It's a doctrine I really would have resonated with about 4 years ago. I still do, but not so much anymore. I recognize that just because something is popular doesn't make it bad - in fact, at least some of the time, it means it's good. People follow things that are good, so things that are popular are more often good than things that aren't popular.
