99 fishing thread. Quite rs for 2 years and when i got members i started fishing again, when i started i was 74 fishing. Since then been fishing pretty much non-stop. Started taking pics at 83 with bank pics of fish and value. I started fishing lobbys to 76, then i fished sharks straight away which probably wasnt the fastest way to get fishing levels up but it was good money. I also decided i wanted 99 cooking to trim fish cape so i kept my raw lobbys and monkfish and cooked them once i had about 10k of them. I took a break for abit when i got to level 80 fishing, to train strength. When i got back to fishing i decided i really wanted 99 fish but still wanted money, so i opted to fish 2k lobbys then 1k sharks i did this till i had about 7k sharks and i think it was 17k lobbys (that doesnt work out right but w/e) that got me to 88 fishing. After that i wanted quicker exp (but still didnt wanna do fly fishing) so i decided to fish monkfish. I hadnt done the swan song quest which you need to access Piscatoris Fishing Colony, which is the only place you can fish for monkfish (120exp ea) i also didnt ave alot of the reqs to do it so i took a full day off to complete it. Monkfish were really good exp at 88 i could catch a 27 in about 4:30mins on average, sometimes quicker. At the moment im still at monkfish im catching as i need for 2 levels eg 91-93 i need 11,455 monks then i cook 10k of them and sell whats left over. I will stay at monks till 96 fishing when i will either start fly fishing of barehand fishing sharks i havent decided yet...
