  11. So I've beaten Skyrim as essentially a barbarian with a two handed axe, and I hacked everything to pieces that got in my way. Now I'm trying to play through as a mage and never hold a weapon, but tbh it's kicking my ass.
  12. I would give you more details, but I don't want to give abc or napalm a boner.

  15. have you ever smothered a pizza in bacon bits? Tis glorious.
  16. ? Imagine a female with a glass eye. Now remove the glass eye.
  17. The day when there is no problem with gay people is the day when it should have been removed, but forcing it on a military/society that isn't "ready" for it will probably cause more trouble than help.
  18. Tell me if the judge, or any of the females agree with that.
  19. If they can handle it and it doesn't cause any adverse effects, then sure, let them shower together. It doesn't matter if nothing bad is happening. Go hop in the shower with some girls in your school. Don't try any hanky panky, just take a shower. Tell me if it's ok.
  20. I kind of wonder about the whole "greeks were gay" thing. Its really no secret that 2 people who've served in combat together share a stronger social bond than almost, if not all others, including married couples. So if I wrote today "I love my brothers in arms." In 1000 years, someone reading that could easily interpret it as homosexual, whereas the literal meaning of it is different. But I'm no expert on Greek and whatnot, so it's not for me to say. @pie: Ok so only a few guys are allowed to shower with the women. Is it really different?
  21. So if gay people can shower with people they're sexually attracted to, why can't I?
  22. People try to hide all sorts of shit to get into the military. Medical conditions, criminal records, etc. They could probably serve just as well most of the time, but they still kick them out because they present a liability. You guys love your rights to be individuals. That shit will get you killed, bottom line. I recently read an article about a Muslim ROTC girl who thought not being able to wear her hijab in ranks was discrimination. You join the military knowing you have to be the same as everyone else. Why are we trying to make exceptions? The military changes you, not the other way around. @killer: I don't want to shower with a gay guy. I don't want to have to grab a gay guy's junk during a search, that's awkward enough with a straight guy. I think we have reasonable grounds to be uncomfortable.
  23. It didn't stop gays from joining the military, it just stopped them from being openly gay in the military. And if you don't join because you cant run around telling everyone how fabulous you are, you don't belong in the military anyway. So now when someone does act openly gay, all that's going to happen is that it'll be awkward for everyone else, and they'll probably end up semi-isolated, which is not good. Yeah, but that's not what was happening. People would get discharged for simply stating their sexuality, not "running around being fabulous." The fact that they would get removed for saying that is discrimination. Running around being obnoxious is a problem that both gay and straight people have, and should not be "fixed" with creating Don't Ask Don't Tell. If you're good enough friends with someone they probably wouldn't tell anyone you were gay anyway. You'd get discharged because then everyone knew you were gay, defeating the purpose. Gay people make many people, and so it would disrupt unit cohesion. What's more important? The unit functioning together, succeeding, and staying alive, or someone's "right" to let people know their sexuality. That's my problem with it. Your need to tell people you're gay should not be more important than my life or that of my shipmates. Not to mention how much it was probably ignored. There was a guy in my boot camp division who was obviously gay, people avoided him, but no one ran to the chain of command to get him kicked out.
